Great Sound, good quality, inexpensive!

I've been a family doc for 7 years. My Littmann finally cracked and split after 10 years of use and abuse and I decided to give one of these a try after borrowing everyone's stethoscope in my office of a month. I am very happy with it and at this price I have to say I'm surprised. The sound quality is very good and I like the material. It feels very robust, but even if it breaks in 3-4 years, it's so cheap compared to my old Littman might just replace it.

Fricare dual head stethoscope

I have been using the Fricare dual head stethoscope to replace my expensive Adscope dual head and have been pleasantly surprised at it's quality. I had misplaced my expensive scope and needed a quick replacement for work as a hospital RN. This scope has a good weight (not light) to the bell, and the tubing is not too stiff. It is a well made scope. Do not let the price fool you...you can hear high and low pitches by adjusting the diaphragm with light or heavy pressure, or by turning it, clicking the diaphragm into bell mode. It works great for my needs as med surg RN, need to hear BP, lung sounds and heart tones well, and I hate cheap scopes that are light and stiff, or can't hear anything. I am pleased with this Fricare stethoscope. Also the earpieces are very comfortable, and it comes with a warranty. Highly recommend to other RNs.

Shocking quality!

I only took a chance because of the good reviews. I’m glad I did. Looking for a gift for just occasional use and didn’t need/want to spend a lot. This rivals my Littmann Cardiology III in sound quality very closely. ❤️

Very Easy to Hear!

I bought this for my nurse aide class and didn't want to spend the money for a littmann. This thing is definitely worth the money. Others in the class spent more on another brand and they struggled to hear and the quality was sub par. This thing is very well made (I expect it will at least last through nursing school). Once I figured out you rotate the head to be able to turn it on (don't laugh, I'm learning), I never struggled to hear again. Everything is loud and clear. Other reviews said it rivals their littmann, and while I can't make that comparison, I am not disappointed. 10/10 Would definitely buy again.

Lightweight, good price.

Just what I need. The old is no functional and I need to replace one, but don’t wanna spend too much. Working great, sound clear. The ear tips are soft and comfy. You could simply using alcohol to clean up the stethoscope when it gets dirty. I like it because it is lightweight comparing to the other. Great price.

Great as a gift. it really means alot!!

It is a gift for my younger sister. she is in madical school. she is starting to do her practice in local hospirals. she was so happy with this gift. it felt well made and durable but didn't too heavy. she really like the size and shape of the stethoscope and it is so comfortable to use. i just can't wait to see her to use it at her work. i think it's not just a gift and it's a hope. we hope she will be very successfull at her madical career.

Worth the $20

I luv this stethoscope for a couple of reasons... I like the wgt....just my preference it’s not light wgt as it states it’s one of the heavier ones..... I only have two other stethoscopes to compare it to....I bought a Littmann out of school years ago and this sounds just a good as that 1 and I paid $100 or a lil less...this was only $20......I currently am doing ur basic assessment on pediatric.......Very happy to have bought...auscultation very clear for lungs and HB......hopes this helps.....don’t dislike anything about product....

Equivalent to a higher end stethoscope for a quarter of the price!

I had a Littman for 5 years and the tubing was already cracking. Have been using a cheap one but the ear buds were really hard and they hurt my ears. Found this stethoscope and the reviews were awesome so figured I'd try it! I am super impressed already! Arrived very nicely packaged. It comes with a name tag, extra bell lining and extra set of ear buds! The sound quality seems great. Why spend so much money on a Littman when you can get this for a quarter of the price!!

very little to complain about this tool

The FriCARE stethoscope is an inexpensive and functional piece of medical equipment. There are more expensive options out there that to me are better known and maybe look slightly nicer, but this one works just as good from other major brands. In the hospital setting things can get hectic and things often get misplace so this low price point is a good thing. On the functionality side I appreciate the tubing its flexible and long enough for use without being microphonic. The headpiece has a good weight to it and seems sturdy. Overall very little to complain about for this tool.

Functional and affordable

I wanted a Littman, but doing animal rehab and rescue, I couldn't part with that much cash. I tried this one, and I'm glad I did. The sound quality is fantastic, even on my little 4lb cat. Yet it still works great for the bigger creatures (humans). Both sides work as they should, and it's pretty comfortable. If you're looking for something moderately priced that works, this is your stethoscope!
