When I first got the remotes one was programmed quickly and the other would not work. Having read reviews before I bought mine, I changed the batteries on both. The second remote than was programmed quickly and worked just fine. The batteries that come with the product are just to basically program and try the remotes. The vendor even states that on the Amazon product page. Just change the batteries and you should be find. Can't beat 2 great working remotes for the price. Hope this helps someone.

this teeny tiny garage door opener is awesome! my boyfriend had them both programmed in less than 5 minutes & they work great. i hit the button when i get to the end of our apartment row & the door is open when i get there. would definitely buy again!

Some reviews state that the remote is cheap and flimsy. Definitely NOT the case. Solid chrome metal construction. Took seconds to program rash one. Excellent for a keychain. Would definitely purchase again.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do, it opens the garage. And it is very well made. Unlike many other products, the key ring on this product is made of metal (THIS IS IMPORTANT). A plastic key ring will always break. Plus it is very easy to program, just punch the purple button on your garage unit, then press the button on this opener.

Product comes as described, pushed the learn button on my garage door opener (though I should note my button isn't purple which had me worried) and almost instantly after clicking the A button, it paired. I haven't tested long ranges but it works well past standard suburban driveways. Both look very nice and it's even smaller than my own car key. No regrets. It even has a cover that goes over the buttons to make sure it's not randomly clicked if it's in your pocket. It is plastic but for $9 and some change per clicker, it's well worth it.

This transmitter is tiny. About the size and half the thickness of a 9V battery. Fortunately, it worked perfectly with my driveway gate and garage door. NOTE: This only works with 315Mhz systems. My driveway gate has both a Linear/Multicode (300Mhz) and a Liftmaster (315Mhz) receiver attached. It only worked with the Liftmaster setting. As for the unit itself, it was programmed on the first try. Some observations: - The A/B buttons are good size with a solid "click" sound and feel - There is a small red LED light to also show it working. And to show when to replace battery. - The small cover slides easy and clicks into the open and close positions. No worries of it sliding around. - Three small screws in back make it easy for battery replacement. Did not check what the size was for it. - The C/D buttons are small. If you have large hands, you'll likely use your nail to press it accurately. - Keyhole makes it easy to put on your key chain Overall, great price for two of these, making them worth the purchase.

This replacement transmitter actually works better than the original. It took me only about 1 minute to program and is a 2-step process: 1) Press the learn button on the opener, 2) Press the button you want to use on the transmitter until the opener light blinks (which happened very quickly) and you're done. I really don't know what more you could expect from such a device.

I can't recommend this enough. My old remote for my 2009 Craftsman garage door opener stopped working. Original remotes are selling for over $100, so I decided to go with this one. I figured it was inexpensive, and if it didn't work I wouldn't be out much money. If you need a replacement remote for your opener that has a "purple Learn button", order this with confidence. It literally took 5 seconds to program it, no issues whatsoever, and works great.

I bought these about 2-3 months ago they work well. Today 5 Jan 2019 I had to replace the battery. So They work and work well. The batteries they come with well....... Just order a 10 pack of the CR2032 when you purchase these remotes. They are easy to replace and you can pick up about 30-40 feet on the remote if they Build the Wall on the southern boarder. They are small and easy to program. I have on on my golf cart and motorcycle and love them. They are made in China so the may last for a year or 3 then you will need to buy more.

I don't review items much, but was pleased enough with these remotes to do so after taking a chance seeing they didn't have many reviews to start with. It's slim pickings out there for 315mhz/purple program Security+ openers, especially small compact remotes. I wanted as small as possible so that they are pocketable and not left in the car so in the event one is left in the driveway, someone cannot break into our car and obtain a way into our garage. They program instantly, have an excellent range (I estimate 50 yards from outside with our door closed, we were two houses down) and are smaller than a Chevy keyless entry remote. The door that covers the buttons is "clicky" to stay in place, but I assume in short order that will probably wear in and the door may slide down in your pocket or purse on its own. Not a big deal at all. The only negative is the small portion of plastic near the loop to attach to your keychain is very limiting. It is a tiny hole and I could see where the plastic would snap off very quickly in your pocket if you place it on a thicker key ring. To alleviate this, I used a black zip tie to make a flexible keychain loop and then attached that to my existing key chain. Overall, great product for the 315mhz crowd.
