I love that this machine relies on modern technology--ipad-tablets or smartphone to get your karaoke apps. We had an older model, which you had to purchase CDs for once you exhausted the 20 or so songs that came loaded into the machine. Possibilities are endless-- you can get any song on any app to pair with this. This is also very compact in size, but sound is great. It works as a bluetooth speaker if you just want to listen to tunes (so 2 fold function). The microphone quality is great and I especially love all the cool features, like the lights and voice effects, which our old one didn't have (it was just your voice and music). This is like having a disco party to go--music, lights and effects! I would recommend if using with a large group, to use a tablet, as the phone font is a bit small for more than 2 people. We used our iPad and it worked great for 6 of us singing along!

Great family fun!

Purchased this for my 79-year old mother (it's what she wanted) for Christmas! Boy, did we have a lot of fun Christmas Eve...singing, dancing and laughing. Easy to connect to iPad, good quality and sound! Now we just need another microphone for duets!

Excellent Purchase

This small device packs a punch. Great sound and fun for all ages. I've seen a lot of questions about hooking it up to your TV set. There's actually a way. You'll need a laptop with bluetooth. What you have to do is pair your laptop to your SINGSATION through bluetooth, then use a HDMI cable to hook up your laptop to your TV. Leave your TV on mute. As for songs, you won't be able to use a karaoke app., but there's millions of karaoke songs options on Youtube.

Great little karaoke machine!

I was pleasantly surprised how loud the speaker was on such a little machine. It pairs effortlessly with a tablet or a phone. The voice special effects made us laugh. You can sound like a family of chipmunks or like a Barry White. Microphone is very sturdy and picks up voices nicely.

Small in size, big in sound and fearures

We love this singstation karaoke machine! Don't let the small size fool you, this thing gets loud! Set up was a breeze, it connected quickly to my phone's Bluetooth. The Multi color light effect is a really nice touch, and the 3 voice enhansers as well as the sound effects (kids favorite is the DJ horn) are fun! The small size make it easy to carry from room to room. Our oldest uses it as a Bluetooth speaker when she's not singing with it. Overall we're very happy with this purchase.

Great for family entertainment

Easy to use and connect via Bluetooth. I've had a lot of fun singing and goofing with my family. My favorite is the Voice FX button on the speaker, allowing me to change my voice hilariously. Great sound and microphone quality from the speaker, I would recommend this to my friends.

It's a party waiting to happen!

I originally bought this for a small function at work, but it is so much fun! We opened it and the kids loved it. It's small and portable with no cluncky karaoke screen. We ended up using Amazon's X-RAY vision to sing-along to. Bluetooth, voice changer and lights... It's a party waiting to happen!

Easy to use!

What a fun little machine! The Singsation was easy to set up (didn't even need the instructions), and comes with a microphone. It can make your voice low or like a chipmunk, and has an echo special effect! It's also small and portable- about the height of a magazine or iPad.

Great for everyone.

This is a great little system, I originally bought this for my daughter but it works so well we have used it for bbqs and weekends out in the backyard. Stream any music from a phone or tablet or let the kids karaoke there favorite songs. You will use this more than you think.
