Just what I was looking for

Despite the fact that every recent phone I’ve owned had a screen protector, I resisted adding one to my new XS MAX for a couple of reasons. One is that covering an edge to edge display is a whole different thing than covering the older smaller screens of previous phones. Another is that I didn’t want to do anything to detract from the beautiful high resolution OLED screen. But most importantly, I didn’t want anything to get in the way of the performance of the face recognition system and front facing camera. And most of the early screen protectors for the XS series insisted on only having one small opening for the speaker and covering the optical components with glass or plastic. WHY THIS ONE This one is what I wanted, the entire notch area is unobstructed to prevent any possibility of conflict with the operation of the face recognition or front camera optics. Perfect. Now what about taking away from the beauty of the screen itself. Fortunately this screen protector also happens to be one of the thinnest tempered glass screen protectors available. It is almost impossible to see or feel the edge and it works well with my Mujjo custom leather case. The look and feel of my phone’s screen are unaffected by the screen protector and the only visible difference I can see is that when the phone is off I can see the cutout where the notch is. I like that they include an installation guide unit, something that is usually seen with more expensive screen protectors. I also like that you get 3 protectors because everyone messes up on the first try. ACTUAL INSTALLATION No matter how they are made installing screen protectors can be a challenge. Here are some hints 1. Install it in your bathroom. First turn the shower on hot until there is some steam in the air, this will cause any dust particles to fall from the air. Not too much steam though. 2. Turn on any air cleaners you have and place them nearby. Turn on the bathroom exhaust vent van if you have one but don’t open any windows. 3. Remove your pets from anywhere near where you’re working. It is not necessary to remove pythons, goldfish or rhinoceroses. 4. Turn off the HVAC if you have forced air heating/cooling. 5. Work fast. Have everything you need available and as soon as you clean your phone’s screen and use the tack strip to remove any final dust be ready to install the glass immediately REAL LIFE Being as careful as I could I did end up with one large air bubble right in the middle of the screen but all I had to do is lift up on the glass and let it sink slowly down again. It’s really almost like magic to watch it adhere and push any air bubbles out all by itself. Note that they tell you that this will not go all the way to the edge. It’s true. It actually stops quite a bit from the edge. I’m not sure if I would like that if I wasn’t using a case with a raised edge. Also note that when the screen protector is perfectly centered the notch is not. You would probably never notice that but I used a notch enhancer to verify that it is very slightly off center. Finally, I don’t care how good this is, a low cost screen protector is never going to equal what Apple does to their screens to protect against fingerprints. This screen protect does attract dust a little more, it does get a little dirty faster and it definitely shows fingerprints more than the phone’s actual screen. It’s just something you have to accept. It’s impossible for anyone to make any valid comment about how it works to protect a phone because everyone uses and handles their phone differently. Some people are careful and some people are careless, who wants to know that some careless person cracked their screen. I don’t. I fall into the careful category but I do carry my phone in my front jeans pocket and scratch resistance is more important to me than shatter resistance. So far I am happy that this protector seems to be doing very well helping to protect against scratches and there hasn’t been any peeling away or bubbles. In other words I installed it and simply forget it’s there. Just what I was looking for.

Great screen protector, great value!

Really impressed with this brand of screen protector. Box comes fully stocked with what you need. Alcohol cleaning wipe, dust absorbing sticker, guide stickers, etc. There's 3 inside so you can cover multiple phones up. It was easy to do, took me less than a 5 minutes. I highly recommend this product!

Amazing Tempered Glass Screen Protector

What a beautiful fit and comes with a cutout to apply TG evenly, no bubbles. I would buy again!!

Pros: -3 screen protectors in a pack -Comes with wipes and plastic applicator guide that allows for easy and flawless application - Doesn’t track fingerprint as much as other brand screen protectors Cons: -There is a small gap between the edge of the screen protector and phone case (see picture). Dust and little fuzzies can get trapped there after a couple of weeks of carrying your phone around. It is easy to clean though with a q-tip or a cloth.

Very good for the price

I was little sceptical on these because I usually run spigen but they were unavailable on release day so I gave these a try. They arrived on time and actually came with 4 in the pack so that’s a plus. It fits perfect with the alignment tool, they’re were some bubbles but you can work them out and around the edge they were vusable but you can work them all out and it looks really good. No rainbow around the screen to they have a lifetime warranty to if you send them your order number.

It really protects!

Just two days after I installed the screen protector on my husband's phone, he accidentally dropped his phone and the screen protector took the brunt of the hit. The phone itself was safe and no damage. And, since there are 3 comes in a package, I already have replacement handy. It also comes with a template that makes it super easy to install. Great value & great quality. Glad I purchased this.

Easy Install

On December 1, 2018 I noticed a micro-scratch in the front glass of my new iPhone XS Max and decided that for the first time in my life I would add a screen protector. I’ve owned every iPhone there is and this is the first time that I’ve used a screen protector. My wife told me I should go to T-Mobile and have them install the tempered glass, but since there were three in the pack, I decided I would try one install myself. Even though I am normally clumsy with my hands and don’t see things up close very well, I was able to install the screen protector perfectly. There were bubbles, but I was able to easily work them to the sides and now everything looks great. The touch works well, but I have noticed that one or two times when I have had to touch an icon twice to open it. Not a big deal. I can’t comment on durability, because I just installed the screen protector last evening. I’m really, really happy with it though. I don’t even know it is there, and now I feel “scratch away”. I have two more that came in the pack as spares. Woo hoo!

A++ Easy Effortless Installation

Boy, was I nervous about putting a glass protector on my brand new iPhone XS Max phone. No worries. This was very nicely packaged with everything you need for two applications or two iPhones. The kit was easy enough to use for anyone - of any age. The guide fit perfectly and made for a flawless application. You need only be concerned with making sure everything is clean and dust-free. I can't comment on its durability since it is only a month old. I also can't judge its effectiveness and I hope I never have to find out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this brand. Made it so easy. Simply READ & follow the simple directions for a flawless installation. SUPER company customer service too! UPDATE THREE MONTHS: My new, top of the line Xs Max took a heart stopping smashing hard fall to the concrete. On its corner. My UAG cover and this screen protector did their job. The protector edge took the blow and cracked like it is supposed to do! I need to take it off and replace it now. BUT MY IPHONE SCREEN IS FINE.

High quality glass. Perfect install for clumsy people like myself

This has a really high-quality glass and is super clear but great protection. Touch sensitivity is exactly the same as without. The install frame (an absolute must) provides the perfect install every time. I also like that they give you 3 protectors. That's better than a warranty. If you do have to request a warranty replacement, I have done it once and they are very good about it. The dust during the install is the only part that is tough. Ideally, you will want to install the moment you open your new iPhone while it's super clean. I recommend shining a flashlight to find hard to see dust. I typically install mine in the bathroom where there is good light and has less dust in the air. But seriously, those who feel they don't have steady hands, don't worry, the frame will help a ton.

simple n easy

i recently upgraded to the xs max and needed some protection for it. because of the bumper that helps application, i chose this one and i do not regret it. it's great! there are so many goodies that come in the box, it's impossible to come out without a shiny, new screen protector. the bumper easily snapped on, i wiped down my screen with the wet/dry towelettes, peeled the backing from the protector, lined it up, and pressed it down. no bubbles, no crookedness, no hassle — this made applying screen protectors very simple and i appreciate that. in addition, it's pretty sturdy; i've dropped it on concrete, pavement, the road, school flooring, wood, carpet, etc and my screen is perfectly intact. i highly recommend this!
