A really cool trash can.

I am liking this trash can more everyday. I don't know about "odor elimination " but I don't remember any claim that it would do that. Taking out the trash might do the trick, however. If you walk too close to it the sensor will pick up the motion and the lid will pop open, which is ok. It is like having a genie in there who'll pop up and say Hi when you come to visit. Couple of seconds later she goes back inside. Who knew a trash can could be so much fun?

Hands full? Don’t worry it’s hands free!

What I don’t like is not the fault of the can or its design. People are so fascinated with and scared by it that they lift and shut the lid manually and sometimes with force causing issues with the mechanism. I’m on my third can in fifteen yrars. I recommend the design without the charcoal filter if your trash is full one or more times in a day.

If you have kids or a husband you need this!

I got this because it forces my kids and husband to interact with it to throw things away. Now there's no more chucking garbage and its general direction. Even my husband said he enjoys it using it and I enjoy not picking up garbage people didn't make in the can. I've always used bags larger than the can they go into, so that way people can't overfill it and it not be able to be tied and it works great with a larger bag.

We purchased the 13 gallon size for our kitchen. After viewing numerous others for 50-100% more money I was a bit skeptical. But, this can is attractive and could not perform any more efficiently. Note: I keep mine in a place with very little foot traffic. That is a must, to avoid opening and shutting it unnecessarily.

Great Product

I enjoy all of the benefits of this type of garbage container. I especially enjoy the terrific price. I've not had any problems with this container and instead have enjoyed its many politive features.

Better than I expected!

I love this trash can. It works really well (4 D batteries required) and is beyond convenient when cooking. My friends all want one too. In replacing the bag you just need to pay a little attention as the front of the trash can is slight smaller than the back as is the plastic ring. Those having problems probably didn’t realize. Once you do it’s very easy to replace bags!

Great price for auto-open trash can!

Love this trash can. We replaced a very old one very similar to this that we had had for years. Good size that fits in our pantry. We love the automatic open and when the old one finally died we couldn’t have anything less. Great price too!

I am so happy with this product. It fits so nicely in my small apartment kitchen .To me it’s an elegant garbage can. I would recommend it especially for seniors who suffer with hand problems.
