Love these. I can finally enjoy TV again. I have some hearing deficit that makes catching parts of words difficult with the inflection of voices especially with other noise around. I'm crying bc I didnt realize just how much I had become so used to not being able to watch TV or movies or audiobooks. As a mom with a rowdy tot I am so grateful to have one of loves simplest pleasures restores. This device was super easy to connect. I had it running within just a few minutes. I watched a whole movie without captioning at all and could hear very clearly. The earplugs do not hurt my ears like many others do. They are very lightweight but stay in my ear well and they are highly flexible. I love that I can hear even with one in and not miss a thing. The other earplug I am not listening to attached magnetically to the other so I can hear the TV and my child or not if I dont want to. Battery life lasted for hours without a single charge. I am so pleased. Thanks!

I've had this hooked up for a few weeks now. After the initial pairing the NB16 phones connect every time the transmitter powers up with the TV and the phones are turned on. I like this system so much I bought the HS063 over ear headphones and paired them as a 2nd set. Sound quality is excellent on either the NB16 or HS063. Lip sync is perfect while watching TV. I notice no lag at all. Battery life seems very good. I haven't kept track but I've only had to recharge 3 times in the last 2 weeks. No matter what audio output your TV might have, Avantree includes the correct connecting cable. They also include a variety of tips for the NB16 that I tried to get the best fit for me.

I live in an apartment and purchased the headphones to avoid disturbing neighbors with my late night TV viewing. I have never even set up a DVR so when I opened the box and saw so many cables I was initially intimidated. Step 1 of the instructions showed a picture of each connector/cable and its name as well as a picture of the type of outlet it would plug into. For a novice like myself that doesn't know the difference between an RCA Jack and an Optical Out this made set-up very easy. I was especially impressed that the set-up was exactly as the instructions explained. I have purchased other items with set-up instructions that either had steps missing or hadn't been updated from previous models. I was able to complete the setup on the first try. I then realized there were so many cables because there were extra cables for other TV models that I wouldn't need to use. Instructions include an FAQ sheet, a trouble shooting sheet, and contact information for support. The headset is comfortable and the volume adjusts easily with my TV remote. I have used the headset for four days. It is very lightweight and the sound quality is very good. I cannot fully address the battery life or durability at this point. I can only say that I haven't had to recharge after eight hours of use and appears sturdy. I am very satisfied with the ease of set-up, quality, functionality, and price.

As full time RVers, it's hard for my wife to get away from TV noise when sleeping. After checking reviews vs price, these seemed like a good option. Simple hook up, I used the optical cable, let it sync, and I was ready. I'm not an audiophile so I can't comment on the quality of the sound, but for watching average shows, some racing, and occasional rock and roll or blues concerts, these work fine. I didn't time the battery life, but they worked over a period of a few days. I found that it charges fine with my phone charger so it's one less cable laying around. Comfortable to wear, for ME, and easy to adjust without looking for buttons. I may get another for the outside TV.

Bought this and an extra set of earbuds. My wife and I are both using, and so far, very good. So, for less than a $100 bill, we have clear sound from our TV without disturbing others. Range appears to be approximately 30 feet; plenty enough to not be tied down to the living room. We don't know the battery life just yet as we have recharged after a few hours usage; haven't tried to use until the battery is dead. Was super easy to connect, just need to remember to turn on earbud A ahead of earbud B. If B is turned on first, then A won't connect. Minor inconvenience that isn't really worth mentioning. Also, very comfortable to wear, no weight pulling down on ears, like some other models. Also, we have headphones hooked up to our TV and cannot use for any length of time as they are uncomfortable. Buy these earbuds, they are worth it.

This is a good piece of a combination and ready out of the box. The headphones are already paired to AudiKast's channel A and once you plugged in the transmitter (to power and your audio source), you're good to go. The channel B of transmitter is left free and you could connect to another device (in my case to a Bluetooth speaker). The little LED indicators show the connection of the channel as well as connection type (which is reassuring and something which lacks in the earlier Priva transmitter models). One more convenience is that you could simply delete one channel and re-pair with another device without affecting the other channel's connected device. For instance, I could delete Bluetooth speaker in Channel B and pair another headset without affecting the headset which I know already paired to channel A. You also get all the connection cables and only needs a USB 5V power source, which are abundant these days. if you want your TV remote to work for your connected Bluetooth device (i.e. rather than fiddling with your connected Bluetooth headphone's / speaker's volume), then you should plug this into the headphone out of your TV. In modern TVs, the quality difference to an optical source is barely noticeable; but if you connect transmitter to the audio optical out, then your TV's remote will not attenuate the audio volume that goes to the transmitter and you must then use the listing device's volume controls. The sound quality in this might slightly be better, but I still prefer the convenience of plugging this to the headphone out jack. Even if you have plugged into headphone out of the TV, most modern TV's also let you switch to TV speakers and headphone or both, using the audio settings menu in the TV (without actually having to remove this jack). The headphones are reasonably comfortable for extended use and the battery life is excellent and I think the two bulges in the neck band are batteries, which promises this 20 hour battery life (although I haven't used them for straight 20 hours to test this out..). Charging is simple and easy to see with the red LED. I have made this a little more versatile with plugging magnetic micro USB jack and cable, which means the micro USB port will not wear out over time. Haven't noticed any sync delays with my TV programs, so I believe that the low latency APTx works. Durability? Well it looks solidly made, but these are the early days. What needs to be seen is that with time, whether the wires / insulation in the cord will still be durable. For that, one needs to regularly use this for few months anyway.

This has worked wonderfully for my 87-year-old father. We don't have to have the TV blaring. It's simple enough for him to use. It seems to hold a charge well. Overall, we're calling it good for now.

These work great! I have a stereo receiver connected to our TV. I connected the transmitter through the receiver headphone jack (needed to use my own adapter as the receiver does not use a 3.5mm headphone plug), connected to power, charged the earbuds - and bing -- they connected immediately and they sound great! (Note, when I say "sound great," I am not an audiophile and these are earbuds, not high-end headphones. I've gone through my share of inexpensive and cheap earbuds and headphones, and I've owened some mid-range headphones. In that context, and for what you pay, these sound GREAT!) Now, the TV is quiet and piece reigns throughout the house! The other day, I walked from the room with the TV to our garage -- two walls, one heavy door, and a whole bunch of electronic interference away -- the sound was perfect. This was one of the best investments I've made in some time. I also added a set of wireless headphones from Avantree. They also work great with this set (and my computer). The only kink is that sometimes when pairing and unpairing these headphones to the Aventree transmitter, it causes my earbuds to loose their pairing and I have to pair and repair a few times with each to get everyone happy again -- but, I expect some of this is user error, as well. Two thumbs way up from a very happy customer!

Easy to set up. Still learning about battery life, but I expect it will be as advertised. Had one question for customer support,. They were easy to contact and replied within the same day. I live in apartment and like watching TV late at night in bed. I have broken a few headphone when i fall asleep and roll on them. These TV earbuds were what i was looking for I love them, I really do. Set up in minutes and work. I only asked customer support if i could leave the transmitter on All the time. They said yes. I really love these TV earbuds.

When I bought this product it wasn't able to go into USB mode in order to use the microphone. I use Discord a lot and game online as well on Rainbow Six Seige where communication is key. And having a non working microphone is a deal breaker for me. I immediately emailed Avantree Customer Service and over the course of several emails we were able to determine that the unit was faulty. In order to use the microphone on PC the device need to be in USB mode upon plugging it into the computer (it should do this automatically when plugged in). It didn't go into USB mode no matter what computer I plugged it into. I sent photos I took with my phone of it plugged in and not going into USB mode which probably sped up the process of troubleshooting and doing the return. They sent me a new one first and asked me to send me the faulty one back, which I did. The new one works great and after 4 months of use still works perfectly. What's great is that you can even use the bluetooth headphones on the go with your phone and the microphone works clearly. The ear buds have a magnet on them so when you are not using them while they are on your neck just clip them together and they wont fall of you. I don't know if I can recommend them for jogging but if you wear a jacket or a collared shirt, you can put the band under them and have it on all day without falling off as well. All in all the customer service was fast, clear and friendly. And the product is useful in many situations.
