We love this microscope!!!

Homeschooling family. We love this microscope, ease of use, quality of focus. It comes with sample slides and blank slides so the kids have something to look at right away. It takes a little practice to get the knack of focusing, but after a few minutes it's quite easy. This scope provides a nice clear picture. I took some pics with my iPhone for your reference. Very fun to look at stuff on a microscopic level. Now the kids are learning to make onion sample slides!

Buuuuuuugggssss

The microscope can either be plugged in or it has the option to use batteries. I like this feature because being a homeschooler I can use this anywhere with ease. This student microscope also comes with some slides of various insect parts and a few empty glass slides. My youngest absolutely loves looking through the lens and seeing what the smallest of creatures are made of. I would highly suggest buying a few extra sets of slides to use with it. This is an ideal microscope for younger children (under supervision) and junior highschoolers. Oh, I forgot to mention that a set of batteries were included in the packaging and that was really convenient.

Perfect for my kiddos

This was exactly what I was hoping for in a microscope set for my science loving boys who are 8 and 11. This set has everything they need to both explore on their own and also check out the prepared slides that come with it. Its extremely easy to adjust to view for both of them and that is a huge plus in my book. The different zooms also make everything come to life and the fact that it comes with everything they need to take care of it makes it even better as a mom. This will not only provide hours of fun and learning for them but it will be something that they can use for a long time in the future!

excellent beginning microscope

This is NOT a 'little kids' microscope, but is a very nice one and excellent for jr. high and high school work. The lenses are well-ground and the fact that the light can be dimmed is a good advantage.

Exploring the fantastic!

This was a gift for my grandson who is very interested in almost all sciences. To see the excitement on his face as he see new discoveries and worlds he knew nothing about is a gift back to me. He absorbs knowledge like a sponge and I anticipate he will be looking at even a more powerful one when he is older. He has always wanted to be a scientist and this opens up a lot of windows for him to see the world through.

I BELIEVE MY GRANDSON LIKES THIS PRODUCT. TO MY KNOWLEDGE IT HASN'T BROKEN YET. THIS IS AN UPGRADE FOR ONE I PURCHASED WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER. MORE POWER, ETC. IF HE EVER WANTS ANOTHER ONE, I MAY HAVE TO LOOK INTO PROFESSIONAL MICROSCOPE. HOPING HE'S USING THIS.

Great microscope!

Professional level microscope at an entry level price. I bought and returned 3 other microscopes before finding this one. It has all the features I was looking for, unlike any others I came across in the same price range—on/off switch, fine and coarse focus adjustments, and dimmable lighting. It also has crystal clear optics. Very happy with this microscope!

This is Awesome!

I did not expect such good quality, I thought it would be more of a toy but it is a real microscope :D My 3yo is fascinated by it. Thought it might be a little early for him but actually he is having so much fun with it! Easy to use for him and he is busy for hours :D He is learning so much I am just so impressed.

Worth the money

This isn’t fancy or extremely powerful but it works for our homeschool needs. It’s enough to do labs that need to be done. Worth the money.
