As usual with Benchmark FR products, the design on this neck gaiter is awesome. The manufactering quality is great and comfortable and the skull design is simply bad ass. I can always safely and confidently recommend Benchmark FR products to my co-workers. Benchmark FR makes safety cool -- many of their products are always great conversation starters which always dovetail into some discussion about job site safety. This is a great item for safety give-aways, ideal for anyone working oil and gas, linemen, welders, electricians.

Works well for Naval Aviation.

So far, these work very well on aircraft carriers. Takes a lot of use before needing to wash, and dispels heat from the engines of an F/A-18 Super Hornet so well that I could almost walk right through the jet blast if it wasn't also trying to knock me off my feet. Haven't had the chance to test it's FR abilities on the flight deck, (hopefully never will) but as soon as I do, I'll update this review with the results. I own four of these facemasks now, couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thanks, Benchmark!

The product itself is great. I work in industry where FR clothing is required. The neck gaiter itself started to weaken at the seam, but I called BenchMark and within minutes, they were processing a replacement for me. Excellent customer service, and you should note that if you have an issue with any BenchMark item, customer service will help you out and take care of the issue.

Light & sturdy

BENCHMARK FR Flame Resistant Face Mask Neck Gaiter, USA Made, 6.4 Cal, Lightweight, Soft FRC I bought this for work - tree work along lines - and it has been terrific. I've been wearing it regularly for the past couple weeks. The fit is snug around my nose, not tight though, so it doesn't slide down & it's kept the dust out of my mouth. The neck area is looser & not restrictive when I move, it doesn't get caught up & twisted. It's comfortable to wear right out of the box & the stitching doesn't get in the way of other PPE. Compared to other PPE face products I've used this is the winner. I was the tester for this and now we're going to order more for the rest of the crew. I've worn it a couple days/week, most of the day each time. There is good 4-way elasticity, the fit is far superior to a bandana from a comfort stand point. I has not stretched out. The fit is snug, not tight or restrictive, around my nose and gradually expands (gets looser) and it approaches my neck. I notice it when I first put goggles on but it doesn't get in the way. I don't have any issue breathing when wearing it. I wash mine every other day or whenever I have a chance which sometimes means dunking it in a bucket of water every so often & it has not loosened up. The graphics on the front still look great. There are stains on it from sap & chainsaw oil but the graphics are going strong.

Great for welding

Exactly what I need for overhead welding and it keeps my face and neck from being burnt. Highly recommended to all welder out in the field

Benchmark from now on!

I’ve worn many of these things over the years. This is by far the most comfortable and breathable of them all. My safety glasses usually fog up when I wear these types of things but these seemed alright. And it’s flame resistant?! Badass! Looks cool too. I’ll be going to theses guys for this type of stuff from now on.

Fire resistant Not

Completely useless product. Got it, put a lighter to it and instantly it started burning up in under 2 seconds , gave a 5 star to make sure my comment is read

Love It!

Love the quality, It feels cooler than I've expected. Amazing quality, I can't tell it's FR Clothing due to the cotton material that they've made. I can't wait for the summer season here in Saudi Arabia. looking forward to buying it again. Soon I will post my picture wearing this Item.

Saved my neck!

Really stoked on this gator. Being an electrician turned welder, I am pretty used to getting blasted by sparks, spatter and bright light. Not today! Didn't smell my beard burning either! Seriously great product here and I will definitely be buying more gear from these cats!
