Pairing perfectly!

This product was a true plug and play for my vehicle. I used OBD Fusion App from iTunes and paired with my (iOS) iPhone 8. It quickly started running through the diagnostics and immediately provided me with up-to-date data on my vehicle. No lag time either. Heard a lot of frustrating reviews about OBD devices not pairing correctly. This was not the case for me. Highly recommended.

Works, choice of many apps

Works exactly as I wanted. Creates a WiFi network to connect your device to, so it’s got good range compared to Bluetooth. Most of my review would be about the app since that’s what you interact with, but this can connect to any OBDII WiFi reader app.

Works great

I have a 2002 Grand Caravan and it worked perfectly with it. Be aware that you connect to your phone through Wi-Fi not Bluetooth. If you want to reset your engine light you have to upgrade for a small monthly charge.

I was worried about the quality when I firstly purchased it due to its low price. But it can diagnose my car perfessionally and let me know how my car work whenever I want to know. So, the value that you get out of your device is a pretty good deal....

Let’s Talk About Compatability

So far it does what I need it to do. Let’ me list what that is. 1.fuel mileage (if it’s not running efficiently then it’s not running at its best) 2.alternator output ( this should be pretty stable maybe a little high when starting fluctuations after 10 mins of engine running is a red flag on your alternator) 3. The ability to clear codes 4. Battery voltage ( No lower than 11.5 No higher than 13.5 ) these parameters are the most basic Now let’s talk about compatibility let’s start with device/vehicle compatibility best advice I can give is do some research it can save you frustration,time and humiliation here’s a list of resources to use to do your research 1. Read the reviews ( If you don’t have time to do this then step 2) 2. Ask a question ( I use the ask questions section right here on Amazon) 3. Contact the seller ( again right here ) When it comes to devices like this Research is key I suggest you use the same process to find an app that is compatible with this device... Cheap but practical, good!

I bought this item three weeks ago, I used it to diagnose and monitor my car. It took me nearly 20 min to learn how to choose an app and pair my phone, finally I got it successfully. So, if you own a car and a phone, plus with the scanner and the suitable app (I choose EOBD to pair), you can view all kinds of data about the performance of your cars conveniently including coolant temperature, fuel system status, speed, etc. It helps me improve the understanding of my car. Great!

Super handy, well worth the price

Like many others, I bought this item to pair with the torque Pro app. So far, I have used it to get a better feel for my fuel consumption. Using this combination of tools, I have worked out how to use throttle a lot smarter and really save gas. I have use it once to scan and clear the code of check engine light as well. Super handy, well worth the price.

A great tool

This item can not only read codes from a car, but provide real-time data such as speed, RPM, fuel flow, CO2 emissions, etc. Apps can also use this data to calculate fuel economy. I have used this with the DashCommand and Torque apps on my Android phone, and both work well with this tool. Finally, the price is pretty good, worth to own it.
