Very helpful and does what it's supposed to do

So I got this backup camera kit because my car isn't new and fancy that comes with it. The installation was something that worried me the most, since i'm not good with cars. After receiving the package, I went through the instructions and got it working, i tested it before setting everything permanently. To my surprise it worked without much issue, and then tested it out. Works great, fits the need and it's a good price for what you get.

Great Service, great product at a low price.

This product has proved a very good buy. The first camera I ordered, was found to be unsuitable for my car. However having asked toguard for advice. They recommended a wired version. This after a minor adjustment, making the cigarette lighter the source, instead of the reversing light. I ended up with a very clear viewreversing camera. I also have the choice of removing the parking guide grid. This leves a very useful rear veiw camera TOGUARD has proved to be a very caring supplier. The service has been fantastic. I can not promote this company to highly.

Love the screensize and used it on a landscaping truck without issues.

I've been buying a lot of dashcams and backup cameras but was looking for something with a big enough screen to use on trucks as we haul equipment and need to turn and backup in to tight spots. This reverse cam hit the spot on the needs and the price was perfect (again I missed out on the discount codes to make it cheaper!). The wire length was long enough to fit a Silverado 1500 dualcab truck and for the time being i've attached the monitor using an industrial 3m type tape on the dash. The temp got 90+ degrees and so far I am seeing no issues with the camera or the monitor. The company seems to be able to answer questions in a relatively quick time as I might look into buying another one but wanted a a wifi one which they do sell to avoid running wires. I am using it right now to help us hitch the trailer but might endup drilling holes and moving up the camera slightly but its perfect for what we need it for. AMS

Good Build Quality

Great build quality. This camera is made for the outdoors! Full metal frame and metal mounting bracket. I took some pictures of the unboxing so you can see the box contents. What I like about this camera is the ability to use your cigarette lighter for people who are novices and don't want to mess with the cars electrical wires. Only drawback is that you lose the automatic reverse camera and have to turn it on manually. This inconvenience is made up for by the provided remote control, which makes it easier to turn on and off. For my purpose, I prefer the manual on and off because I will only use the camera when I am hitched. My car came with a reverse camera built in, so I don't need this to turn on and off automatically. Another cool feature that I won't use, but may be useful for some, is the additional video input. You can add another source and use your monitor for an additional purpose. I do not recommend watching movies while you drive ! Overall an easy install and the camera works as advertised. I would recommend this!

The picture clarity is great

Pros. 1. The size of monitor is excellent. 2. Night time vision great. 3. Camera mounting easy Cons, 1. Excessive wire from rear camera to monitor for my application ( Pickup truck) nice if company provided some variation in wire length. I had a big roll to hide after installing. 2. Dash mount bracket a little flimsy . 3. The pigtail connector from monitor should be made longer so it could be hid under dash possible 36".

Excellent Product for the car

I purchased this back up for my old car.I installed it with no issues,just a little difficulty of installing the camera. But after installing it,I’m happy with the outcome,I can see behind through the screen in a clear video and a big display.It has parking line to help and guide,the warning how close your car to other car when parking.The video will turn on only when doing a reverse driving..Highly recommended this item.

Great backup camera

I choose the easy installation with power from the lighter, as I didn't want to risk hooking it to the brake lights (my jeep cuts off power to lighter when the engine is off, if your power stays on then unplug so the battery does not drain). I installed inside my jeep on a plastic piece, and ran the cable overhead to the front (using some clear packing tape). There was a lot of cable (which is good) so I rolled it up and put in the dash to help hold the monitor in the storage compartment . About 15-20 min. To install. Works great so far. If it lasts 1-2 years that would make it a great do it yourself item. So far happy and pleased.

Great product for a good price!!

This backup camera I had installed on my 2010 Ford F-150. The installation went as easy as one can make it. The cord that comes with it is very long, I am guessing if you want to install on a trailer or something. You have the option of hooking up through the truck or through the cigarette lighter through the adaptor. I did it this way so I can turn on and off when I want. I had one small issue with the pins that connect the monitor to the cord. They were able to replace that for me and all is well. Monitor is nice and clear as well.
