Fun For the Imagination
With the 50th celebration of the moon landing this year, this spaceship is perfect for encouraging young children to think about space travel and outer space. There are many great books on space, the moon landing, other planets and rockets for kids. Our four-year-old is a little young to appreciate all of that, but this rocket ship is a good introduction to whet his learning appetite. He likes to go into this ship and play with his toys, or hide. If your child loves outer space, rockets, space travel, they will probably be delighted with this rocket ship.

Out of this world!
This company really thinks of everything! It takes about 44 minutes to put together- be sure to follow directions carefully! Very well designed and built. My daughter absolutely loved it. They even include ideas for other “games” to play with your rocket ship. All the kids at her party loved it- from ages 3-12!

It’s gigantic
It’s bigger than you would expect. Make sure to assembly in the room you’d like it to live in. Our monster loves it. The wax stick to soften the cardboard is a lifesaver.

This is a must have if you have kids
OMG my grandson loves this so much he will not come out to eat. What a cute little rocket ship. Easy to assemble and at over 4 feet tall is such a cute little playhouse for any child. Pretty bright colors and a hit for a party too.

Sturdiness
My son loves this rocket ship! Construction was easy. My son will have this destroyed in 6 months, the cardboard is not that sturdy. Worth watching the fun he has playing though!

Blast off with your imagination!
Wow, I'm impressed with the quality of this cardboard space ship! We love Melissa & Doug products, so I had high expectations and I am NOT disappointed. This is a large flat shipped package with carefully wrapped parts. Additional smaller pieces are wrapped in smaller brown paper envelopes. Everything is clearly labelled with letters. Assembly is 14 pages long and took about 30 minutes for me to put it together. Lots of little flaps to fold and tuck, but easy to follow! Overall it's sturdy and large enough for both my 5 and 4 year olds to play inside, even standing up. So happy with this. The inside is relatively blank with a few panels you add. I actually let the kids go wild with crayons on the inside! The only negative is the door. It has a great fold for the hinge but an awkward fit where it opens. I'm hoping my kids get the hang of closing it correctly!

Massive but so cool!
HUGE HUGE hit with my 2.5yo. We put it together while he was sleeping and he came out to it in the morning. He was ecstatic, and immediately went "to outer space in [his] rocketship," bringing home moon rocks for us, and having many adventures. He started with pretend play very early, and now at 2.5, this is really appealing to his vivid imagination.

Grandkids Couldn't Wait
I received this as a free product in exchange for an honest review. I doubt I would have paid the $40+ they are asking for it, but the grandkids LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. They opened the package and hauled out all the pieces before my daughter had a chance to assemble them. Presumably the instructions are somewhere in their house- my poor daughter had to assemble it without the directions. But she's smart. She figured it out. The kiddos are 8 and 4, and they love to play in this. They can both fit inside, and they are heavily into space travel and astronauts, so this plays to one of their core interests and gives them lots of opportunity for imaginative play (and squabbling!) I took off a star and rated it poorly for durability and sturdiness. It's cardboard. I know you can't expect a really strong structure from cardboard but on something designed for kids, I would have expected a little more toughness in something from Melissa and Doug. However, if I were rating it only on how much the kids like it, I'd want to go more than 5 stars if it were possible. The kids are happy, and that is the most important thing.
