Multiple uses!

Originally I bought the sun shade for my car. As soon as I saw how big they were I decided to try it for the window in my room. I work 12 hour nights and is perfect! It gives me the flexibility of having light or darkness whenever I want. It's easy to put away in the pouch it came with and doesn't take up much space at all in my bookcase. I love to have natural light when I'm awake. I also have white blinds and didn't want to buy black out curtains because they're dark and make the room look smaller. I'm ordering another set for my car.

Great Value! Look No further!

For the price, it is a great value! I was looking for a quality shade, but most I found online were in excess of $50 and up.If you want a good, inexpensive windshield shade look no further. I bought mine for a 2000 Chevy Silverado and was going to buy the large size. I ended up buying the medium size, and it fits nicely. A large would have been to big., Before you order, measure your windshield and check the dimensions on the shade you are considering. The storage bag included is nice, but honestly, I have never used it. The shipment also included a couple of adhesive no slip pads I have no idea how to use, but feel they are not needed.

Very Nice

They’re nice! I found them a bit fiddly at first, to get them positioned how I wanted in the car, but that’s because of me. I ordered the medium and they fit perfectly across the windshield. These are an essential if you live in Florida, as we’ve already had 90-plus days here! The car is noticeably cooler. I highly recommend.

So easy to use. Protects the car interior.

I have a Hyundai and these sunshade fit perfectly and do keep the temperature down. I live in Florida so it is hot outside. I love the 2 piece design. It takes a little practice to fold them up but after a couple tries I got it. I highly recommend these.

Nice quality

I bought this for my 2018 Honda Clarity. It is a little too small. I put them in vertical and they are just short (2 inches about) but with the visors down they work. I like the quality. I had some real jumbo ones from Walmart but they are so cheap and the springs are very flimsy. These are much nicer and the quality is so far above those. I have ordered another set from a different company that are a little larger. I will keep these as they do work quite well and because of the quality.

Perfect for keeping the hot sun rays out of our 2008 C-level camper

We wanted to reflect as much heat as we could from our C-level camper and these sun shades seem to work great. They fit almost perfectly between the curtain and the window; the wire spring border pops right into the window channels. On the road, they roll up into about 10" circle, only 1/8' wide, so they are easy to store. From the inside, you cannot see them behind the drawn curtains and from outside, it looks like we painted the window silver gray. The inside is dark on a hot day, but we switch out the 12 volt lights to LED, which really brightens it up (compared to the old bulbs). On the cold nights, the shades add a little layer of protection seems to be help keep the camper warmer and it keeps out the lights of passing cars or whatever. If we want to look out while eating or whatever, the pull out easy, roll up, and we only pick the windows with a view. Very happy with them.

11 January 2019 Best Windshield Shade Design but edge fabric not up to par

This is still a great product for shading passenger car dashboards while parked in the sun. Well-designed, well manufactured. It springs open and is easily inserted over the dashboard and behind the visors. Reflective on out-facing side and black on the in-facing side. Easy to twist and fold into a round package that fits snugly between the passenger seat and the center console. The above remains true to this date. However, in December I noticed that the metal spring surrounded by an edge seam of thin fabric was wearing through and the metal was sticking out on both left and right shades, as shown in the photo. I was not using these shades any differently from the nearly identical ones that had lasted for over five years previously. I can only hope that the manufacturer has heard of this problem from other customers and has worked to use a stronger, more friction-resistant fabric for the edge seam containing the spring wire.

Best front windshield screen I ever tried

Easy to place, and they stay in place. I donʻt have to lower the visors to anchor them like with other products. They do not smell like plastic or chemicals and they do not shed any residue (defects of other brands). They fill entire windshield, overlapping in the middle and keeping the car shaded and cool through our hot summer last year. Best screens I have ever used, and I have tried several different designs. The only defect is that they do not easily fold up to fit back into the sleeve they came in. However, they will fold in half and I tuck them behind the back seat where they stay put when not in use. Being folded does not seem to effect them, they spring right back to flat for use in the front window. Highly recommend.

a sunshade for your windshield that works

I recently bought a new car with no tinted windows. It has cream leather seats and black steering wheels, and I had no idea how useful tinted windows could be until I tried to sit down in the car on a very hot day. It took some time for me to touch the steering wheel and the seat felt like I was on fire. I went looking for sunshades and find Autoamerics. Perfect buy! I own a BMW X6 and needed a windshield sun shade for my car. I went with the two-piece windshield shade from Autoamerics, and the car is much cooler to get into it. The material looks to be of good quality. It’s easy to set up into place and fold when through using them. It also comes with a pouch for you to put the closed sunshades into. It was a bit unnerving trying to use them initially, but it’s second nature now. Bonus sticky gel pads are also very useful. I’m going to buy another set soon for the other vehicle in our household. You should too!
