Its nice that all the attachments fit in the box under the mixer. It works well when I do not want to take the time to get out my big Kitchen Aid counter top mixer and for small jobs. Glad I got it.

I haven't tried all of the attachments yet but the standard beaters work well. The speed selections are good - I bought this because the cheap models I have bought in the past don't have a true low speed and throw dry ingredients out of the bowl. The speeds on this model are what i wanted and expected.

It may not seem logical to give a mixer 5 stars because it's so neat and tidy when not in use, but there you have it. Oh, sure, it's a very good hand mixer. Powerful for its size, with three different attachments, 2 helix beaters for mixing, 2 dough hooks, and one wire whisk, it's as good as or perhaps better than any hand mixers I've had in the past (and my past is very long). The shape of the reinforced-nylon helix beaters is supposed to maximize your mixing surface area and mixing performance and they worked fine for me, although I couldn't really tell you if it was 2X the performance of my previous mixers. I can say that the motor is a bit more powerful at 250 watts. The other two hand mixers in my kitchen both have 200-watt motors. And the motor runs at 5 speeds, with a turbo boost option at any of the speeds. But, again, good as this mixer may be at mixing and beating, it's the storage case that takes it over the top for me. All the accessories and the cord fit nicely into the bottom and the mixer itself snaps on at the top as the cover. Great for putting away and not losing any of the pieces.

I ordered the purple one, and it looks great. The helix beaters really do a better job of mixing than conventional ones. I see most complaints in the reviews being about the beaters being made from plastic. Well, it's not normal cheap plastic, instead it is reinforced with fibers which make it very strong and durable. This is a similar process used in the plastics in high end power tools and RC cars. My only very small complaints are I wish they used a silicone power cord so it is more flexible. I'm very good with electronics and electrical so I will probably upgrade that myself. The other wish is the slow speed was slower so you could start without throwing ingredients out of the bowl before they are mixed together. It's better than my vintage mixer from the 80's but still has room for improvement. I was considering the Kitchenaid hand mixer but I have no regrets going with this Helix mixer instead... I absolutely love it... and I'm not a fan of Black & Decker at all, but this product is the exception.

I love the color (I got the bright orange). These come in a case for easy storage and it comes with a whisk attachment and dough attachments along with the traditional mixer attachments. Its very easy to use and is very powerful. I've already used it a few times and I barely got it.

This is a light weight mixer and has an easy clip on storage case. I have used it a couple of times Used the helix mixer to mix cookie dough and the whisk attachment to beat eggs. Would not recommend for use on heavier dough but it does a good job on lighter weight cookie dough and would be great for mixing up cakes. I like the helix feature, it seems to do a better job of mixing than the old style

but I think they're quick to judge. I read a lot of reviews on this hand mixer and was torn. I really wanted the look and storage capabilities of this mixer, but people really hated its motor and mixer paddles. My experience started similarly to others: I was unimpressed by the nylon-type material (think dollar store "silicone" utensils) of the beaters, but they became better after a good scrub with a sponge and soapy water. The motor also gave a pretty bad smell...at first. After I continued to use the mixer, it was like the smell "burned off" and it was gone. (I was making a cake and frosting, so the mixer was used about 4 separate times for upwards of 10 mins each time.) All-in-all: a pleasant hand mixer with a significant break in period.

I have used this for several mixes, including whipped cream and blending cake mixes. The performance is great and it is easy to use. Make sure you match the slots on the beaters to the holes, or they fall out. I like that it easily stands on the back with beaters out. The purple color is very pretty.

Seems to be strong & durable. I really like that it has its own case to keep everything in so the attachments won’t get lost in my drawers.

I impulsively bought this mixer after it wa spit on Oprah’s Favorite Things. I’d been wanting a hand mixer for a while and this one was inexpensive enough that I figured, even if it breaks I’m not out a ton of money. I purchased the turquoise and it is much more blue in person, but I like it! I’ve had it less than a week and I already used it to whip up some macarons - flawless! Super easy to use and I liked the helix mixers. I’d totally recommend this purchase based on the fact that all attachments stay with the mixer, but it also worked very well!
