I purchased a Brother MFC-L3750CDW the newer version in Jan 2019. YOU CANNOT GO BY THE OVERALL STAR RATING BECAUSE THEIR ARE SEVERAL OLDER MODELS MIXED IN. All I can say is that it is very well designed office printer that has so far worked very well. The unit is almost silent when I compare it to the $600 HP laser that it replaced. I have never seen it go into calibration mode like the HP was always doing and the duplex feature is just so nice to have. I have not had to replace toner cartridges but the person who recommended this model to me owns one and says while the toner may seem expensive you do get a lot of pages out of it before needing to replace it. I will update this review if something changes, but for now I am very pleased with this purchase.

Pros: Solid construction, great print quality, multi-function, easy to use, long lasting ink. Cons: Heavy/large, duplex tends to jam, so/so photo quality. Quite simply, yippee! I don't know how long the toner cartridges last, but I've had the printer for a few years now and still haven't replaced one. Also, and it may seem like a minor thing, the printer just works, every time, without headache. I can't tell you how awesome this is by comparison to the fleet of ink jet printers, and mountain of ink jet cartridges, I've burned through. I will never buy another ink jet printer. They're much better at generating cartridge sales than printing.

We bought this to add color to our capabilities. It "replaced" a Brother MFC-7360N that is still in service in another room in the house. We bought each of these because my wife is a teacher and prints A LOT. Schools limit the number of copies available to teachers (budget, you understand) but not the need to make the copies. This has saved us a lot of money compared to ink jet printers. Fast. Good copies. Much more economical. Scan, copy, print, WiFi, even Fax (though I never have). Love this thing.

My second Brother printer. First one didn't copy and scan. I regret not buying this one sooner. Great product! And if you haven't done so Google how to reset your toner cartridges. You will get months of more printing out of them! Do not change your cartridges when it says! Reset them and keep printing. Easy to reset. I just write down which one I reset and when the color starts to deteriorate I know which one to change. I'm not joking you will spend half in toner if not more. Mine is used in a work environment and we literally get three more months out of a cartridge after resetting until it's really empty. Such a scam

For now I could not be happier. This printer is really wireless (problems with another supposedly wireless printer) does duplex printing so quickly I thought I had made a mistake, and scans. In other words it does everything that it is advertised to do. However, what makes this printer a treasure is from my old computer XP (used for expensive software programs) to Windows 10 this printer is able to do it all. For me this is the most remarkable feature since I have either laptops or computers from XP to 10 and my husband has several MACs. So everything is back online with printing capability. Since this printer is for home use, size was also a concern. I have a small table that I keep an old computer on with a keyboard and screen and the printer is able to sit on it without problems. Which was a concern due to some printers laser printers with these capabilities are not able to fit in smaller spaces. I had some concerns about the smell since I had read reviews that stated Brother printers gave off a slight odor. There was a slight odor when the first document was printed but nothing afterwards. At this time I have nothing but praise for the printer.

Ok, probably no one is going to read this review and its not going to be the best or even that good anyway. If you happen to read it and find it helpful please click like. I just got my second of this machine, not because the first one failed.. its still running strong. I got the same one for my office as the one I have had in my home office for 4 months. I love this machine, I have always had good luck with brothers but this machine is awesome. No, its not meant for photos per say, but for a business machine its great (I am a real estate agent) Thank you Brother for a fine product and a great price.

Pro: It just works—without a major investment in time and patience to install and without bloatware that my former HP insisted on adding to my computer. Accomplishing color printing, duplexing, scanning, wireless printing, changing print parameters on the fly—it all works with Mac and Window devices without drama. Print quality in BW and color to me is superior to my old HP from hell. Con: Buyers should read the size specs carefully. I had no idea how big and heavy this thing is—over 50 lbs. Once you find a spot that it fits in your home office or business, life will be good.

I have had this printer 7 months. This is best printer I have ever had. It just works!!!! I am especially happy about the ink usage. I was a HP owner for many years. The thing that made me switch was messages like "Your Ink is out of date" or just "Out of Ink", when there was plenty left. The last one was the Envoy, What a piece of junk. I could get maybe 8 color 8x10 prints out of one set of cartridges. Anyway, the MFC-9330CDW is a wonderful printer. It's not the best picture quality and cannot handle glossy paper manually feed. However, pain paper color photos are marginally acceptable. But then this printer is not advertised as a photo printer so I am not complaining. I will get another one soon..

Works great! I haven't had it long enough to rate durability, but so far it prints when I want it to, and doesn't spend minutes warming up, as my inkjets always did. I print only once or twice a month, so the inkjets would get pretty dried out. Anyway, it was easy to set up for usb connectivity, and scans and prints fine. Photos are very "flat", and don't have the "pop" that inkjets provide, but they're still accurate and easy to look at. UPDATE ---> Do NOT let Brother update the firmware!!! I allowed the firmware update, and 3 DAYS later it was still trying to complete. Now, it won't print anything, and it's an ugly doorstop. 2nd Update --> Ok, I got this working. It still doesn't "know" what firmware version it's using, but it prints again.

I bought this printer to replace a 10 year old Konica Minolta color laser. The Konica's cartridges were so expensive that I was able to purchase this new unit, which has scanning and duplexing for less than 2 of the 4 cartridges for the Konica. The ongoing supply costs appear that they will be much more affordable. The speed of the two units is comparable. The printer is for light office use and occasional printing of photos. Note this printer is not a photo printer and should not be purchased with that in mind. If you are printing something out for family/friends (or a child to take something to school and show the class) with a photo on it you will be pleased, but you won't print anything that you would want to frame. For my needs the unit is a nice technology refresh and provides some features I didn't have before, and lower consumable costs. Also for a nominal amount I added an protection plan to it through Amazon, so i'm covered for 4 years. I'm very happy with this purchase.
