We measured effectiveness with $400 in laser air quality sensors, it works pretty well.

We are in the San Francisco Bay Area which has had unhealthy air quality ratings for the past week due to massive fires throughout California - - 200+ outside on the EPA 2.5 AQI particulate scale used on the news lately. "Unhealthy for the entire population" I got $400 in fancy air laser quality sensors, the same that are used by the weather service, and the little 22" GermGuardian. We closed up this air filter in the 400 square master bedroom, not expecting anything huge because this filter is only rated for 160 square feet, but hoping it would help somewhat. Running on high had indoor air qual down from 250+ to the 150's in 30 minutes, and in the low 100s "moderate" after a few hours. Screenshot of air qual readings attached. Note: indoor particulate count of "20" is equivalent to EPA AQI of 90. Note again we were using it in a space 3x bigger than its advertised range so I would say it's working quite as advertised. We bought 2 more to put in smaller rooms and I will try to remember to update this review.

Yes

It's so light and quiet (on the lowest setting) that I was worried about it working properly, but it does! I bought it for my cats because they were having upper respiratory issues, all of which have disappeared the day after receiving and turning this thing on. Very worthwhile purchase!

Life saver

This works really well on the very first day. No real allergy problems since I got it.

I don't have to take allergy medicine anymore!

I used to really struggle with sneezing, itchy nose and eyes every morning getting ready for work. The morning after i turned this thing on I didn't even have any allergic reactions like i normally do, and I haven't since. This has saved me from loading my body with medicine every single morning and night. The air smells better too. I turn on the UV light during the day and turn it on full blast when i leave for work, and then turn the light off at night and turn it down to level 2 since level 3 is a little loud for sleeping.

It works great

Took it out of box , plugged it in and noticed the next morning that my nose was clear. Takes odors out of air and is very quiet. I like it.

Quiet and works great!

Bought this when we had the awful fires in Northern California. I could smell the smoke inside my apartment. But, this filter seemed to work great, because within a few minutes of turning it on, the smell went away. It's also fairly quiet, a light fan, so I barely notice it's on. Liked so much, bought one for my mom as well.

A true Dust Fighter!!

I truly love this HEPA..It may be small but very POWERFUL!! I love how its such a space saver..It really gets odors gone!! A MOST HAVE!!

Quiet unit

We needed a good air cleaner for my Wife's breathing and allergy issues. She sleeps in a hospital bed and has the unit in the room with her and the noise level is minimal. She has no trouble sleeping. I recommend this air purifier highly.

worth it !!!!

Awesome!!! Well worth the money. In one day roughly 2hrs the master bedroom/ bathroom I noticed a huge difference. I have two dogs. Moved it to the living room with open kitchen off of it and in 24hrs a complete difference.. it’s a much larger space . I will be buying another one. This has helped my allergies and asthma especially at night.
