The Answer to My Prayers

awesome!!!!
I have spent a fortune replacing all of the little cords to my kindle, echo dot, and phone chargers. One of my cats cannot be deterred from chewing holes in every cord she can find no matter what. Until now. I put this on one cord to see how it works and found that she isn't as interested in the cord as she was previously. Now I just have to put it on every cord I can find to protect them and her. I will probably need to order another depending on how many I put it on but it will be worth it not having to replace my cords constantly. Not to mention how horrible it would be if she got hurt doing that. Also, cutting through the mesh to fit it to my cord was easy and accomplished with regular scissors. I definitely will buy again.

easy to install, hope it's effective
I have this in 3 different widths for chew-proofing the upstairs of our house, where our young house rabbit is allowed to free range. He has sometimes chewed power cords when bored and trying to get attention, so I've been installing this in every room. I have to take it on faith he's not chewing through it now (because it is just woven plastic with no metal as far as I can tell, and obviously chewing on plastic doesn't deter him-- but somehow based on reviews it seems the loomed "net" form of plastic is very undesirable to pets for chewing, and I'm assuming the same goes for him)! I don't see any signs of damage, like fraying, now. Very easy to cut to length, sear the ends, and install. I have no idea why one reviewer needed a tiny shoe horn?? In my experience, just slide the power cord into the slit, then begin to "roll" and slide the cord a bit and it will work its way into the inner fold so it is fully enclosed in a tube of protective sleeve.

Organized!
Pictures speaks for itself! I previously used a zippered neoprene cable sleeve which was also pretty awesome and a bit easier to use although this took a bit more time to organize it is a lot more versatile than what I was using previously. You can cut it to whatever length you need as you can see I cut a small section to go to the speaker, then another small to go from that box with the power to the computer. It didn't fray or anything. so wasn't messy nor did I need to clean anything up. Also holds quite a bit of cable. 1 speaker, 1 keyboard, 1 mouse, 2x monitor's power and hdmi cables Highly recommended!

Re-loomed all my engine bay wiring with these. No melting or abraiding after 1000 miles. Makes for a beautifully clean bay.

Perfect!!!
This stuff is exactly what I needed to cover some multi colored wires in my gaming PC. I used it in several places to help match the texture of some of the other cables (see the first image, it's used on the 2 cables in the center of the picture, second picture it's used on the cable tucked in the edge of the PC case). This stuff is seems very durable and was slightly difficult to cut (but that's the trade off for the good durability) and it's slightly difficult to install over a wire but that's because of its tension keeping it in a cylinder shape (but this again is the trade off for asking it to securely hold wires and look great when your done installing it). After cutting it, I singed the end slightly with a lighter. I wouldn't change a thing about this product. Including the price. I will be suggesting this to everyone, and I will be purchasing again. WHAT AN AWESOME PRODUCT!!

We defeated the ferocious playful kittens with this!
My daughter adopted two wonderful rescue kittens. However being kittens they liked to play and chew, including phone charging cords, power cords, you name it. while we kitten-proofed the the easy things like lamp power cords by just taping them up and securing them, we could not find an option for some things that needed to lay round like a phone charging cable. this did the trick. However, we did discover that if the cats figure out how to pull the power plug from the back of the automatic cat feeder, they can then slide this off the cord. a simple zip tie over this at the end of the cord solved that. luckily they just played with this after it came off. This is must have if you have chewers in the house!

I Like It
The sleeve is as expected, good, soft, and curls tightly. If you are not sure about the size, here it is: I have a cable slightly more than 1/4" in diameter. It's diameter, not radius, not circumference, not flatted tube width (which is half of the circumference). I purchased 1/4" sleeve. I managed to get the cable into the sleeve, and it fits snugly. I conclude that the size means the inner diameter of an empty sleeve.

Keeps my cat from chewing through cords!
So I have one of those cats who chew on electrical cords. I can't begin to tell you how many cords she has chewed through--alarm clocks, lamps, and all of the charging cords for our phones. I was pretty sure I'd find her fried one day (much like Aunt Bethany's cat did in the National Lampoon's Christmas vacation movie). I tried the sprays made for chewing and those seemed to make her chew more. I bought braided charging cables for our phones. But I was hoping for ANY kind of help to get her to stop chewing and then I came across these sleeves. These sleeves are easy to install and can usually wrap around more than one cord at a time, which is helpful for the tv equipment (cable box and dvd player). Just open the sleeve and slide the cords inside. So far, knock on wood, my cat hasn't chewed any cords since I encased everything in these sleeves! Be sure to have scissors available for install, since you can cut these to any length you want. I've purchased this same item twice, to outfit all of the exposed cords I could find! UPDATE May 2019: I have bought these sleeves twice now and have them on all of my lamps, the tv, and any other exposed cords you can think of. So far, so good! They are working to protect my cords and protect this crazy cat.

perfect cord protector, keep my cat from chewing cords
My cat like chewing electrical cords. In the past 2 years, I have tried several products to cover cords. But nothing seems can stop my kitten chewing them. What I most worried is that my kitten will get an electric shock when chewing cords. A few days ago I found this product. My cord is flexible after I install the protector. At the beginning my cat tried to chew, but she can not chew through the cord protector. She had to give up. Seems like my cat lost interest in chewing my cords. Wow, I win. What a great cord protector. I should have it earlier
