Highlights: What separates this portable DVD player from the crowd is it’s beautiful 10.1” screen, flexibility and portability with lots of easy to use features, the fully featured remote control, and of course the excellent onboard rechargeable battery life. I was impressed right away by how well and securely packaged this is. The unit arrived quickly and in perfect condition. After unpacking we were up and running a DVD movie in less that 5 minutes. Operation is straightforward with onboard controls and a fully featured remote control. There are ample player menu features available to tweak settings but we didn’t find any adjustments necessary. The 10.1” screen looks great! Big and bright with great DVD quality details. The screen rotates and can fold flat against the machine. Sound is really decent as well from the onboard stereo speakers plus there is an audio jack output for headphones. Once the unit is charged up, if you unplug from AC or 12V power the unit seemlessly switches to battery power without interrupting playback of a movie. I’ve been grabbing DVD movies off our shelf and firing them up in this unit. It’s really nice! Bonus I can unplug and easily head to a different room. Our 7 and 9 year old kids love to use the portable unit to play their movies. It’s simple enough for them to easily operate without adult help. Plus it’s lightweight for comfortable use in a lap. On road trips it’s easily secured to the back of a vehicle’s seat with an included harness. Finally there are SD card and USB inputs, and TV and audio outs! Flexible! I’m very happy with our purchase.

very good quality for price, intuitive to use and tough construction

This is my first dedicated dvd player purchased or even used. I've always just substituted big heavy laptops for the purpose in order to avoid using a single-tasker. I'm glad that I took the plunge and tried this one out. For years, I've been curious on flights especially about folks intense concentration on their dvd player screens and now I understand. Really terrific and easy way to view content you want on your terms without the headaches involved in a computing device. I tried a movie and then a music dvd to test and while both were terrific in terms of display resolution, the movie was by far more to my liking until I put a headset on and then I realized the music sound enhancements that my headsets afforded vastly improved the experience. I assume that most of my use will be with headphones though so this is no big deal. My one area that could be improved would be the remote control, which you see included in the pic I've attached. The features are fine and what's needed, but just opening the battery compartment is a major pain. Minor complaint though and really happy with this dvd player.

I keep finding new things to like about it

I originally bought this to keep the kids amused during long car rides. I bought it because it had a 5 hour battery life and that should do well and then we can recharge it with the included wall charger for the return trip. When unpacking it, I notice that it has a car charger too! Cool, my old one didn't have that! So this is definitely not going to die mid-trip and disappoint the kids. Then it also has some A/V cables, so you can use it as a home DVD player on a big screen between car trips too so this is useful 24/7 and not just on car trips. Plus the screen can swivel the opposite direction so if you have any handsy little ones that might like to keep pushing the button to open the DVD compartment, you can turn that part away from them so that is the smartest part about this. It also comes with a remote control so you can control it with ease. This was a great purchase! And don't worry, it has full color, I was just watching a black and white movie. Groucho Marx is just the best.

Convenient, lightweight, and high-quality image

I have this product with me for almost a month now. I love how convenient it is to have a lightweight portable DVD Player with me when I need to watch a movie privately at my own time. So far there is no any issue with the player. It seems durable and sturdy. The player gives me a high-quality image. At the loudest volume, the sound is still not loud enough for me. I guess it designs for users to use it with a headphone; so it will not disturb other people around, maybe. I can easily watch 2 movies in one full charge battery. Moreover, I can play my favorite movies and songs from USB drives or SD cards.

MUST HAVE FOR PARENTS OR GRANDPARENTS!!

The Juntunkor portable DVD player is awesome. Especially for those who have children. I have gone through at least 5 different brands of portable DVD players and this one is easily my favorite. It’s flippable screen makes it more compact and easy to carry. The included carrier latches on to car seats with ease, and makes long car rides with the children a little more tolerable! The slim controller is easy to stash and has a wide button selection. The HD display quality is fantastic. My only criticism is that it doesn’t come with a usb charger which would be more compatible with newer cars, however the ability to use this DVD player without it being plugged into a power outlet makes it worth while. I highly recommend the HD Junkuntor portable DVD player. Great for kids, road trips, and even binge watching in bed! Every time I purchase something online, I always check the reviews. Does it's job fine for the price point

We needed a media player for a long road trip (keep the kids occupied in the back seat), and decided to go with this one because of the screen size and price. So far, it's done it's job well. We like: - It's very easy to use. Our 7 year old was able to navigate through the menus and change out a movie on her own. An adult should have no issue. - It's very light-weight, so much to the point you may want to put it somewhere it won't easily slide. - The way it was packaged (there's about a one inch layer of bubble wrap around it) there's almost no way it could be damaged from shipping. - Battery life got us through two entire disney movies. We haven't pushed it to dying on us to know how long it could go. - A TON of accessories come with it, from remotes, to headrest mounts, and multiple type of chargers. What could be improved: - The resolution for photos isn't too high. Movies look fine, so stick with them. - It's primarily plastic, which it how the weight is so low. Overall, it did the job that we purchased it for. I look forward to having this around for other trips and flights. The ability to take SD cards and USB drives makes it very versatile if you don't have many dvds anymore.

Very lightweight and portable

I've only had this for a few days but I'm loving this DVD player so far. My daughter and I watched a movie on it and it worked great. My daughter is super excited with this player since she doesn't have a TV in her room and now she can take this and watch a movie. The controls are self explanatory and the picture quality and sound were good. I love that this is so lightweight and portable with a big enough screen to allow at least 2 people to watch it at once. I'm looking forward to taking this on trips with us when wi-fi is not available. I also love that the player was packaged in a bubble wrap sleeve inside the DVD box so it would provide extra protection. This player comes with a remote control, a car charger, and audio/visual cables. Totally happy with this purchase!
