It fits the Tacoma hitch and the pin adds a bit of safety.

Solid well made feel, worked great, highly recommended!

Went right into place and towed with no issues. The rubber washers made this a perfect fit for my 2" hitch and the clip added an extra safety feature that makes you confident in the system. Lock was easy to engage and felt secure both before when attaching and during the tow. I like that this came with both the 5/8" and 1/2" pins and also that is completely black to go with my hitch and truck. Customer service followed up and contact me to make sure this worked for my needs and even let me know if i needed anything there were glad to help. That is always a much appreciated extra and honestly good customer service.

You don't need the key in to lock it

My husband has a different style of lock for his hitch and prefers this one. His favorite features include being able to lock the hitch without the key in and he likes the style of key for this product much better. If we were to purchase another hitch lock it would be this one.

Works as Advertised

The hitch lock kit supports two sizes of hitch pin, but I only needed the larger size. The kit comes with two keys that are easy to insert into the lock. Turning the key causes the lock cylinder to pop out, at which time the lock can be removed from the pin. To lock the pin, you insert the lock on the pin and then push in the lock until it clicks. I like this feature when comapred to other locking pins, where you have to hold the lock and try to get the lock to turn when the key is inserted.

I LOVE the double security!

I often worry about the lock on these lockable pins. If I don't set the lock right, will it pop off? Will my hitch pin fall out? Would I drop my trailer? With the Motormic Trailer Hitch Lock Pin, I HAVE PEACE OF MIND!! The #1 selling point for me was the cotter-pin that goes on in addition to the lock. The extra-length of the lock-pin (with removable rubber washers to guarantee a snug, quiet fit) was the #2 selling point. I need the 5/8" lock-pin. They also include the 1/2 pin too, for those who need that size. With the cotter-pin AND the lock, I do not worry about mis-installing the lock mechanism. Thank you!!

Well thought out design / quality materials

Appears to be very well made - solid steel, nicely finished - Design team thought beyond the basic locking premise to include the rubber o-rings and extra pin for security. Lock mechanism & key type are better than the competition. This has all been based on my 1st impressions handling, thorough inspection and locking and unlocking each pin a dozen times. I think it's going to hold up.!

Fits my 2000 Toyota Tundra

Works like a charm. Like the fact that I can lock it by pressing the button with out the key in. Had some meth-head/tweekers steal my last hitch. I hate them and hope they catch fire. Here's also hoping that they realize it's too hard to steal now and move on. Wish I had the time to sit there with my paintball gun, a beer and a lawn chair. That would make my day. lol. Anyways, good product.

Size Matters

Size Matters. I use this on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma pickup. The usual shorter locking pins are just not long enough to fit correctly and can't be secured. The 5/8" version of this pin fits perfect. For the price point, this is a great product and it does exactly what is is supposed to. If you have a full size truck with a large hitch receiver, this is your solution for a locking hitch pin.

Great product/value!

Got an Anderson 5th Wheel hitch (Gooseneck version). Used these to lock hitch onto Gooseneck ball and to lock top ball. Sturdy. Will keep honest people from stealing entire hitch.

the O-rings are a nice touch to prevent any rattling

Heavy built with smooth lock, the O-rings are a nice touch to prevent any rattling. Very secure for a class V hitch.
