Great Replacement for Wooden Hangers

About 10 years ago I decided to make the switch to wooden hangers (from plastic). However, over the years, I've started collected more and more wire hangers as I've added to the wardrobe, but not the hanger collection. I went to buy more wooden hangers and thought I'd look around to see what else is out there. I am glad I did. The premium velvet hangers by MIZGI have now become my go-to hanger (sadly, I have go-to hangers now). First off, they are cheaper. About 50c per vs 80-90c per for Amazon Basics wooden. The color (grey) is also nice and the rose gold metal is a sharp touch. But where these really shine are that they actually stay on the hangers! For years I've been struggling (yes, struggling!) with my slippery wooden hangers to keep my pants on (the hangers). With the lovely velvet, pants, shirts, cardigans, etc., don't move. It's saved me a lot of time and frustration. At the end of the day, (hopefully) no one will see these but you, so it;'s really about performance. I initially bought 50 and gave 25 to my wife, bu since she hasn't started using them, I've been slowly taking 1 or 2 at a time from her and using them. There are claims from other reviewers about similar products that leave the felt on their clothes. I've found none of that. In terms of potential space saving claims, I can see that, but haven't fully experienced it since I have so many wooden and wire hangers still in my closet. I will fully convert over time. Buy with confidence!

Simply lovely

These are lovely! They arrived a box within a box with a delightful vintage design. Upon opening, they are carefully wrapped and lovingly placed. I took a few out and ran my fingers along the velvet edges. The copper hanger swivels and are simply GORGEOUS. A little pricey IMO, but life is best served in teeny teases of luxury. I work 60 hour weeks so why not? I cannot attest to longevity or wear yet. We shall see.

No shoulder nipples!

Not only do these look nice, but they also don’t cause “shoulder nipples” like other hangers. I ordered these for my bridesmaids to hang their dresses on, and put the rest in my closet. My fiancé hates his shirts hanging because most hangers give his shirts the shoulder nipples. Now we’ve been able to hang his shirts & avoid that!

Strong, sturdy, wide and pretty

I’ve had these now about 2 months and cannot recommended them enough. I got the rose gold hooks with the nude colored velvet. They are wide, more squared shape than triangle- which is perfect for wide necklines, dresses and silky tops, nothing falls off! No slippage whatsoever. They are perfectly designed; thin, sturdy, good quality and very pleasing to the eye. I will be ordering several more packs as my husband apparently likes them too! 50 for $25 doesn’t sound too great when you think about something as minuscule a detail in life as a hanger, but believe me, ladies, this is truly a great price for a great product. My 10 for $1 plastic hangers can all find new homes now. The little strap cutouts at top cannot compare with the velvet of this set. The velvet that so far has not shed. Highly recommend.

My clothes and my husband clothes look good on the hangers they don’t fall off and the clothes stay on to.

I’m Obsessed!

So I now own 200 of these hangers. And I might buy more. They just make my closet and everything in it look so glam! The metal part is actually a rose gold which is just so much better than the similar hangers I had with silver metal. The rosey color just bring a touch of class to my closet and a smile to my face. Plus, I’ve had them for about a month and not one has broken yet, which in my household is pretty impressive.

Best hangers!!!!!

Bought 200 of these hangars to use in our newly organized closet and they are fabulous. Nincomparison to ones sold in stores. These look the same but are infinitely sturdier!

Very pretty & durable!

I love these mostly because they are pretty! Lol. I know hangers shouldn’t be a big deal, but what I decided to do is hang all my favorite cloths on them so when I go into my closet ( which is big & packed) I know what to head for first. The rose gold hook part is really pretty esp with the white velvet!

Worth It!

I got some black velvet hangers from costco and was regretting buying from Amazon because they were 50% cheaper. But I will be returning my Costco ones to buy more of these. These are sturdier, love the copper look, and best part they DO NOT tangle or overlap. Its soooo much easier to maintain, and looks so much cleaner. You get what you pay for I guess.
