I noticed water lines on my headliner so I ordered this immediately. It came the next day with Prime. Reviews said it was easy to install and thick, both true. It did not fit the exact groove my OEM gasket laid in but was thick enough that I’m not worried about that. Detailed instructions with photos came with it. I included photos in this review: old gasket, new gasket, and instructions.

This product worked for me as advertised, which is a great thing! A while ago I had noticed discoloration on my 2011 Silverado 1500 LT Extended Cab headliner where water was making its way in . After some searching, I removed the third brake light assembly and tried sealing it with RTV, which did not work. I noticed this product on amazon and decided to try it out. Installation took a few minutes with good instructions to follow. Since then I have been thru a few rain storms and no evidence of water. I did price out a gasket from my dealer. They were happy to sell me a new assembly since no separate gasket was available. I passed on that offer. So excellent quality, performs as expected and a great price. I would definitely recommend this product

If you are looking for a seal gasket replacement part and not trying to spend an arm and a leg, this is definitely the option to go with! My third brake light starting leaking and it took me a while to find the source of how the water was getting into my headliner, but, once I did, replacing it was a must. There was no sense in buying an entirely new light case, when all I needed was the seal. Works amazing!! Once I put it on, I took the hose and ran some water over it for some time to ensure no more water was getting inside and then it of course rained the following day, so I really got to see if it worked. It works and is worth it!!!

The seal on my cargo light/3rd brake light was bad and water leaked in and ruined my headliner! I searched everywhere for a new seal and this was by far the best deal. AutoZone and O'Riellys don't sell light kits and they must be purchased from the manufacturer..for $111 before install. So far this $16 seal has held up through several rain storms and car washes with NO PROBLEMS! Super sticky.

Have a 2004 Chevy Silverado Ext-Cab.... had a water leak in the back seat... headliner was wet... back seat and rear floorboards wet.... Figured out the brake light was leaking... This simple, cheap gasket fixed it! All I needed was a screwdriver and an old rag to clean off the gunk from the old gasket. Entire job took about 12 minutes.

The dealership said these weren't available and that I would have to purchase a whole new 3rd brake light @$98, well I guess they were wrong.

Definitely a product I would recommend. 07-13 Silverado trucks are notorious for the 3rd brake light water leak. I purchased 3 new lights 3 years in a row due to a failed rubber seal. If you don’t want to pay $100 at the dealer for a new light that will only seal for 1 year I definitely recommend this product. Not the simplest to install but definitely doable.

Stains on the roof? This will fix the leak. Fit my 2005 Chevy 1500 single cab.

2008 Silverado 1500 LTZ. Quality gasket. Bought to replace the paper thin gasket that came on a Lumen brand 3rd brake light I bought as an upgrade. As long as you slowly apply edge to edge, it serves as an A+ replacement.

I had a leak in my truck that was discoloring the headliner. I thought it was coming from around the rear window, due to the stain being in the top left corner at the rear of the cab. The dealer wanted $300 to diagnose the issue. It was suggested to me to check the third brake light for leaks. When I popped the light out I could see where water was getting past the seal and dripping into a channel that ran to the corner right where the stain on the inside was. This replacement was easy to apply, fixed my leak, and saved me a few hundred dollars
