Unit never reaches full charge

I like the fact that this is allowing me to extend the life of my Bose SoundDock Portable. My particular unit does not appear to ever reach full charge (using the table in the manual the blue LED should not remain blinking) . I have tried to charge using the SoundDock and the Apple Charger / Apple 30 pin cable with similar results. I wrote an email to invery and received no reply. The folks at Invery did two things .. 1st they sent me an email with an addendum to the instructions to clarify what I was observing 2nd They sent me a replacement which is working wonderfully and I could not be more satisfied. (as a result I changed my rating to 5 stars. I would buy from this company again without hesitation.

Works great!

I was a spectacle when I received the product as its looks cheap product quality! after unboxing and installing on the docking station of mine its works great, Sound quality is very good, easy to install and use, i definitely recommended this product.

Good Sound Quality

I love this device so much! I have a Bose Sounddock with old apple 30 pin connector which I haven't used it for years since Apple changed to lightning connector. Casually one of my friends introduced me Airdual DockLinQ to work with old 30 pin Bose Sounddock, I bought it immediately on amazon. It is amazing! I can't wait to open it when I received the amazon parcel.Comparing others 30 pin bluetooth adapters, it is so lovely. Looks like apple iPod, simple and elegant design is very fashion and popular, not stiff like others.The aluminium case touch feeling is awesome. Aluminium case design is much more robust than other plastic case which is easy to be broken when you fell it on ground. It works great! Simple! Just plugged it on Bose Sounddock docking station. Very easy to pair it, open device bluetooth settings, searching device and pair it, music start playing, then I can control music volume and previous/next on myself phone. It supports iPhone and andriod devices. Everything goes smoothly. Not complicated at all. Brought and powered by CSR bluetooth 4.0 technology chip, the sounds quality is excellent. CSR bluetooth technolgoy and Bose quality makes sounds super good! I love the sounds very much. Impressively, the bluetooth wireless range is very long, I have an apartment with three rooms, I can walk in different rooms without music breaking. This helps me enjoy music a lot. One more feature. This bluetooth adapter is integrated with 3.5 mm aux jack and built-in 5 hours working battery. This feature can extend your car stereo with bluetooth audio if your car has 3.5 mm AUX connector. One more usage, just plug your wired headphone into 3.5 mm jack, it can renew your bose wired headphone to upgrade bluetooth audio. It is multi-functionalities. In one word, I strongly recommend this device!

Well worth 25 bucks.

Have had a Bose SoundDock for a few years with an old iPod plugged in, but rarely use the SoundDock because I have all the same music on my iPhone now and rarely use the iPod anymore. Found this and am really tickled with it. Synced with my phone, I listen to the music that is on my phone, as well as Pandora. Synced with my laptop, I watch Netflix and listen to the sound over the SoundDock.

So Glad I Found This!

It was such a waste of a great sound dock when I could no longer use my Bose because I now mostly stream music through my phone, but then I discovered this little gadget. It works great, charges in the dock and can once again use the excellent sounding Bose sound dock, and don't have to shell out $$$ for a new one. The only very slight downside is it's not completely seamless to switch between users. If my phone is connected and my husband wants to stream from his phone, I first have to disconnect my phone through the bluetooth settings before he can stream. There may be a solution to this, but I have not yet figured it out. There are instructions for connecting multiple devices but we were not able to get both devices to play music without disconnecting one of them.

Honestly surprised by how nice this product is.

At $25 this is a very well made adapter. I use it's aux cable to plug into a radio and power it with the apple 30 pin cable that was already in my older car. This means that this review is only talking about its aux output and if you are looking at using this for its 30 pin output check other reviews. To start the build quality is very nice, the metal case and matte finish black plastic are very sturdy. The light that shows its status is bright while not being obnoxious. It is very easy to setup and I have used it for a few months now with no issues. Audio quality is pretty good and seems more limited by my car's radio than the device. Also this device is fairly small, i'm sure you get a sense of scale from the hand in the pictures but it is not much wider than the 30 pin plug itself.

Does not work on the Audi MMI system but does work on Mercedes CLK

I can’t fault this adapter or test it for it’s original purpose. I thought it would be a cheaper alternative to the Bluetooth adapter made for the Audi MMI since they both use the old iPod connector. It powers up but the car can’t see it. I hope this saves someone else the trouble. UPDATE: I tried it on my 2008 Mercedes CLK 550 with the optional iPod aux cable and it works great. I couldn’t be happier.

Upgrade your old Bose SoundDock Speaker

This product is super easy to install, since it's plug and play. All you have to do is configure Bluetooth. Design is awesome unlike other modules that are made out of cheap plastic and gives stylish look to your Bose SoundDock. If I had any legacy iPhone / iPod 30pin dock, give your device a new life with this product. I'd highly recommend. *There was a slight issue with the older version of the product but the customer service was fast and friendly and sent out the upgraded version which works like a charm. Make sure you get the upgraded version which has better design to prevent constant blinking LED.

New Life for iPod HiFi

Works great, surprisingly high-quality audio from my iPhone X to the HiFi connected to the 30-pink dock port. Range is far better than I expected as well, walking between rooms I stay connected to the DockLinQ without trouble. Very happy with the device for it's intended purpose of bringing my HiFi back to life. Upside, it's also a great little universal bluetooth dongle- plug in the 3.5mm jack and you've got a go-anywhere method of connecting to your devices. Only one nit-picky issue: Every adjustment to volume via bluetooth lowers the music volume and makes a muted beep. Not a huge issue, but a minor annoyance because every volume adjustment causes the beep which is generated not by the phone by the DockLinQ adapter itself. Paid full price, totally worth it.

Simple!

I have an OLD Bose Sound dock purchased Christmas 2007. Still using my same vintage iPod but wanted something else to play the music. This Bose has one 30 pin connection. No auxiliary jack, no USB port, nothing. I bought a 2 in 1 so I could use itunes, now with this adapter I select the songs with my tablet and it plays through the Bose. All I had to do was take it out of the package, plug it into the 30 pin connector, pair with my device (directions included and simple) and VIOLA! everything worked as expected!!!
