Just what I needed

I used this MIDI to USB cable to hook an old CASIO CTK-620L to a laptop. It allows me use the keyboard with learning software like Flowkey, or other software that accepts MIDI input. The lights didn't factor into my decision to purchase, but they are useful under certain conditions. They blink when a signal is sent, so you can quickly tell if the cable is attached and working properly.

Well constructed and works serves its purpose

We needed this for use with a guitar to midi converter. Wasn't sure which one to pick from the various ones but this one was a very reasonable price and works very well.

Works with old keyboard and Logic Pro X

At first I thought I had a defective cable. It turns out the cables are labeled counter intuitively. The midi out on your keyboard plugs into the midi in labeled cable. Once I figured this out I was ready to rock. I was able to revive an old Yamaha ypt-220 keyboard to use with Logic Pro X, no drivers nessesary. If you have an old midi keyboard laying around I would recommend this product to reuse it and save yourself from buying a new one.

Works with an old Yamaha keyboard I found next to a dumpster, should work with anything!

Moved to a new apartment complex recently, perhaps residents aren't super tech savy. Found a Yamaha Protone keyboard propped next to a dumpster, decided to bring it inside and see if I could clean it up and use it. Best advice googling got me was not to take the keys off and clean the contacts, but to turn it over and smack the bottom in several places. Lo and behold, doing that and using my router's power supply, it worked. Bought this midi to USB cable the next day and now I'm using it as my main Midi instrument, thanks!

Simple to use: just plug it in

I purchased the WERSI USB MIDI cable for a short project and it performed well for me using Windows 10. There is a diagram and a couple of descriptive lines on the back of the box to show how to plug it in. That should be all you need to know. The unit takes care of the connection from there.

Works like a Charm

Have been wanting/needing a midi interface cable for my keyboard to my Mac. Previously, I had used Windows devices that were no longer compatible. This one worked perfectly connecting my old Peavy keyboard (over 20 years old) to my new iMac that I can now use to input into Finale or play with GarageBand, etc.

For Boss GT 8 Multi effects pedal

I have a Boss GT 8 that doesn't have USB capability to hook up to a PC to edit patches with, but this cable did the trick. However, there is one small problem. The midi-in / midi-out plugs on the cable should be labeled differently. The midi-out has to be plugged into the midi-in on the effects pedal and the midi-in has to be plugged into the midi-out for it to work. . . Seems counterintuitive. It works tho, and it solved a huge problem for me, so 5 stars.

Works great

I was cautious of paying for a 'cheap' midi interface for an old keyboard to a brand new (Mac) laptop but I took the plunge. This device worked without any hassles at all and it's performed flawlessly. It's great to bring an old keyboard back to life in a modern setup and I'm really pleased with this interface.
