We are moving to an apartment with no laundry facilities. I wanted something for small loads in between laundromat trips :) I work at a doggie daycare so my clothes get super nasty. I ordered some laundry strips and cut them into quarters and that works perfectly for a full load with my nasty clothes 😂 I do have to rinse 2 or 3 times, but if your clothes aren’t super dirty that shouldn’t be needed!

Very easy to assemble, convenient little unit that is also easy to fill, wash, and drain. Turning the handle to wash clothes is not difficult. Another plus is, it holds more clothes than I thought it would. I wash 3-4 blouses or shirts, a pair pj bottoms, socks, unmentionables all in one load, and even then it’s not completely full. One Minor con is mine is slow to drain but I can live with that. After all water is drained, I ring each piece in my sink and hang up to dry. I first used in in my Tub but hunching to crank it hurt my back, so I moved it to my bathroom counter. No hunching no back pain. Great deal for a compact little, hand crank washer! That holds quite a bit of laundry!

This will get your clothes cleaner than hand washing will. The rotation works on the same principle as a front-loading washer. It cranks easily, almost effortlessly. The trick is to turn it slowly. And yes, you should feel/hear the clothes dropping from one end to the other, just like they do in a front loader. I do find that, even using the recommended small amounts of detergent, at least several rinses are required. And you have to wring the clothes each time, so it's not totally effortless. One shortcut I've found is to do the first rinse in the Wonderwash, then wring the clothes and transfer them to the bathtub where there's a lot more water capacity. So there's still some "hand washing" work to be done. But even with that, it's a great thing to have since it cleans so thoroughly. It doesn't take up a lot of space, and it has an interesting design that looks kind of retro. It doesn't look bad sitting in a corner when I'm not using it. I use mine out on the porch where I can fill it up with the hose, but it would work just as well in the kitchen or bathroom.

I love this washer. I received it 2 weeks ago and have done 5 loads since. So far so good!

Lid a little tricky to get off but seals nicely when in use. Drainage tube a bit of a nuisance to put on and off. Otherwise works as advertised.

My husband and I travel a lot and were spending hundreds of dollars doing laundry. So one day I found this as a great alternative. It reminded me a lot of the one my grandmother used and was very user efficient. We have a two year old with special needs and very sensitive skin so it was perfect for quick washes with his clothes. It was great knowing exactly what was used detwegwnr-wise to avoid his allergies and he also loved to help do laundry for once. He was just mad I didn't get the blue one in his favorite color. :) We got the gorgeous, mint green one. It was very easy to put together. A 2 year old could crank it well. Also, at camp sites it drew a lot of attention and people were constantly asking where to get one. The only con is that nowhere on the instructions does it say don't use hot water. I usually don't for my clothes, but in a house of boys - it is sometimes needed. My husband and I burnt ourselves because the steam and hot water apparently broke the seal to the lid and water was everywhere. We couldn't get it to work after and had it a very short time. Luckily, the company who distributes the washer, The Laundry Alternative, was amazing. I emailed them immediately explaining what happened and they got back to me within hours explaining what happened and to send me a replacement device immediately. I'm currently awaiting my new device. In the mean time I have been using their Nina spin dryer which you should look up also. It's incredible how much water that machine gets out of your clothes. It was bigger and better than I thought it would be. We still have to hang our clothes for about 1 to 2 hours outside in the sun to get fully dry. These laundry alternatives are perfect for camping, RV-ing, and for military wifes/moms that are always on the move. I tried a combo, portable washer and dryer and it broke within hours. So lucky to have found this company.

I replaced my old, leaky washing machine with a Wonderwash a year ago and haven't had any problems with it. By using the Wonderwash, I save on both electricity and water. In addition, I find that I need to use only a drop of laundry detergent to get clothes clean. Plus, it's good--but not strenuous--exercise for the arms! I'm an older woman and don't have any difficulty turning the handle: 50x to wash, 50x to rinse.

05/01/19- This thing is amazing! I'm super excited to have gotten this today. I washed 5 loads of things. It was easy to set up and great for a workout. The base it's in seems a bit flimsy and not too sturdy but should work fine with proper use. It fits on my counter under my cabinet next to the sink which is really nice. I'll update as I use it more!

I got mine on Tuesday and just tried it out today. It works great and really got my small load of clothes clean! Very easy to assemble and it’s great for small spaces. I bought this mainly to clean my bras to prevent the hooks and underwire from becoming all bent out of shape. I used it outside so the water could drain into my yard but you can use this in a tub as well. Definitely worth the purchase! I did follow the recommendation of another user and just turned the handle at a steady pace to make sure the clothes got clean.
