Fantastic time saver.
I had a cast for four weeks. During the first few days while I waited for this product to arrive, shower time was rough, dealing with plastic bags, tape and losing arm hair while trying to shower. This product takes all the hassle out of the process. It slipped on over my cast and still permitted me the use of the thumb and fingers while providing a water tight barrier that just as easily slipped off when my shower was complete. Two things to note: 1. As mentioned in the instructions, this has a very good seal on your skin, so do not plan to wear it any longer than necessary as it will semi-tourniquet your arm while using it. It will leave a stress mark on your arm at point of skin contact that went away for me within 5 minuites of removal. 2. The water tight seal also traps pre-existing natural moisture from your arm. After a hot shower, physics wins ams because of the temp change from a hot shower, you may find some condensation has formed inside the sleeve.. this easily dries out by letting it breath until the next use. Wonderful product! Thank you!

Good quality product
I recently had basil joint reconstruction done to my left thumb. My left lower arm was wrapped in an Ace type bandage, over a cotton batting material, over a splint to immobilize my thumb, which made quite a large mass. I searched Amazon for a product to put over the bandages to keep them dry while showering. I looked at many different products, but I found this product had consistently great reviews. I can now add myself as one of the reviewers who gives this product 5-stars. There are many cheaper versions of this type of product, but trust me, you won't regret spending a little more to get this item. I found it to be well constructed with high quality materials. I feared I wouldn't be able to get the large bandage into the smallish opening on this protector, but it turned out to not be too difficult at all, and I was able to do it without help. My arm/bandage stayed perfectly dry. I used a towel to dry the protector before removing it, and then draped it over a towel rack so it could air dry between showers. If you are needing to protect your arm, or a bandage on your arm from getting wet, I highly recommend this item.

This shower cast cover saved my sanity! It keeps my cast dry and is easy to use.
I broke my wrist nearly two months back, and so spent a few weeks having to garbage bag and tape my arm prior to showering. That's tricky with only one hand free, and was never comfortable. Also, I always worried that the bag/tape setup would leak while I showered and get my splint and wrappings wet. I purchased this Arm Cast Protector, and wasn't able to use it for a few days as it's not long enough for a splint going from my hand to a bit past my elbow.. Following surgery, my arm was put in a cast covering 3/4 of my lower arm, and the arm cast cover works perfectly. The seal is tight. I had worried that the gasket would loosen up over time and start leaking, but that hasn't been the case. The gasket was slightly tighter for the first few days and uses, but the cover is still very effective and I haven't had any issues with leaks during showers. I've used it for over a month now; it's light but strong, and effective. (Obviously I'm not doing my normal workout or using my arm normally, so it's also likely that the slight"loosening" I noticed is due to some muscle atrophy.) The description warns not use the cover longer than 30 minutes. The seal is tight, and I won't say it's comfortable enough for extended wear, but I haven't had any challenges with circulation or bruising or pain from the cover. Prior to purchase, I recommend you measure the length from hand (fist or extended) to the edge of your cast or bandages closest to your body to ensure the seal will be beyond the area to be protected.

Excellent for someone in an arm/hand cast
I recently sliced through my tendons and had emergency hand surgery. I'm in a cast but that doesn't mean I can't shower. This cast protector works great. It fits on nice and tight and you can shower and bath without issue. Keeps the cast dry. Not so easy to get on at first (needed help the first time as the opening is quite tight) but after that , the second time i used it I was able to get it on by myself with one hand. I would highly recommend this product.

Awesome leak-proof protection
This ia a must-have if you find yourself in a situation where you can’t get your lower arm wet. I had thumb surgery so I need to make sure the area stayed completely dry when showering. This protector is well manufactured and the rubbery aubstance at the end ensures no water can enter.

Performed as advertised. Good quality.
Needed to wear a cast for 6 weeks so needed a durable protector. Product has withstood numerous showers & hottub. Although I tried not to submerge my arm completely underwater I think it would have held up if I did. Was able to shower without worry of my cast getting wet. Product held up the entire 6 weeks.

Works Well, Good Quality
I bought this after having to have wrist surgery after a car accident. I was surprised at how thick the material was that this is made of, I expected the plastic to be much thinner. This fit over the heavy dressing that was on my arm with ease and the rubber diaphragm sealed tightly around my arm above the elbow. So far I have used this several times without any leaks. I would recommend this to anyone who showers or bathes that has an arm cast or injury they have to keep dry.

Yay. Great product. Don’t hesitate.
Works exactly as described. It’s a pleasure that now I can take a shower and the cast on my arm does not get any hint of water on it. What a great relief don’t hesitate to buy it.

Know your needs before buying
I had a broken wrist and wanted to cover my splint. By nature of the cast cover (keeping water off splint), it has to be snug against your arm to work well. I hadn't thought about that when I ordered it. It was way too snug to put over my wrist before it was stable (jostled the unstable arm and hurt like crazy). When my wrist was first stabilized, if someone held the cast cover open wide for me, I could slide my arm in and out without hurting. Once my wrist was stable for a longer period of time, I could put the cast cover on and off by myself without hurting my wrist. The cast cover works really well for keeping water off your arm. You just have to think about how easy it will be to put on and take off.
