works great and stylish

not cheap, but nice design and function for the surface pro.

Good quality

This item is pricey, but works well. The Surface dock from Mocrosoft costs half as much. At work, we use MS Surface, and they're paranoid about ethics, even at the "possible appearance" of violations. So I didn't want a MS dock like the ones at work for my personal Surface Pro. I need lots of USB. The Kensington offers what I need, plus the ability to tilt the tablet at a better angle is something I don't get with the MS dock. This dock is great quality.

Worth the money.

The steep price makes most people avoid this product. But if you're getting surface gear this is understandable. Right away this device impressed, no problems right out of the box and I love every moment with it. I connected this to two external monitors and they look amazing without lag. I use a Bluetooth keyboard, mouse, and speaker, they all auto connect with locking my pro 6 into the kennsington dock

Get product but expensive

I bought this for my girlfriend because she works from home and uses her Surface Pro 4 as her computer. This thing is built to last, it has a nice weight to it. Plenty of ports for any user. It even tells you what kind of lock to get to secure your base and computer. Over all I love everything about this but the price. If it was a little cheaper I would by myself one for my surface pro. If you're on the fence about this yo get off spend the money and you will not be disappointed.

Turns your Surface into a desktop

I have a Surface Pro 6 that is quickly become my replacement laptop as well as replaced my android tablet (with use of emulator). In a move to own less stuff and get rid of an aging desktop, I purchased this to make the Surface fill yet another role. The power and connections all in back make for a clean look, no wires across the desk or hanging off the side of the tablet. If the Surface itself was a little bigger I could see this as a stand alone desktop replacement but with a cheap separate monitor you get a full desktop feel. Was it expensive? Yes. Did it allow me to avoid spending money to replace an aging desktop? Yes.

PRODUCTIVITY has jumped by leaps and bounds!!!

This unit is as advertised - Its saved me from buying a home computer and the ability to hook up two screens has made my business take off. A lot of money but glad I bought it!

This is Awesome

As a Project Manager this stand turns my tablet into a computer with a second screen. No transferring file. I work on my projects on the go and being able come home and work on the spreadsheets just by placing it on the stand is great.
