Who doesn't love doughnuts?
Both my 6 and 12 year old were excited to tear open this kit as soon as it arrived and spent the evening making doughnuts designs and having me come "purchase" from their bakery once they were done. I only wish that it had come with more play-doh, as you receive only 4 small cans. I would recommend purchasing more play-doh, particularly of the light brown color (the color of dough) as that ran out quickly. If you have questions or found my review helpful, please let me know!

Super fun for Grandson and "customers"
This is a small Play-Doh set that offers great entertainment for my 4 1/2-year-old grandson who loves to eat doughnuts. When they’re that age, it really helps to have a lot of creative activities for them to choose from, and what kid doesn’t love Play-Doh? This donut set is really cute, and the pretend aspect of running a donut shop makes it even more fun when customers come into the picture. He really enjoys taking orders, pressing the doughnuts out, embellishing them with the sprinkles, and serving his customers. He’s going to have to come down on his prices though because Grandma has to watch her spending money. :) Cute set! On the small side, but the price reflects that. The dough does get mixed up together and turns grey after a while, but it's easy enough to buy more and keep using the tools that come with the set.

Three-year-old likes it. Multiple activities, but not overly complicated.
My three-year-old son likes this set a lot. I guess that's really the only thing that matters. He enjoys cooking with us and it allows him to be creative with a lot of the things he's seen us do in the kitchen. Things I like: -Set has a couple of mold presses, a "sprinkle maker," a coffee "foamer," and an "icing tube." This is the right number of things to keep him occupied without so many objects to clean up at the end. -Comes with four small tubs of Play-Doh. I greatly prefer the smaller tubs, especially since the kid regularly forgets to seal them and we lose the whole pack. Things I don't like: -Box encourages the mixing of colors to "decorate" the "cakes." This inevitably leads to a mixing of colors. (There is some OCD coming through here, I admit). -It's hard to get the play doh out of the tub, so my three year old ends up pulling it out tiny piece by tiny piece, which makes a big mess. Even when I try to get it out, it's really difficult and the play doh gets stuck under my nails (which aren't very long. It's just a little stickier and softer than it needs to be, I think.

Awesome Play-doh fun!
This was a great birthday present for a 3 yr old girl! She absolutely loved it, was able to make some fun donuts, and she had no issues with it being too hard in any way! She loved the fun colored play-doh, and enjoyed mixing some of the colors, too. Overall some of the moulds were hard to clean, but nor as bad as some others. That's just how play-doh is, frankly. fun and good on rainy or otherwise hard to be outside days, but a bit of a pain to clean. Worth it in my book to avoid television or tablets! Good deal!
