we got a stainless steel cooktop that we didn't realize would be a pain to clean after every single use. i loved how it looks, but if we have no guests over i'm very much willing to forego the looks over being able to clean the cooktop easier by placing a protector of some sort. i had a few extra bbq grill mats and tried to diy this kind of range protector, but was sadly disappointed that it didn't stand up to the heat-- it was burning on the edge where it touches the burners. the size of the grill mats are also too small for my cooktop. so i decided to just purchase these... LISTEN, these are of different material than the bbq grill mats'. these are thicker and feels sturdier. so far it hasn't had any issues, and the size covers all of my 36-in cooktop.

Makes any stove look new again

These guys are a lifesaver. I always have them on my gas range to keep messes to a minimum. They are kind of tricky to put on but once in place they can make any old stove look new again. Very good material that doesn't burn yet still easy to cut to fit.

Size and thickness are perfect for all stove.I cut it to shape the type and size to fit my own stove top.And it is easy to clean by immersing the grill mat with warm soapy water for a few minutes,then rinse it with clean water and wipe it dry with cleaning cloth.This really helps keep the stove clean I no longer have to clean the stove everyday. Must have for gas stove kitchen

This is the second set of gas stove liner I purchased. If you are true coook, there is no way to have no spill from your pot and pans. The flame also make the grease and stain difficult to clean. This cover is the solution. With this the spill stay on the cover and it’s non stick material for easy cleaning, if it’s extra messy and the spill go under the cover, it’s shield from the direct flame, so won’t get harden by the heat, you will be able to clean up easily. I really like these covers, I don’t think I will ever want to cook without.

happy with purchase

Bought this for my mom so she could replace the foil she uses to cover her stove burners. She thought it was a waste of money for me to purchase it for her but after she found out that it is reusable she was a little more thrilled. She put them on her stove burner and it fit! I love how it is black and blends right in...instead of the wrinkly foil she puts on. So far she is liking it and has no complaints.

Keeping stove top clean especially for heavy cooker

Keep stove top clean and the opening is easy to manage. Although we have a newer version of the stove but trimming the stove opening makes everything fits perfect. Will buy again and probably replace in a couple months when things get messy

Great Product which is better than those made by foil

I found it on the amazon and purchased them for my brand new conter top gas range. I used to use those made by foil. But the problem is that they could not be easily cleaned for reusing. Instead, this stove burner cover are so convenient to clean up and can be reused as long as not physically damaged. Besides, the price is not expensive and reasonable. I like it which has saved my a lot of time to clean the gas range from time to time.

no more messy stove tops

We have the Kitchen aid gas burner and it gets very messy. We tends to cook and tons of oil and debris falls into the cracks and it's absolutely disgusting and difficult to clean. We decided to purchase this product and placed it on top of the stove and it works very well! It does not melt even being placed very close to open flame and it's much easier to pick this up and wash it then to mop the stove top.

Easy gas stove protector

These were thinner than I thought. But at the same time was easy to cut into shape. I had to cut a large hole in the center to avoid the flames. Although it says its fire resistance, one of the corner caught fire and turned silver It didn't burn like a paper. It surely will prevent dripping oil or food from burning. Its easy to wash as well.

Cheap and effective alternative to scrubbing the stove - buy more than you think you need

I'm glad I bought the 8 pack burner covers as opposed to a slightly cheaper 6 pack from another seller. I knew I needed about 6, but I was not confident in cutting them perfectly so I went for the extras. That turned out to be a good idea, and I highly recommend doing that. The covers cut very easily using an x-acto knife. After tracing the stove topper/flame diffuser, I had almost perfect pieces. The trouble I had was in fitting the edges of each sheet to the shape of the stove. The covers are very flexible, but not enough to where the edges can curve up and follow the contour of the my stove. I had to trim the edges, and I ended up trimming my first one way too much. The extras let me do it over. I also used another extra to fill "gaps" in my burner arrangement so it appeared like a full sheet that covered the entire stove. It is much more aesthetically appealing to me that way. As for the material itself.. It is indeed non-stick and easy to clean. It is heat resistant in the sense that the edges of the cover near the flames aren't discoloring or deforming as well. These covers definitely serve their purpose. At 1 dollar a sheet, it is a good deal and worth trying out to avoid having to constantly clean the stove of oil spatters.
