Good product with 20 ft. long wire to reach the Ring device.

Works great for ring doorbell2

Was in search for a transformer for my ring doorbell2. I was getting tired of switching out the battery. I even purchase the solar panel for the ring doorbell2 but bare kept it charging. Now it is at 100 percent all the time plus it capture people's motion quicker. Since it is plug in and not just power by the battery.

Works as advertised. Using it for my Ring Doorbell Pro, no issues so far. Very long cord which helps with figuring out where to install it. Satisfied.

No need to charge battery

This is the second such adapter I have purchased as the first is doing a great job. Love this, it is the perfect solution to not having to charge my battery, I have tried other options such as the solar panel, which by the way does not work well at all. Taking the battery out and charging got tiresome, plus when charging the battery, I dont have the ring working so I cannot monitor the house. This adapter option is the best, my battery is always at full charge as it provides continuous charging. It installs very easily, just attach the ends of the adapter cord to the 2 screws on the back of the ring doorbell, reattach to the wall, run the line as shown in my pictures, and plug it in. The cord is long enough (26 feet) to reach an outlet if one is not near, my outlet is attached to my porch light.

Works great but please note that you have to keep battery installed.

Lifesaver if you don’t have doorbell power!

Worked great on my Ring 1 doorbell and now works great on my Nest Hello. nice long cord that I was able to trim to length and looks great. I hot glued it to my door trim and it is very inconspicuous. Saved me from running doorbell power and now when I need to take down the doorbell all I need to do is unplug this adapter instead of turning off a breaker and having to reset all my clocks lol

Great power adapter

Great deal....works great and has enough length to reach any outlet...(i ran this along the lower mouldings and up the door frame then through the wall out to my original ring door bell and still had about 5 feet of cord left over).

It works!

My ring 2 doorbell app indicates "hardwired" when this charger is attached. The battery hovers around 90% which is fine by me. The cord is extra long which is also good.

Works great!

Once it's installed the Ring doorbell app says it's hard wired. What I didn't know is when your Doorbell camera is hardwired the ring is lit up white at night making it easier to spot in the dark either for expected visitors or thieves scouting your home :)

The charger may be ok but the wire is too thin!

I installed it the power adapter a few weeks ago. This adapter powers the Ring door bell. The charger keeps the ring LEDs on all the time. Hopefully the charger will last for some time. The connecting wire attached to the adapter appears thin and flimsy. May be that is all what is needed. However for a length of 25 feet I expected something better, similar to BELL wire which is of much better quality. (About 20 cents a foot from Lowes). I used it for most of the run and connected it to the power adapter, discarding about 20 feet of the attached wire. So far the set up has done well Update: This is an update to my review above. The customer service of this seller has been excellent. The company emailed me promptly and informed me that the above comment is being forwarded to the manufacturer. They also offered a refund in an earlier email. The product works great and I communicated to them that this was my personal observation about the product and may not have any impact on how the product performs. I also informed them that there is no need for a refund.
