Our grandson who plays both the violin and the guitar had a blast with this.

It is a cross between a harmonica and a keyboard. We call it the keymonica.

Terrific for budding musicians and just for playing around.

I bought three melodicas. One for our 12 year old grandson (trumpet player), one for our grown son (saxophone player) and one for Grand-Da, because he loves to experiment with sounds. Big Stephen Colbert fan, so wanted to pay tribute to Jon Batiste and his incredible talents. I, also, bought three beginner books for them. Sound and tone is deep and rich. Extra mouthpieces and the case make this a bargain that is incredible.

Great for kids learning

My niece is now over 1year old and my sister wants her to start learning the difference with sound. My sister used to play piano but she think it’s a waste to buy a piano in their apartment. So I got this for her to try. So far she really liked it. She said that it’s great becuse she can actually sanitize the mouth piece, so that my niece can play with it too. She’s too young to understand how this works but it’s always good to learn.

Affordable Fun

This Melodica is affordable starter for my children to explore and see if they find interest in it. Pretty good investment for children (even myself) to kill time with!

good melodica, light and simple

The melodica is good, lightweight, and simple. It comes with two pipes and two mouthpieces as replacements. That's very thoughtful of the producer. It sounds decent, and I can say so as a musician. It's a lot of fun for piano players who want to be able to jam anywhere (on the beach / picnic / parties).

Big hit with the grandkids

Ordered 2 by mistake and was ready to return one when I realized that I needed an extra gift for my budding teen granddaughter who is so hard to buy for. MY musical grandson and she spent the afternoon and evening off in a corner experimenting. Turned out to be a great gift. The item is well made and easy to use. the case is also well made and should last for years. Once you start playing it is hard to put down - all of us wanted to try it! Of course my son wants to kill me - the volume is impressive!
