Perfect for my tank and betta

Quite pleasantly surprised with this purchase for my 10 gallon tank. It is a nice focal point and keeps it interesting for my betta. Definitely a great addition and a show stopper!

Impressive!

Reading the dimensions, I was afraid this log would be tiny, but I was pleasantly surprised! The holes are big enough for fish to fit through (dwarf gourami and axolotls can fit). It did not take long for my fish to start exploring their new cave, and I’m pretty sure my bumblebee catfish is going to adopt it as it’s new home. The inside is smooth, and the color is spectacular. Being “Brown” in color, and having a black theme tank, it still looks quite awesome. I cannot find a single fault with this log, very nice quality!

A MUST for your betta fish!! Best decoration you could buy for your betta fish!!

I moved "Fred" into a Deep Blue Aquarium 2.5 gallon tank that now sits on my home office desk. Something large enough for Fred, but I have to be realistic with limited "desk top real estate". This hygger betta log sits smack in the middle of my 12x8x6" inch Deep Blue tank with two natural broad leaf plants on each side. After heading to Pet Co. and a good deal of research, I found this log on Amazon with only 3 reviews...all 5 stars! FRED loves his new hygger betta log! Within a minute, he was darting in and out of it and appreciates an area just to chill. He has already figured out all of the access holes and USES them all! I placed this betta log at a 45 degree angle and it is the best thing I found for FRED. Get one for your betta! He will be sooooo happy! Note: As much as I wanted a kit for Fred, I ended up building my own tank kit. I just couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Nemo loves his Hygger Betta Log Resin Hollow Tree Trunk Ornament

When I was researching various ornaments to adorn my new pet (Nemo, the Betta Fish's) home, I saw a number of reviews on this log, & it made sense fishies enjoy a little place to hide & have a place to avoid light or just avoid people tapping fingers on the tank, & otherwise enjoy swimming through the various holes in the ornament. Happy to report Nemo Loves his tank ornament, & I think it looks great in his tank, it's not presented any issues with regards to any paint chipping off, or torn fins due to sharp edges, it looks great, & I would highly recommend the ornament & the seller, who shipped the item fast, well packed and in new condition!

Super Cute Natural Looking Log

Such an adorable log for my natural looking betta fish. It looks so realistic! My betta loves the multiple entrances/exits for him to swim through. And provides the perfect hiding spot for him to feel safe in. Came quickly & has been a very nice addition to my fish’s new home. Btw my tank is 5.5 gallon about 16 inches wide & 9 inches long. The log sits nicely in the middle with plenty of room for my betta to swim by

I have this in my Betta tank and he seems to enjoy it. Betta's like to have places to explore and hide and this ornament does the trick. The natural tones help to add to a more natural setting for Betta's, as opposed to some big weird neon decoration. After weeks of use, the paint seems to be holding up quite well. I've had decor that would lose it's paint after it's second or third cleaning, but this has lasted a couple of brush scrubs so far. My only issue is the little green plant in the front. The blades have a rather sharp tip which could damage a Betta's fins, but these can easily be cut and removed, and won't even be an issue with the vast majority of fish that people keep. All in all, it's solid buy for the price. Most decorations sold for tanks require a bit of tweaking to suit your fishes needs anyway and this one was no different.

Its very realistic looking!

If you want a natural LOOKING tank without the headache of doing real natural items that require much prep, this is nice. Great for a 5-10 gal aquarium. Larger than that and it will look small unless you do several. Good hidey hole for cichlids, plecostomist etc. Also good to string live plants or moss onto. For those who are buying this for your BETTA...well bettas do not USE hidey holes-unless its a female about to get killed by a breeding male and why did you leave her in the tank that long anyhow. If you are betta tank shopping, get FLOATING plants...that is what they live for! Nice pice, happy with it.

So Pretty

The first time we ordered this, it came in a box with a lot of other things and broke on the way to us. As soon as we started a return, they sent us a new one, and it is just gorgeous! The bark really does feel like real bark, but won't soften up like wood -- maybe not the best choice for long finned fish, I thought, but we are using it in a betta tank and have had no issues. There are some sharp plastic edges inside as well, which we sanded down a bit. There was some offgassing when we first put it in a tub of hot water, but we left it soak, as we do all our ornaments, and had no issues after that. I wish they would come out with a floating version, and about a million other deco items, because this really is just gorgeous and we would buy them all.

Perfect hide for aquatics!

Just what I needed! It looks beautiful in my tank and it's a perfect hide for my Axolotl! Highly recommend! Super fast shipping! I love it!

Betta Approved

The quality of this log is outstanding. Not only is the detailing gorgeous but it also doesn’t have jagged edges on any of its entrances, making it safe for long finned fish like bettas to play in. My fish loves his log and uses all of the entrances. Would buy again!
