LOVE this ice maker! I drink everything on ice, but don’t have an ice maker in my freezer. We use this about every other day. The ice is a great size. I use distilled water as I don’t like the taste from our faucet and there is no taste to my ice.

I bought this for our basement and parties. It makes ice fast. It can use any kind of water but I just keep a gallon jug beside it and fill it as needed. The ice comes in 2 different sizes. The machine is light enough and doesn't take a lot of room. It doesn't keep the ice frozen but as it melts the water is recycled into new ice. It says it makes 26 pounds in 24 hours I'm pretty sure it could the way it spits them out. It's fairly quiet, I mean you can hear the ice drop into the basket and the hum of the motor. The ice scoop is super cute and small. I would buy again.

I was surprised that this ice maker takes up little counter space. I have had other ice makers and this one is the most compact without compromising ice production.

2 year old refrigerator and the ice maker keeps freezing up. I'm done with it. Purchased this countertop ice maker and we LOVE it. Even bought the ice bags to go with it and we fill one up and turn off the machine. Ice cubes are great. They do tend to freeze together since they are wet when you get the cubes but a few wacks on the ground and they break up easily.

This thing is awesome. It's perfect if you have guests over and find yourself in a pinch. It uses about the same electricity as 2 old style light bulbs. The way it works is that you put the water into a bin which sits underneath the ice storage. When it cycles, it moves water into an elevated tray, then some metal rods are dipped into the little water tray. The rods are super-cooled and after a few minutes you have ice around the big rods. Next the water tray is moved and the rods are heated up, causing the ice cubes to fall off the rods into a holding area. Then there's a plastic piece that shoves the cubes from the holding area into the cube storage bin, which is right above the main water storage are, so if you leave it alone or forget about it, the cubes will melt right back into the water storage area. The cube storage area is not cooled, so don't expect the cubes to just stay frozen indefinitely. It's not that noisy and is about as loud as one of those personal fans. We make a few batches and save the cubes in our freezer as they are made. So far so good.

We bought this to take in our camper with us so we always had fresh ice for drinks. It arrived in a timely manner and with no issues. I did and started it up and was a no time we had ice seems to be working fine if anything changes I will do an update to this post.

Just moved into an apartment after downsizing (empty nester) and left my ice making fridge with the house I sold. Totally forgot the inconvienece of apartments NOT having fridges with Ice makers. WTH? Oh well (eye rolls). I have always found the traditional little ice trays annoying and cumbersome - and again, ANNOYING! Years ago I rented and would buy probably 4 bags of ice a week - and at anywhere from $1.50 to 2.50 a 7lb (lets average that to $2.00 a bag)… that's $8.00 a week in Ice... $8 a week times 52 weeks = $416 a freaking YEAR!! in ICE!!! Wish I had done that math then and knew this sort of machine even existed!! I did this for 5 years!! Im totally kicking myself now and totally not - NOT doing that math - ugh, I did and now I have to acknowledge Im just a stupid person. This is really a neat machine. The ice is SMALL - yeah, it says you can have 'small', or 'large' size, but the LARGE size is still tiny. BUT - I can easily turn this on for the evening and before bed have several pounds of ice! Questions I had when I bought it.... * tabletop machine, does not hook up to any direct water source. You pour the water into the trough and then it pulls from that source * How do you drain? Under the front end of the machine is a plug, much like a swimming pool float - only its a heavy duty plastic plug. I just fumble around and feel the location of the hole and either pull the plug or close it. Water drains fast. I recommend so that it dries machine guts out while you aren't making ice. **** Recommendation: when you drain it and leave it to dry out for a night, leave it over the corner of the sink, so that way when you go to push it out of the way, you also remember to plug it back up. I have had water all over the counter because I forgot to replug it after letting it dry out. Leaving it over the sink reminds you that it had been draining/drying. Totally recommend!!! A great purchase!

This is my second one. I have one at the lake house on the screen porch. It has worked through 3 hot summers and is still going. When my ice maker at home went out, I bought another one to keep at home. Highly recommend.

So my brand new refrigerator can't make ice as good as this can. I have had it for a while and I have learned some valuable information that I think you should know about. Makes a lot of really good tasting ice I do not recommend that you power off your machine to add water because when I did that the ice maker started making the tiniest cubes ever they looked like little buttons. So I almost gave up when I decided to add water while the machine is still on and now the ice is perfect. I haven't had to go to Dunkin Donuts for an iced coffee since I got this and it has been a month.

Love the ice maker, it can make a lot of ice in a short time. Sent one to our daughter and son-in-law for Christmas and they love theirs too.
