Punches pretty holes!

Excellent product. Did what it was intended to do. I only used it on a couple of pieces of leather but worked excellent.

No Regrets

This set of leather punches from OWDEN is all that I need. I am not a professional or in business making or repairing leather articles. No, I am not. Occassionally, I need to punch a few holes in leather and even cardboard for some projects at home. This Set of Leather Punches from OWDEN has proven me to do its intended job flawlessly. It even comes with a piece of material to prevent to punch hitting a hard surface ~after punching the substrate~ and hurt the sharp part of it. No regrets with this purchase.

It works!

My husband keeps losing weight. I expect to use that size punch a lot. The others will be on hand if I need them. I did have to use a hammer rather vigorously to get it through all the layers of his belt.

Work great!

I used these to punch a hole in my belts and they worked great. I'm glad with my purchase. These appear to be sharp and I like the little board they provide so that you can punch over it.

great product

got these for punching holes in my pants so i could install snaps. works great and i did 4 pairs of pants with them with no issue. the cutting mat is a cool little gift they ad on but i dont think it will last too long

Working well on thick leather!

I bought these to punch holes in leather for travelers notebooks. I really only need the smallest size at this point. It has worked really well, so far and I've been using some really tough, thick leather. So far, no signs of dulling!

Worked for Me

I needed to make some 1/2" holes in a chair cover for my desk chair to attach grommets to. This worked for me, and now I have hole punches in case I need them in the future. As for durability, I did not use it enough to say, but if you get carried away, and not pay attention to what side is up when you hammer it, well, they do dull . . . but I still was able to finish what I needed it for. Should be able re-sharpen if I need it sharper

I was wrong

I bought these because I needed to get through one project. They were less expensive than some others so I thought they wood be just good enough for this project. I was wrong.... they're great. These tools are quite sturdy and will last quite a long time. I've only used them with deer skin but I'm sure they'd go through just about anything.

Saving money

It’s a great item to use for what I need it for. In fact, they just came out with the original product when I bought this punch set. The original product that was made for making holes in card crafting is way more expensive. So if I can save money buying other items, so be it.

Better than expected

Needed a new hole in a belt. Bought these for less than what it would cost to get it done. Worked fine. IF your looking for something to show off on your workbench pass on these. IF you just need some VERY usable hardened punch's then you will be happy with these.
