Nice phone

I could not get the screen time out to change until I did a hard factory reset...it must be the new software that it installed when I reset is. The reset is easy because you don't have to hold several buttons at the same time. There is a display timeout button in the settings. My suggestion is to do a factory reset before you even start setting it up. Nice pictures

My phone is having a slight problem with battery usage. Wife's phone is fantastic

J7 is locked

I am sorry for the confusion, I did order unlocked sansumg Galaxy J7, and I received a new phone complete locked, can you unlock my two cellphone??

Total Wireless version worked great out of the box.

Received this phone via USPS on a Sunday afternoon, 3 days early. Excellent. Transferred my SD card and all of my apps from my previous Total Wireless phone that had too old of OS to run my new business apps and ported over my Phone Number in less than two minutes without any calls to Total Wireless at all. This cellphone has more than enough memory to run my business from since it has a HD 5.5inch screen and good clean mono sound. The phone was on sale at the time I purchased it so the price was very nice for what I received. Highly recommend this for general and even some advanced usage as I am using it.

A good upgrade.

I replaced the Luna with this model and I'm am not disappointed. It has a larger screen and seems to have better volume as well.

Good budget phone

I'm coming from an LG X Power phone with android 6.1. With android 8.1 (Oreo) I can do picture-in-picture, so I can listen to Youtube videos while browsing the internet, or whatever else. Which reminds me of an issue. The phone comes with no instructions, or built-in tutorials, so it took some searching to find out how to make use of the picture-in-picture features, and I still haven't figured out how to use all the camera features. There was a booklet in the box with the phone, but it only has warnings about health dangers of cell phones. The J7 Crown very nearly hangs with the X Power for battery life. The X Power has a 4100mAh battery. Instead of using brute force, the J7 shuts down apps, to make the smaller battery run almost as long. I can generally go a whole day of normal use on 50% of the battery, you could maybe do better by using more power saver features than I'm using. Transferring apps and data from my old phone was easily done, wirelessly. If you have an older phone, you may need to download a free app for the older phone in order to transfer data. The power button is on the right side of the phone, near the top, opposite the volume buttons. This is pretty much the worst possible spot for a power button. The power button is also very easy to press. In the span of 2 or 3 weeks, I've accidentally turned it off about a half dozen times. This is a good phone if you are trying to avoid using data. I can cruise from one wifi connection to another, and go offline, without the phone constantly bugging me to connect to connect to data. The LG would do that, and sometimes lock up in the process.

Get a case and protective shield

Very nice, but I didn't realize that it was sealed. Also very slippery. Won't last long without a case and shield. I had to change the 3 stars to 5. This phone is almost as great as it's precedent the Galaxy J7 Sky Pro. (I like the removable battery). I only had this phone for about a month, or until my daughter declared it hers. Hence the reason for buying another. Makes really great photos, the picture quality is outstanding. Great for listening to music and big enough to watch movies or play games on it.. it's also very and has a long battery life.

Great buy for an excellent model.

Although an older model, it performs well and is versatile. Internal memory adequate, memory card capacity range is excellent. Photo quality at 8 mp is very good.
