I had two guitars before this but without doubt this one is now my favorite; I love the color of the guitar and the finish. The strings are soft and easy to press down, making the whole experience of playing it very easy and relaxing. I've bought several guitars on amazon as gifts for friends and once for myself and I'd say that this one is at least top 2 of all my guitar purchases on amazon. The case is "ehh" but that's usually the norm, so I do recommend buying a better one but other than that I have nothing negative to say about this purchase. Great product for the price.

I've wanted to learn violin for a while, and this was an excellent starter kit. The case is light but sturdy, the bow seems great quality, and the violin itself sounds wonderful. Came with rosin and strings already in place. My only issue was the tuning pegs kept slipping when trying to tune it, but this was easily resolved by removing the strings and reinserting the tuning pegs more tightly. Overall very pleased!

I have played guitar for about a decade and decided I also want to learn violin. If you arent sure how to string or tune your violin, look for a Youtube video, that helped me. This would be great for a kid who picks the violin for band in addition to adult learners like me. The bow is good quality, and the case is great too.

I ordered this Ukulele for my eleven years daughter as she joined the class in her school. This Ukulele comes with a tuner and carrying bag. This is very well made and perfect for learner at this reasonable price range. My daughter loves her new instrument and she is very excited to learn this.

It was kind of a risk to purchase a guitar online....but sometimes risks pay off. This one did. Beautifully crafted guitar and wonderful warm tone. The automatic tuner makes very light work of tuning this lovely instrument. Perfect starter acoustic for my teen age daughter, but my son , who is an accomplished player says he would love this too. A great little accessory kit is included and a Merry Christmas was had at our house. I would totally recommend this purchase to a beginner or a pro. It is really a sweet guitar.

Im a beginner in ukulele and violin. This wood violin comes with full accessories for beginer. The violin is super lightweight and beautiful. The wood color catches my eyes instantly. I got this violin tuned by my musican friend and he said the sound quality is great too. I highly recommend this violin for kids and violin beginners.

The guitar sounds good for the price. The 1 star deduction is for the case that was poorly made. It looked like it was made rushed. The threads are all over the place and there is a part that was not sewn. I received the new case that the seller sent and it's much better and thicker. I also received a dozen picks for free for doing the review last week. I'm upgrading my review to a 5 star! Love it!

I don’t know much about violins because this is my first time trying one out. I feel pretty excited to learn the notes and playing something decent for the first time. So far, I was able to set up this violin within half an hour using a how-to video on YouTube. At first, I thought that it was a product I needed to return until I followed the instructions in the video and now I am able to produce sound. The quality of the wood is pretty decent and the price wasn’t bad.

I'm 56 years old and I've always wanted to learn to play the violin. Based on reviews I decided the Lico was ideal. This is my first close encounter with a violin and its various accessories so my being impressed with the quality of everything that was included for the price won't mean much. There are obviously better cases, rosins, bows, strings, and violins available out there, but what I received suits my needs and expectations. There were two exceptions that explain why I'm giving only 4 stars for craftmanship: 1) It doesn't take an expert to see that the fingerboard is glued on slightly crooked. I suppose this could possibly impact my fingering on another violin...if I could foresee using another violin! 2) The pegs keep slipping, especially the one for the A string. No matter how hard I push that peg in it slips, which finally resulted in me breaking the A string when I tried a bit of wax on the peg and then restrung it wrong. I'm hoping peg compound will help. My advice is to definitely order an extra set of strings with this, sooner or later you'll need them! What to expect: As others have noted, you have to set up the bridge yourself and there are no instructions included on how to do that. Thank goodness for the internet -- I wouldn't have had a clue otherwise -- but I enjoyed figuring it out on my own and consider it valuable education, because of course there are going to be times during normal usage when you'll have to know how to set up the bridge on your own. Ditto tuning, restringing, etc. Nothing comes with the violin to show you how to do these things, so don't expect that. But there's a wealth of wonderful in-depth knowledge to tap online that covers everything from how to play and care for a violin, right down to how to make the shiny new block of rosin transfer to your bow (use a serrated plastic knife to gently dull, not score, the surface of the rosin). I've had my violin for two days and I'm already playing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" -- not WELL, but an achievement nonetheless! :-) Overall, if you're looking for a beginner violin, be it for someone who'll be receiving instruction or for the more determined self-taught among us, then I highly recommend this package.
