My 3-year old DVD player does not have an HDMI cable and so I wasn't able to use it with my 1-year old Vizio television. I purchased this player after reading such mixed reviews on the variety of AVI (red/white/yellow ended cables) to HDMI conversion cables. I plugged in the power cord and plugged in the HDMI cable - it worked immediately. I'm so pleased! It does speak to you when you turn it off or on: "power off" in a woman's voice, but if you use the volume button you don't have to hear it. The only strange thing about this player is the lack of a 'stop' button. I hope it will not cause an early performance decline. I love how small it is, only 6-1/2" by 6-1/2". I have not tried using the CD, bluetooth or radio features yet, but as a DVD player it works great.

Excellent and Versatile Multi-Media Player.

This is a very versatile multi-media player. It plays common media formats and outputs to common connection options or can play audio through excellent sounding built-in speakers. Very well designed. Good appearance and easy to use. Came packaged with all of the accessories needed to use it, including a high amperage USB power supply. Can be used laying flat on a table as is, mounted on the included table stand, or wall mounted using the included wall bracket. The option to wall mount it, the ability to play a large number of MP3 files in a continuous loop, and ability to output to headphones were a key factors in my purchase decision. I bought this for my father in a nursing home who who needs a music player that cannot be accidentally pulled off his bedside table and that will operate continuously without need to recharge or touch controls. Very happy with this player and I would purchase it again.

The DVD player works good. My only .dislike is that you have to turn it on and off by pulling the power cord.

Size is great

Doesn’t really have a “stop/end” button and opening it needs manual assistance. Hopefully, it’ll be a little more user-friendly once mounted. Rather expensive for the shortcomings. The seller saw my comment, though, and issued a partial refund. Very much appreciated.

Good Product

Arrived one day late, but overall, satisfied with this purchase. The wall feature is nice. easy hook-up, plays DVDs fine. I have not used any other features yet.

Quite pleased with this item

I purchased two of these DVD/CD players when this item was offered as a "Lightning Deal." I purchased one in white and the other in pink. While a wall mounting option is available, I chose not to use this feature. I instead just place the DVD/CD player on a table when in use. I also like the option of being able to move the DVD/CD player to different rooms, as needed. I have tested both the DVD and CD features and both worked fine. I have not tested the other available options. A remote control, HDMI cable and AV Jacks are also included. Highly recommended. Thank you.

It is awesome and discreet. Not an issue with remote while the player is hung behind the TV either.

One box combined media player, bluetooth speaker and FM radio

After long time search for a dvd player with speaker, finally I found this one for my old VCDs. It's actually not only a dvd player, you can play most AV media like CD music, VCD stream or FM radio on this box. It integrates a strong OS and decoder to support most popular media types. And abundant I/O interfaces are convenient to input USB media and output HDMI/AV signal. Surprisingly it embed bluetooth connectivity and a speaker, which mean a full bluetooth speaker function is added on this player. The power cord pull switch on/off with sound prompt is cool. And the mount options and kits are considerate for most circumstances. I'm very satisfied for this player.

Versatile, A Multi-Use Unit

This unit does it all! I purchased it for my child care facility and am very happy with all that it does. We play CDs and CDRs on it, we connect to blue tooth and also play music from our USB drive. Versatile and easy to use. Few buttons for ease of operation and durably made. It was the only one of it's kind that I could find with a cover over the CD player. All the others are open to the elements, i.e. dust, lint I have had it for a little over a month and it hasn't skipped or malfunctioned at all. Although you can mount it as a wall unit, I have mine on the stand and it is sturdy. Would definitely order more if I need them in other classrooms. Speaker is decent, not the best, but suits our needs as the children tend to be loud as well.

I like the fact that you don't have to hang it on the wall. I have mine setting on my desk where it is handy to reach.
