This replaced a ceramic skillet used for my husbands breakfasts and weekly fried potatoes. The ceramic skillet started sticking badly. This T-Fal skillet is sooooo much better. It holds up better to his somewhat high heat frying methods. Will get another for the future.

When this arrived it was slightly out of round. I presume it suffered in transit. It is, however, an extremely good pan and has become our frying pan of preference. It requires far less heat than the old TFAL it replaced. We are, therefore, saving on electricity. We are also cutting down on cooking oil since it really is non-stick.

The induction plate on the bottom is circular and does not allow the corners to heat up from the magnetic induction cooktop. However, I find this to be only a minor problem. Stirring distributes the heating. Excellent nonstick surface, easy clean up.

I wanted a pan that was easy to clean but had sides that were deep enough that when I went to scoop out the food it didn't just jump over the side. And I am able to stir the food and scoop it out without it landing on the stove. Also, all my 67 year old pans don't fry right anymore because they were't cleaned properly when I was working so this pan is the beginning of a new set.

I have been cooking for over 40 years. I have probably bought 3 dozen non-stick fry pans over the years. People love cast iron and every decade or so I try using cast iron, but I never stay with it for very long because I just don't find it works well for me. Ceramic is good for a short time, but after 6-12 months, they start to stick. Teflon, Silverstone, and all those other teflon-like pans work for a while and tend to work the best, but the lining flakes off after a while. The only pans I buy now are T-fal. They are REALLY non-stick and seem to last a very long time. Yes, they often cost a little more (but on sale, they are a bargain) but they last and did I mention, they really are non-stick.

1st I have to say that some stores openly sell a quality knock-off labelled 'T-Fal'. I bought one and thought it fine until I realized it was a quality ripoff. The REAL T-Fal has the temperature indicator in the center of the pan, a quality base with T-fal emblazoned on a complex terrain and no shortcuts. This pan is clearly quality and changes your everyday cooking from dull to something from the Champs Ellysee, no matter whether it's pommes frites or pati de foie gras, or just a burger.

We bought this pan for our son for Christmas. We used the pan before he went back to school and loved it so much bought another one for ourselves. It's lightweight and the curved edges makes it really easy to pour out the contents. We use it every day and it does have some scratches on the bottom but they don't seem to affect the pan. Super easy to clean. We have all clad pans but use this pan every day instead.

I followed directions. Seasoned it with a light oiled surface. Waited to the red changed and thus tfal actually did a nuce job used it for two days now nothing stuck. Will try fish later today. I did use a tiny tiny bit of butter. Fir egg. It worked fine without anything but i hate the taste of non stick eggs. Lol I have induction stove top dont use pan over 248 deg. Normally this pan worked fine between 212-248 degrees. Just wait till meter in pan turns red or those little red dots go away.

This is the second one of these I've bought in 6 years. The first one is still usable, but starting to show signs of wear. I do (typically) only use plastic or wooden utensils on this pan, but it offers exceptional value. It seems to be heavier than some of the equally prices competition. Highly recommend.

For the price, I don't think I could find a better pan. It does take a while before the outer edges of the pan are as hot as the center, BUT it's a large pan, so I feel like this is normal. I would definitely buy another one.
