why cant the car company set it as standard feature.or even options

after the wife car got rear ended and the other driver said the damage was there before they hit the car ??,i feel like there is need to install a dash camera..that way there is no you said or i said. let the video do the talking . this is one is very solid pcs. the build quality so far seem very good. and the 1080P is really a must. but not killing the storage space .i would really recommend geting the faster SD card. it did not work well with my old SD. overall it is a happy purchase . maybe soon the car manufactory will push it as standard or options .the only issue it i do not want to hardwire . but the plug in works just fine for the money i spent .

Very useful camera for a city like Chicago. I found that picture quality is good day and night. Can read license plate of car in front of you. Easy to mount and use. It’s small and doesn’t cover the view. Love it and would recommend to a friend

I’m really liking this dashcam. It has a very low profile so I hardly even notice it. Installation was a breeze. I first plugged it into the lighter and used it to make sure I liked it. Once I did, I hardwired it in and now I don’t even have to think about it. When I start the car it goes on and turns off when I shut the engine. The suction cup mount is quite secure. When I took my car in for service I removed the dashcam and was able to remove and reinstall in a second or two. During the day it was quite impressive but to me the real test is how it performs at night. The night vision is quite impressive and is many steps above my old dashcam. This is the kind of clarity you really need at night to make out license plates, etc. This one is definitely a keeper.

Very convenient dash cam

First of all I really like the design of this particular dash cam. It is not bulky and slim enough to fit under your rearview mirror without obstructing your view. The quality of this cam is really good, it does not appear to me as being cheaply made. Although the functionality is something to get used too once you familiarize yourself with it, you will not need to adjust settings going forward. I prefer a suction cup mount so I can remove and place in another vehicle. The suction cup mount is very strong and keeps the cam stable when going over rough terrain. I wish it came with clips to organize the cables. I have provided a video and a couple of pics to show the quality. I plan to purchase another for my son to have in his car.

High Quality and Easy to Use Dashcam

I purchased this dashcam for my commercial van. The dashcam is absolutely brilliant, it has a elegant design, the buttons are comfortably positioned. It has a nice quality lenses, good microphone and you have an option to record your videos in fullHD mode. I used other dashcams in the past, and most of were complicated to use, but this one, on the other hand, is very simple and easy to navigate, the screen is big enough to see the details. So far, I tried night mode which is amazing, motion detection sensor that has great sensitivity, loop recording has multiple options to choose from- in terms of video length. Adding the licence plate number and a time & date stamp another great feature for this device. The only thing I would recommend to a manufacturer is to include a memory card in the box so a buyer could use right after he receives the package. I have been using it for few days only so I can't comment on its durability yet but it looks pretty durable and doesn't have any malfunctions. I am very happy with my purchase and will probably buy another one for my wife's car.

Above my expectations!

I have a good understanding about cameras and was surprised to see the footage with the sun right into the lens of this little dashcam (pics 1 and 2). I was actually expecting at least a third of the image to be white, but you can clearly see even license plates (red plates in red in picture 2 can all be read). The lens is pretty wide, covering almost the whole windshield. The quality of the videos is also great. The camera makes automatically 3-minute long videos that are overwritten once the memory is full. Taking a snapshot seems to be better quality than video (at least at night time). The mounting hardware is solid, with the USB connection on it so you don't need to unplug anything when removing the camera from the mount. The charger connects to your lighter and has an additional USB port on it, and it starts recording when the car is on. I will get another one for my dad soon!
