WiFi extender

I’m impressed. I was thinking because I live near a dam that there was no way this would work. An it surprised my expectations. I have a standard ranch house my router is at one end and I have this located in a bedroom at the other end. Due to the dam we have bad reception hear. Have tried micro tower from att but that’s useless if your using WiFi in your home. Before radio shack closed I purchased the largest netgear I could buy. Still bad reception. Between the roku, cellphones, and computer everything was constantly waiting to get on line. Now with this WiFi extender I get reception in my basement, out in my barn, even in my car (in my driveway of course). They only thing that is a downside is when you are near the extender you have to swap-out from your house WiFi to wireless-n. But when you first get it you have to down load and connect it to your router. After that you just click on wireless-n an you piggyback off your netgear or which brand you use. Definitely worth the price. Would make a great Christmas present for your kids if they have problems with connection with WiFi.

Work well

I live in a large apartment, the modem is in my bedroom and the signal in the living room is strong enough to be reliable so use an extender. When the one I have had for a few years died, I ordered this one to take its place. There were many to choose from, but I chose this one because is a brand I trust. The extender was easy to install and was soon up and running. I now have a very strong signal in the living room and throughout the apartment. Based on my experience, I recommend this extender.

Exactly what I needed. No more weak signal.

Had to use YouTube to help set up but once I watched a tutorial, it made sense and was easy. Couldn’t watch Netflix and Vudu in my bedroom due to my Wi-Fi signal being weak. Since setting up the extender, my signal has not failed even once. :)

Pros: -Easy set up -Small and Compact -Boost my wifi to my bedroom Before i bought and installing it, the wifi signal in the far end of my bedroom was so weak, i lost patience cause the videos and Netflix would drop or buffer constantly. Since installing the extender, I have not had that issue a single time. Occasionally the amber or red signal comes on telling me the extender is too far from the router, but even when that occurs I'm still getting a strong enough signal to stream video successfully. Good product.

A signal booster and strong...

I was badly in a need of a WiFi Range extender/booster- for my 2 storey house,where there are some dead spots especially on 2nd floor. This product is easy to install, no wires- just plug it on socket and easy to use. It's efficent in reducing your dead spots, and i can see now- my media room has enough signals - which earlier were almost negligible. A word of caution, this product only works on 2.4 Ghz frequency, and not the fast bandwidth 5 Ghz. Luckily my router had both bands, but this is a slight drawback for ppl- whose modem supports only 5 ghz. I liked its encryption security feature, and using WPS- it gives peace of mind- if the transmission needs to be secured. Overall it's working good for me - until now, am happy .

For the price you can’t beat this Wi-Fi extender solution

Once you understand the setup. It is pretty simple. I had to press the reset button because the administration login was not available. That happens if the device is already configured as a Wi-Fi extender for another network, which is not clear in the instructions. After logging in setting up as Wi-Fi extender to my home Wi-Fi. I lost the administration page to configure the Wi-Fi-extender, but the good thing was now I could connect my phone to the extender Wi-Fi using my home Wi-Fi password. I am now able to get strong signal throughout my whole house.

3 minute set up...

I have a dead spot in my condo upstairs due to the router being located downstairs. This unit is dual functionality - a repeater (wireless), or an access point (wired). I set mine up as a repeater at the foot of my staircase. Viola! Dead spot upstairs is gone. I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Best wifi extender

This router extension is great. It's easy to set up. And it really helps my reception on my WiFi. This awesome extender looked that it would dramatically improve the performance of wifi deficiencies in my house. It covers more area than my last extender did with the wireless network. Now it never drops and plays videos without any problems. I bought this extender to improve the range of my existing router. The guide to set up the extender is pretty easy to follow.

The problem with having a large house is I don’t get to have a strong enough signal to some parts of the house, or none at all. I have been struggling with staying connected while in house, my modem is located in the living room downstairs and staying connected while in the bedrooms upstairs is extremely difficult. A friend of mine has this in his house and I wanted one, he showed me the link to this product, I am happy with the purchase, staying in bed with the phone writing this review HaHa.
