I had high hope for this Sun Joe SPX3000 Max Pressure Washer, and they lived up to them. Ive only ever used gas powered washers before and know that the electric versions typically aren't as powerful in comparison. But unfortunately gas machines are a lot more hassle, give off exhaust fumes, are louder, bigger and can have maintenance issues so we wanted to switch to electric. Electric is usually more compact, quieter, and you don't have to worry about breathing in exhaust fumes. This Sun Joe electric power washer is their highest model for power and performed the same as my old gas power washer. It worked great to get grime off our awning that had been baked on for years even with its lightest pressure nozzle. With its highest pressure nozzle, it cleaned our patio and concrete steps really well too. The machine is pretty powerful. It has a 14.5amp motor and produces 2800 PSI. I looked at a bunch of other Sun Joe models and this is the one with the highest PSI that wasn't a giant commercial use machine.... For anyone that doesn't know, PSI stands for "pounds per square inch" and it is the measure used to show how much force is generated. So the higher the PSI the more powerful your electric power washer is going to be. This Sun Joe SPX3000 MAX is their highest PSI model. Its powerful for an electric machine and can handle tough jobs. I would strongly recommend for anyone going with an electric machine, to splurge and get the higher model. It's worth it, especially if you plan on using it for tougher jobs, like concrete and siding. The whole machine is fairly compact which I like. It barely takes up any space in our shed and all of the parts (the sprayer, pressure hose, and changeable nozzles) attach neatly to the machine for storage. The electric cord is 35 Feet long, the pressure hose is 20 feet long and there are 4 spray nozzles for different levels of pressure and 1 to produce foam. The sound is also much less obnoxious and loud than the gas versions which I like. Im happy with this power washer, I feel like it's the best electric version I could have gotten. It's a powerful machine that handles all the tough cleaning jobs I need it for. I'm really glad I got this model and not any of the cheaper ones with lower PSi's because anything less than this model wouldn't have enough power for what I need.

This is a very nice, solid unit. Assembly was easy enough, basically put the handle on, install a couple of miscellaneous parts, and attach the hose. To use it of course you need to hook it up to the water hose as well as plug it in to electricity (the cord is very long so you should have plenty of room to move it around). I'm just amazed at all the uses I find for this - any outdoor concrete or stone will accumulate dirt over the years and end up looking dark and dingy compared to when it was new. This works great to blast away that dirt and leave everything with a bright, new look. It's also great for the siding on the house or garage, to remove dirt and bird poop (and mold) etc. Being in Minnesota, I also use it to clean the salt off the underside of the car in the spring. And, because they put both sand and salt on the roads in the winter, we end up with quite a bit of it on the garage floor in the spring. You can sweep it up, but the sand can be extremely fine and no matter how many times you sweep, there's still some left behind. This works great for cleaning up all of that stuff, as well as removing old stains off the garage floor. In the lawn and garden, I use it to blast away the grass which accumulates under the the lawn mower, as well as clean the dirt off the garden tiller. It's also great for cleaning shovels, hoes, etc. And last but not least, it's the perfect tool to blast out those stinky garbage cans and remove every bit of whatever mysterious substance was causing the problem. Overall I'm extremely happy with this unit. It's fairly compact and doesn't take up too much room in the garage, and as I've said there are a multitude of uses for it.

I have a Campbell Hausfield 1700 psi electric power washer and this washer is much higher quality. The spray wand on my Cambell Hausefield had to be replaced after two years because it is made of plastic, cracked and began to leak. The SunJoe spray wand is steel with a plastic handle. Spray pressure is adjusted by using color coded nozzles - not by an annoying twist adjuster. The nozzles go from wide, low pressure to narrow high, pressure. All the pressure fittings are metal. The water intake fitting is a press-fit type with a strong, reinforced threaded turning knob. This fitting often leaks on power washers, but I saw no leaking here. In fact, my guess is that most of the plastic used on the SunJoe at critical the wear points are glass reinforced which is very strong. The motor is quiet by power washer standards and goes on and off as needed. The high pressure hose is some sort of reinforced rubber - not just rubber as on cheaper washers. The power washer is heavy, and this is due to the large 14.5 amp motor. The extra power- approaching the power of gas models, is great since you can get a wider area of spray at higher pressure (great for dirty concrete). The included cord is 35 feet long and you can optionally use a 14 gauge (or lower) extension cord (there is a length restriction of 25 feet on the extension cord). There are two soap dispensers, but I find soap to be not very useful over just plain water washing. Instructions are thorough and easy to follow. I would buy this power washer.

If you are a homeowner, a pressure washer is a real necessity. I had a gas-powered pressure washer but since I only use the pressure washer 2 or 3 times a year, maintaining a gas powered one is a real pain. Plus, the noise of a gas engine can be a bit annoying. The Sun Joe 2800 PSI electric pressure washer is a much better machine for me than the slightly more powerful gas powered one. It is also a lot quitter than a gas powered one. The assembly instructions were not really that clear but I was able to figure everything out and it only took about 10 minutes to assemble. It is well designed with good storage place for the extension wand, the power cord and the high-pressure hose. There are individual slots on the back of the handle for the five different nozzles. For my intended usage, this is an ideal pressure washer. I’m not sure how good it would be in a high use operation. There are five separate nozzles for different operations. It will deliver a very tight, high pressure stream or a wide-angle spray depending on your particular need. The hose and wand all fit securely and there were no leaks. The motor automatically cuts off when the maximum pressure is reached and will resume as needed. The electric cord is heavy duty, well wrapped. There is CFCI protection with a test and reset button on the connection switch. The unit is compact – has a small footprint so it does not take up excess room in the garage. It should be stored in the garage. The unit has large wheels which makes it easy to move around on the job. Again, this is a great unit for the occasional use around the house.

Decided to upgrade my pressure washer and since I loved the Sun Joe SPX3000 decided to get the upgraded model. So far only used it for light cleaning duties and took the dirt away with ease. Waiting to see what the unit can do against the heavy duty problems.

If you're going to compare this to a $400+ Honda powered gas unit, you're going to be disappointed. Units at that price point are going to have commercial components, and are built to be used all day for years. This unit, on the other hand, is about as 'high end' as you can get for an electric. There's nothing 'cheap' about the components, but it appears built for the ~couple of times a week, a few hour at a time~ duty cycle. This pressure washer gives you about as much power as you're going to wring out of a 120V outlet. Combine that with the effortless maintenance and the plug'n'squeeze easiness of getting going, and you've got a winner for most homes and small businesses. You could certainly get by with a less expensive unit from either SunJoe (Karcher is another great brand for these); as you really start to hit diminishing returns with electric pressure washers once you get close to $200. For this unit in particular, setup took about 5 minutes. Unpacking took the longest, and a few screws later you're ready to hook it up to the hose, plug'er in and get going. The included tips are great for specific jobs, (the same pressure and spray that's great for cleaning off concrete may also strip the paint right off of your house....). I didn't find anything to really complain about; it works exactly as advertised, does what it is supposed to do, when it's supposed to do it, and does it well.

I am admittedly not a power washer expert by any means, but my husband and I have had a gas-powered one for years that recently stopped working. We wanted to switch to electric since our gas washer was ridiculously loud and seemed to be out of gas every time we wanted to use it. We're pretty standard power washer users in that our main need for it is to clean the pollen and gunk off our deck. We also use it on our house, our grill, and our driveway. We initially didn't think electric would work as well as gas-powered, but this unit definitely proved us wrong! Setup was easy, even for a power washer novice like myself. I also really appreciated all the info. that came in the box as power washing can obviously be "dangerous" if not done correctly. The guide will help you determine what pressure to use where so you don't end up causing damage to your house/car. We washed our deck in record time and were thrilled with how "new" it looked. And also how much quieter it is than our gas-powered washer. One negative to electric washers is that you have to keep them plugged in; we're lucky to live in a house that has quite a few outdoor outlets, but this is definitely something to be aware of if you don't. The power cord on this unit is quite long (34 feet), which is great. Since we're only using this unit for smaller jobs around our house, this is perfect for us. I know power washers come in all different powers, price points, etc. and like I said, I'm not an expert (I only have experience with this one and our old gas-powered one), but I can say that this one is really easy to use and gets household jobs done quickly for a price that seems right!

I have never used a pressure washer before so this was my first time getting started with one. Out of the box, you've got instructions in 3 languages, 5 attachments for the nozzle, a hose and the main unit. You've got a little bit of work before you can get started. You've got to screw down 6 screws to attach the nose nozzle, the handle, the detergent attachment. That was fairly straight forward. One of the attachments doesn't connect all that well. You're supposed to snap it into the base and then screw it down. Good luck getting that one to snap in. Or maybe it's me. Regardless, it still was stable and sturdy. Beyond that, I just plugged the hose in, the power and the water supply and was off to the races. It's not that noisy when it's on. And the hose was plenty long enough in my opinion. I can see that it's not the easiest thing to use. Every time you move to a new site, you need to worry about water, power and the hose. So you've definitely got to plan out where you're going to work. If you were using a pure gas unit, you would only need to worry about the water supply. I tried this out on some very tough adhesive in the garage. It was unable to get it up but was able to blast dirt off of brick. I can see that it's going to be a very good home unit. I don't think it would be something I'd use if I needed a commercial unit. But for the price, it's a very solid unit. The only thing I did notice and I'm not sure that it's an issue is that the hose adapter is plastic. I wish it were metal just to be safe.

If it will continue working as it did in the first run. I'll be rally happy. Works well.

We have had several electric and gas power washers. The Sun Joe SPX3000-MAX 2800 MAX PSI 1.30 GPM Brushless Induction Power Washer is as good, or better than any of the electric power washers we have owned. We now have a gas washer, and I always thought that a gas washer would be a bigger hassle than an electric washer, but pressure washers or pressure sprayers are almost backwards in that respect. What I mean by that is my electric leaf blower and my electric edgers are much less hassle to use than my gas versions of the same tools. But with pressure washers, the electric is almost harder to use. It is noisier and weaker and just ends up being more trouble most of the time. The Sun Joe SPX3000 is about as good as it gets for an electric sprayer and if you aren't ready to shell out the coin for a gas powered pressure washer, this is the one I would recommend getting. I would literally recommend this to my family members or friends who were shopping for an electric power sprayer. It comes with a nice selection of heads, it is very easy to use and so far we have had no mechanical problems with it at all, UNLIKE some of the other brands we have dealt with from big box stores, that have needed costly repairs. It is a nice looking sprayer and Sun Joe seems to make some good quality equipment, so I have no problem recommending this power washer. I would recommend it highly. I think it is important for fellow shoppers on Amazon to look out for one another by letting each other know if a product is good, or if it is a stinker. I promise, this product is not a stinker - I really like it a lot!!! I take reviewing very seriously and try to be helpful. Thank you!
