Great mist!

I had been ill w severe tonsil inflammation and congestion for 14 days doctors could not find anything wrong except for posible allergies. I did some research and decide to get a humidifier. In just one night everything was gone. I like the cold mist, no water on the night stand , no sound, and the power light is very dim

Pleasantly Surprised

This humidifier is much smaller than my previous one and needs less water. When I first opened it I was surprised how small it was. I admit I was skeptical. I plugged it in and it barely spurted out a few puff of mist at a time even at the highest setting. I was pretty close to returning it, but I decided to let it run a few hours and then decide. I'm glad I did. Eventually this little humidifier started putting out a decent mist. I slept pretty good that night. I have been running this humidifier for a week straight now with no problems. Things I love : Super easy to fill - it's small and light and fills from the top without having to remove anything but the little lid on top. Runs almost silently. The hum is nearly non-existent - all I hear it the light tinkling of water, which I find soothing but might annoy some people. The power light has a sleep mode and turns COMPLETELY OFF. The lights on electric equipment drive me nuts at night, I'm so glad you can turn off the light without turning off the unit. That little tank can run for almost 24 hours without needing to filled. I fill it at night before bed and leave it running all night and the next day and don't need to fill it again til bedtime rolls around again. This is at the highest setting. The opening on the unit it wide enough i can stick my whole hand and properly wipe it down and clean it. I'm not sure if the stones do anything at all but they don't hurt any and easy to lift out of the way during filling. They are in a closed tube that does not open, so I'm a little concerned about keeping it clean, but for now I just rinse it off with vinegar now and then. All in all I have no complaints so far.

Quiet!

This humidifier is quiet! There is a little bit of trickling water that you can hear but that sound fades into the background. I purchased another humidifier that claimed to be whisper quiet, but this one actually is! It's nice not to have to disassemble the unit to add water and cleaning is easy too. I hope the anti bacteria stones prevent the grossness that comes with using other humidifiers. I appreciate the touch operation that has three settings and a dimmer light (that shows in blue, green and yellow) than most other humidifiers, because personally I don't want any additional light sources in my bedroom when I'm trying to sleep. I like that it is black (and clear) and blends nicely into the bedroom decor, rather than looking like an obvious appliance and sticking out like a sore thumb. There is a label on it that says using essential oils with the unit will void the warranty, so if that is your plan, you may want to purchase an actual essential oil diffuser. But if you want to humidify your room, this is a great unit!

Teen son is happy

My teen's doctor recommended a humidifier for his ongoing sinus and allergy issues. I was happy to find this one- not only with a good price, and good ratings but one that would also look good sitting in his room. He's picky about style. He told me it has been very comforting to his nose at night and he feels better when he wakes up. I must say the high setting is quite high. I came in one morning before I was used to him using it, and I thought there was a fire in his room and shouted to wake him up, but it was just humidity and he laughed at me. Joke's always on mom. Now he uses it on a lower setting. And added plus is the water reservoir is very easy to fill and the large opening looks like it will be easy to clean the unit. I'm glad I purchased this one over the pricier well-known name brands at the store.

I live in a one bedroom apartment. I bought two...one for the living room area and one for the bedroom area. I fill them two to three times a day, depending on what setting I have them on. They run 24/7 and have been since I first received them, approximately a month ago. I love that you don't really need to press a button to turn them on...just run your finger/hand in front of the button and it turns on...and you can adjust the setting the same way. I highly recommend this!
