I have at least 50 Evil Energy fittings... Not a single leak, defect or issue yet. Using 4an, 6an, 8an, and 12an sizes. Running air, oil, coolant, and power steering fluid with these and braided stainless hose. Quit debating brands, this one for fittings. For install a solid/thin tape on the hose for keeping the fray in check during cutting with a die grinder or Dremel cut wheel. Blow out the hose with compressed air there will be rubber bits in it. A bit of water based assembly lube helps the fitting parts together on the hose end. Steel crescent wrenches can be used if you don't mind marring the aluminum fitting finishes a bit. I really regret not buying a pair of AN wrenches though.

Good fitting for the money

I run a race fabrication shop and have installed thousands of AN fittings (not an exaggeration) these fittings are decent quality and have a few features that really make them in some ways better than many fittings we have used. The reverse threads on the sleeve help keep the line from backing out while assembling the fitting. I had no issues using these fittings with two different brands of AN hose.

Good value, good quality, no leaks.

I was a little worried, I've used good quality brand name fittings before, and decided to give these a try, knowing they could be a pain. But to my happy surprise they went on without any issues. They have a threaded portion for the OD of the hose so you can only twist the hose in one direction, but that worked good. They tightened up well, and haven't leaked a drop. I would buy these again for sure!

Great value for the money

These Evil Energy fittings are great value for the money. I used these -6 hose ends to replace some cheap Chinese fittings that leaked. No leaks now. I have since ordered an Evil Energy -10 kit with nylon braided hose and a bunch of fittings which were all great quality too.

These evil energy hose ends are great quality for the price. I have been using AN fittings for the last 30+ years and these work as well as the name brands costing 3X more. Probably because I think the name brands are made off shore now also.
