This is not a paid promotion. I am not paid to write reviews, in fact I rarely if ever write reviews, but this device compelled me to pick up my iPad and share this goodness with the world. This appliance is absolutely unequivocally hands down a must have for every kitchen. It’s fast, it’s versatile, the food is delicious and the cleanup is a breeze. We have had everything from potatoes to pork steak and just about everything you can think of in between....pot roasts, lamb, quail, chicken, pork chops and the list goes on and on.... If you don’t have it, stop thinking, stop researching ...go get it.

I had an instant pot and didn't NEED this, but it was on sale so I figured I'd try it out. In the two weeks I've had it I've made jerky with the dehydrator function, chicken nuggets and hamburger patties with the air crisp function, and chili with the pressure function. All of it came out delicious and this thing is so simple to use. People say the air fryer lid being always on is a pain, and it can be, but I did not find it to be in my way at all. Personal preference I guess, and something you'll hafta decide for yourself. The buttons are self explanatory and it even has a small cookbook with times/weights/recipes/functions and so on to make a few dishes to acquaint yourself with the Foodi. If you have an instant pot and an air fryer and don't NEED this then wait for it to be on sale before you pick it up. But if you're in the market for a pressure cooker/air fryer and are small on space and wanna have everything in one convenient machine, then I say it's a must buy, IMO.

Where to start............ Physical size of the unit (external): The unit it self is large, the crisping lid being always attached is a bit annoying but I understand way they had to do it. I does need to be pulled out from under the cabinet to open. It is best to be used on the island or table where no upper cabinets are present. Physical size of the unit (internal): The Instant-pot part is great, the 8 qt is nice and big. It's likely more than I really need, but nice just in case. The air fryer part is still not as big as I would like but it works for our family. Functions: Pressure cooker/Steamer/rice cooker/dehydrator/Air fryer (You need an air fryer) This thing does it all, and it does it all very well. I often find myself wanting to use it for too many things at one time. The buttons are easy to use and the screen is easy to understand. No funky colored lights or weird settings. No multiple button presses to cycle through settings, etc. Very well done. Finishes (Exterior): It's sexy looking, but the black plastic shows scratches, so be very careful. Buttons seem solid. I'm hoping there is a lot of life in this machine. Finishes (Interior): Again seems to be made very well. They pot seems to be a pretty thick ceramic coating, but again for the longevity of the product I'd suggest using plastic everything! or silicone coated utensils. Features: Pressure cooker: Great! Steamer: Great! Rice Cooker: Great! Dehydrator: I haven't used it yet, but I'm assuming that it will work just as great as all of the other features. Air Fryer: This thing is amazing. We made the Carnitas the first night we had the machine and it was amazing! The recipe called for it be pressure cooked and then finished off with the air fryer. It was amazing! The problem I've had in the past with pressure cookers that the food lacks texture. No crisp on the skin. The Foodi solves this! The pork browned up and char'ed the tips perfectly. Overall: It's not perfect, it's a little big, a little chunky, a little loud, but in features and function it's absolutely amazing!!!!! I can't explain enough why this thing is so great. Just as a simple example, my son wanted "Dino nuggets" for dinner the other night and we typically cook them in the oven, they take about 30 minutes to pre-heat the oven and cook. I threw them in the Foodi and 12 minutes later they were done and crispy all of the way around. I tasted one and it was actually really good! My son (5 y/o) said I have to cook them like that for now on.

I have several pressure cookers. 2 @ 10 qt Pressure Cooker XLs, a Gowise 14 qt pressure cooker, and an 8 qt Instant Pot. I cook for large crowds on the patio during the summers. The problem with pressure cookers is that meat always emerges pale and unappealing. Everything has to be browned in a hot oven which means it has to be transported back and forth. The Ninja Foodi solves the problem. When the pressure cooking is over, the meat remains in the pot. You drop the Crisp Fryer lid and brown the meat with your favorite sauce or rub. My favorite is Baby Back Ribs. Two racks of ribs are cut into 2 rib sections and doused with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. A cup of apple juice. Pressure cook for 25 minutes on HI. Remove ribs, discard liquid, clean pot and douse ribs again with BBQ sauce. Return to pot, drop the Crisp Fryer lid and crisp for 10 minutes, checking after 5 minutes to see if the BBQ sauce is starting to char and caramelize. Remove the pot, put ribs in serving dish and serve. They come out perfect every time. I call it "No Brainer Ribs"! Clean up is a snap. My only complaint is that I wish the Ninja Foodi came in larger sizes. I have the 8 qt size, which is the largest, but I'd like either a 12 QT or 14 QT size. I can cook 5 racks of baby back ribs in my Gowise 14 Qt pressure cooker but then I have to put it in an oven to caramelize the BBQ sauce. If you're in the market for an all purpose pressure cooker, slow cooker buy this Ninja Foodi. You won't regret it. You'll need a couple of accessories. Non-stick utensils to protect the non-stick coating in the pot. And one of the quilted covers with a separate pocket for the pressure lid sitting on top. This makes storage easy and uncluttered.

Love this thing. Broke it in with steak and roasted Brussels sprouts and had the best meal. Have made chicken, pork loin, meatloaf, bacon, eggs, burgers in it. I am terrible at cooking and hate cleaning up. We haven't been to chipotle since we bought this. Get the 8 quart.

The only thing I wish is that it was bigger. It is easy to use and clean. The settings seem easy to use with a little reading I was able to use all the features. I am still learning how long it takes to cook things so I stick to the recipes pretty much but I plan on making ribs this weekend and it really is way faster than on the grill or slow cooker.

Have cooked alot in the foodi so far and everything has come out FANTASTIC. It has also replaced other tools I had in my kitchen so I was able to declutter my kitchen a litte because of the foodis versatility. The one negative is that it is very heavy.

I love my Ninja Foodi; I have the 8 quart version, and there really has been few days gone by since I bought it that I didn't use it to try out its features. It truly is a useful and versatile appliance; I won't try to review it further since there are so many glowing reviews both here and on You-Tube, etc. that explain and praise it much better that I can. I will just say that I have not been disappointed with anything for which I have used it. I also have the 6 quart Instant Pot; although I have read of many IP users who say they will get rid of their IPs after purchasing the Ninja, I am keeping mine. The Instant Pot may not do as many things as the Ninja Foodi, but what it does, it does very well.

This 8 quart capacity does exactly what the manufacturer says it will do. Really love it. Purchased some extra accessories along with it also and they all work great. A friend at work was talking about their air fryer they bought and how much they liked it so I decided to purchase one also but I first read a lot of reviews and I decided to go with the combo, pressure cooker and air fryer together. I watched a lot of video reviews on the internet and decided on this one, but as the saying goes, each to their own as to what they want. To me it saves counter space instead of having two separate items, an air fryer and a pressure cooker. All I can say is everything is positive on this unit and I have no bad thoughts on purchasing it on it. It is a bit pricey but I purchased it through Amazon and received $50 off by applying for Amazons credit card, so I only paid $219.99 for it. Again, bottom line is I love it and works great.

I have them all-steamer/ dehydrator/slow cooker/ pressure cooker/ air and oil fryers- but they're all being donated to GoodWill- this product does it all. Use it daily.
