Do what they are supposed to, but the fake cable should be replaced by a fake antenna because almost everyone uses wi-fi now. But a fake antenna on top and remove the cable. I actually took some old cable and attached it to the short piece on the camera and made it visible to a logical place where one would think the cable would go into the house. (Drilling hole in side of house and gluing end of cable into hole) I purposefully made it look amateurish, so people would think they were real. I have one real camera, but didn't want to buy a whole lot of others so hope these work as a deterrent. But small antennas on top would be better and more realistic looking.

Easy to install and adjust

Very easy to install. Remove from bracket and install bracket first. Very good for environments like mine close to salt water where everything rusts.

Looks Authentic - Good Deterent

Seems to be doing the job since we have noticed less evidence of folks hanging out (less trash and detritus.) Was a little bit difficult to install the battery but not excessively so. Needed a very small Phillips screwdriver. Flexibility of the positioning joints is great. Easy to position in any direction.

Unbeatable Deal - They Look Very Real Too

You get for of these for about 20 bucks and they look very realistic. They take 2 AA batteries each so the red LED will blink. Since 1 LED takes almost no energy, I think the batteries should last a while. I installed them by just sticking them to the wall with fast drying outdoor construction adhesive... it works great, and much faster than trying to screw them into a stucco wall. I just need to trim off the excess glue when I have time. I am very happy with these.
