These vegan, mini chocolate chips taste delicious and they are terrific to bake with. I had not used mini chips before, and they work great for better distribution of chips throughout the chocolate chip cookies I made. Below is the recipe I used, which is one I developed for myself after a lot of experimenting with ways to avoid using sugar yet still have cookies taste sweet. I have included some pictures of the cookies I baked as well as what the dough looks like when made in a food processor. I will definitely purchase these chocolate chips again! Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix these dry ingredients together well or sift them together if preferred: 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour 2 tsp. stevia 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. sea salt Puree in food processor: 1 medium, peeled and cored apple (or 1/2 cup applesauce) 60 gm pitted dates 1/2 cup coconut oil 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (I make my own) 1/4 cup maple syrup Gradually add in 1/2 of the dry ingredients to the pureed mixture in the food processor. Remove the pureed mixture from the food processor and place in a bowl. Stir in the rest of the dry mixture and add last: 1 cup Enjoy Life Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini-Chips For convenience, I use my toaster oven rather than turning on my regular-sized oven (easier to deal with and uses less electricity). As stated above, I preheat my toaster oven to 325 degrees. I use a 1-tablespoon-size melon-ball scoop to measure out balls of cookie dough onto a greased silicone baking sheet which is specifically sized for a toaster oven. I press the cookie-dough balls flat. I then bake the cookies on the toaster-oven rack on its top level for 9-10 minutes. The cookies have a moist and chewy texture. This recipe makes about 44 cookies at approximately 75 calories each.

We bought this chocolate after finding out my daughter had a nut allergy. I wanted to be able to make her a chocolate bunny for Easter since all the other kids would have them. It worked out great! I just melted the chocolate in a double boiler, stirring continuously, and poured into some candy molds. Perfection! On a side note, I love chocolate and have no allergies and these have become my have chocolate chips to eat straight out of the bag. I included a picture of a chocolate lamb I made with these chocolates.

We use these for my daughter as she has a dairy and egg allergy. I have used this product before and they are a great alternative for those with a dairy allergy or for those who are vegan for whatever the reason. I am always a little hesitant to purchase food online since you don't know what the expiration date will be. All six bags expire in October 2019. They do freeze well though so even if I haven't used them all by then they will still keep nicely.

With the "shelter-in-place" in Northern California, it's hard to get to the grocery store and even harder to find everything that we want to buy. I have a child who is allergic to dairy and it has been very difficult to find what we need to eat the way we normally would. I wanted to make him chocolate chip cookies as a treat while we're cooped up inside the house day after day, and I was so excited to find these on Amazon and have them delivered to my doorstep so quickly! Thanks for bringing a smile to our faces during a time when there's not a lot to smile about.

I have ordered the 6 pack of mini chips twice to stock up as I love them that much I want them on hand and both times upon arrival 1 package was popped open and mini chips were everywhere! At this point I feel like someone at the amazon warehouse must be doing this on purpose for this to happen twice in a row. Other than that everything was great.

I was a little worried because there were some reviews saying it arrived as 1 large clump of chocolate but I ordered mine in winter so that must’ve made a difference. I just received it today and checked that all the bags had bits in them. I only opened one is it seems just fine. The only thing I will say is that it doesn’t taste as good as the brand I buy from the supermarket. It’s a bit more of a harsh bitter than a smooth bitter if that makes any sense but on the plus it is a bit cheaper and it was delivered to my door. All in all it’s a good product. I might purchase it again unless I can find the other brand on sale.

My son has a life threatening allergy to milk and peanuts. This was an awesome find as a mom who loves chocolate! One more thing he doesn't have to miss out on. I originally planned on trying to find a dark chocolate without milk and then I read a study that even if you find one most of the ones tested actually contained milk anyway. Not worth the risk. So comforting to know these are meant for allergies. I have since found them at a local store but they are $7 a bag. It is much cheaper to buy them in bulk and just have them on hand. I ordered them in the summer and was worried about them melting but they came in cold packaging. Will definitely buy more of these products in the future as my son grows. Thank you so much for making an obstacle in our lives a bit easier.

Enjoy Life has proven with this product that you don't need milk from a cow, goat, or other sentient being to manufacture a delicious chocolate morsel. The texture, flavor, and value are all there; and actually, these may very well be superior in every way to the milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate morsels we grew up with in our chocolate chip cookies. Can't go wrong here -- just use them like you've always used chocolate chips. Just be careful not to leave a half-empty bag of these in your pantry, unless you know what you are getting into -- or more accurately, what others will soon be getting into! The remaining morsels will gradually disappear, and maybe not so "gradually." Don't be surprised when sweet-tooth snackers abscond with the entire remainder!

my absolute favorite chocolate. just melt it the microwave, mix with some nuts, put in the fridge for a bit, and you got the best (milk-free) snack ever. absolutely perfect flavor, not too sweet, not at all bitter, just perfect

These were a tasty way to include my vegan guests in the chocolate fountain station. The chips took a good while to melt but thinning with coconut milk helped tremendously. My guests loved the rich dark chocolate flavor.
