Great for small jobs!
Since there are just two of us to cook for most days this spiralizes/slices everything I need it to easily and quickly. This one might require too much elbow grease if continuously cooking for a big family though. I suffer some arthritis in my hands and wrists but using this for a couple of veggies at a go didn't bother me. It would be a lot harder on my hands (eyes and sanity too) trying to do all that fancy cutting with a knife. If the burden is too great at holidays, well, other hands can turn the dial for me. I'm overall very happy with this product because I didn't want to store anything bigger nor did I want a model that required batteries or electrical outlets. This unit cleans well. I just tap it to clear anything that might be stuck in the blade as soon as I finish using it then give it a hot rinse. Then when I'm ready to do dishes I swish it through hot sudsy water and rinse well. I can foresee it becoming trickier to clean if I let stuck fruit or veg dry up on the blades. However a hot soak and a careful scrub with a bottle brush would probably take care of that problem. What I wouldn't do is put my fingers anywhere near those razor sharp blades. That is a another point to consider. If you have young kids, be sure to supervise them should they want to use this. Lock it away afterward. This cute little thing is fun to use and looks a lot like a toy but it really isn't one. Unless they are told, kids won't realize that it can be a danger. This spiralizer is a useful little workhorse that sufficiently replaces an old broken mandolin, weighs next to nothing, and requires less than 4 x 4 x 4 inches to store in a drawer or cupboard, all of which made it the perfect addition to my already cluttered kitchen.

It really works
I look for this product in the local stores when I started on the Keto diet. I couldn't find it locally so I bought it on line , not knowing what it really was. I had never heard of a Zoodle maker so when it came in I was excited to try it. I loved it. It is easy to use and it also gives a great presentation to a variety of vegetables. I would recommend this product and encourage people to buy it. I bet it will also help kids eat their vegetables.

Easy to use spiralizer
This handheld spiralizer requires no batteries, is easy to use and works! There are three blade options to choose from. You can do spaghetti like, fettuccine like spirals, a combo of the two or just ribbons. I choose to use a cucumber and I will say the ribbon option worked the best for me. The other ways worked as well just not as good as the ribbon. Beware of the blades because they are sharp. I would definitely recommend this product because of how well it worked and how easy it is to use.

Finally found a "small" solution for making zoodles
I've owned other handheld zoodle makers in the past, but each was eventually banished to Goodwill for one reason or another. They all failed in some critical way. But I did not give up: I was determined to find a hand-held zoodle maker that was small, easy-to-use, safe to use, and simple to clean. This product checks all of those boxes. What I like: - It's small, but not too small. This makes is easier for me to hold than some of the smaller devices. - If used as designed, my fingers stay nice and protected from the blade. - It's easy to clean; most of the time it seems to require only a bit of rinsing with hot water. - It doesn't get jammed up. - It is a cheerful color and easy to spot in the cupboard/dish strainer. - It makes nicely shaped zoodles in two sizes (although they might not be as thin as what some people might like) I've eaten more zucchini in the last few weeks than I have in the last few years, all thanks to this little device. It's nice to add a new veggie into my regular rotation!

So handy! A must for the kitchen!
This is a handy dandy gadget! Easy to clean and use. Makes ribbons, fettuccine or spaghetti noodles out of vegetables. So cost effective in making your own instead of buying those pre prepared small bags of vegetables! It doesn’t take up much space! Yes the blades and spikes inside the cap are sharp. I used a soft kitchen brush for cleaning those parts. This is a gadget I’ll probably wear out! Made my own curly and shoestring fries! I will use it a whole lot this summer! Everyone needs one or two of these!

Love it!
Great product. My spirals look great and this product is easier to use than I thought it was going to be. I like that it is also small and doesn’t take up a bunch of valuable cupboard space. I have already recommended it to several people!

Surprisingly great product!
This spiralizer is a really great product. I Love that there is no need for changing out blades just press a button to change how it cuts. It doesn't take much work to create perfect spirals, it's easy to clean, and compact enough to put in a drawer. You can make perfectly spiraled veggies very fast it has 3 different spirals 1 button is for fettuccine, 1 is for spaghetti, and the default is for ribbon. The buttons are very easy to press and the product feels sturdy. The food holder is great for keeping fingers away from the blade and using the entire vegetable. All in all this is a great product with a great price, it is definitely worth the money and I highly recommend it.

Easy to Use!
This spiralizer is small and does not take up a lot of space, which I find to be a huge plus. I love that there are three spiral cut size options and that you can change the size with a push of a button. This spiralizer is easy to use and easy to clean. I would recommend to others as a good value!

wonderful, fun, functional, & petite
Surpassed my expectations! This is a cute great item that works! And it's petite, which is perfect for my small space. I've had fun making long noodles w/ beets (see photo of beet-spaghetti :), cucumbers & zucchini so far. Looking forward to sweet potato & butternut squash. The only thing I've had challenge w/ so far is carrot~ I think I'll need a very WIDE carrot, to successfully spiralize longer noodles (w/ average carrot, once I press it onto "corer/stand", outer part of carrot splits a bit simply due to carrot-narrowness~ what comes out the blade are individual thin crescent-moon curves, rather than long noodles. still very cute & tasty). As one reviewer wrote, this spiralizer-size/model is good, when cooking for 1-2 (would be a bit more elbow-grease/wrist-action than ideal for larger crowds~ you'll prob want to invest in bigger one w/ crank handle for mechanical advantage, for that). Love it! Really fantastic. Updating review: Some new helpful tips, observations, & more photos~ now that I've had many opportunities to use this great item: ~Actual use of instrument~ I've found placing the veggie on blade/top-surface & pressing down firmly, then turning the *actual spiralizer base" as it's pressed against counter-top or plate (not turning the veggie), works best/smoothly, & less tiring on the wrists (when I tried turning the veggie on the blade, while pressing down, was more awkward / bumpy.) ~Root veggies work very easily! Beets, carrots & sweet potatoes all spiralize superbly as "spaghetti" (see photos). ~Carrot note: At first I had difficulty with them splitting, but now have discovered 2 solutions: (a)wider carrots do indeed work more succesfully. (b) However, not necessary since~ surprisingly~ simply allowing the carrot to be a little less crisp/ slightly-"deydrated" (I leave carrot in fridge, w/o plastic bag keeping moisture in) makes it "rubbery" enough to spiralize w/o splitting! It works great. ~Summer squash is lovely too (ie- zucchini). ~Cooking times~ All noodles cook way faster than the same veggies normally do, when chopped or cubed (of course). So~ keep it fast, once noodles hit the boiling water. Re. zucchini/summer-squash esp~ you hardly need to cook these noodles at all (just super-quick "flash" in boiling water)~ this keeps the noodles perky; otherwise they can get way mushy (happened to me the first couple tries, when I left in boiling water too long). ~Cucumbers~ I find these are most attractive either as "ribbons" (see 2nd photo) or as "fettucine" (see 3rd picture). Tho' they can be spiralized as the thinner "spaghetti" too, I found their soft seeds/center pulped up amidst the "spaghetti" noodles & looked a li'l messy (looks more "crisp" as ribbon or fettucine). Yum. Enjoy. ~The only food I did not have great success with was butternut squash. I thought it would be perfect (soft yet firm) but once noodles are cooked, they really crumble. I tried "spaghetti" first which crumbled even before cooked; then tried "fettucine" which held well raw, but broke up on plate, once cooked (see 3rd photo, butternut squash 'broken" fettucini underneath perky carrot "spaghetti"). I guess it's texture is just a bit too crumbly non-cohesive for hanging out as long noodles.

Pleasantly surprised
I’m shocked at how great this product is. Is makes perfect veggie spirals with ease. It’s cleans up quickly and is super easy to store. I love that it can just be tossed into a drawer. The price doesn’t hurt either in fact I’m over the moon that I didn’t purchase one of the bigger more expensive models because this on does the trick nicely.
