Hasn't failed once to read.

Seems to do exactly what it says. Reads fingerprints with wet hands, lotion, really dry hands. Opens instantly. Hinge not showing on door like other quick safes. Not the thickest material but not a requirement for use. Backup code takes up to 6 digits which is comforting over just 4. Keys have tactile rubber so you can find them in the dark easily. Drilled two holes and mounted vertically on wall with door opening downward like a shelf. Used magnetic mounts for contents. Added wi-fi door sensor that triggers phone app in seconds if someone does get it open when not around. Only weird isssue was key hole cover. Broke in first minute out of box trying to figure out how to open it. Tried 4 or 5 other drop down or quick safes and all had 50% fingerprint recognition. This one just works.

Great buy I love this safe.

I was surprised at how sturdy and easy to use this safe is. I can store as many fingerprints as I need so my wife and I both have quick and easy access. The keypad has large buttons and no matter if you use the keypad or fingerprint the door pops open fast and quiet.

Biometric needs more fine tuning

Great safe. But did not work for my needs. And the biometric is not very reliable. The key works best. But with seconds of notice, it’s not as easily accessible when needed

Finger print works every time I have tried it. Good price. Had to buy a different one in addition to this one. This one is in the wife’s nightstand and my nightstand is a little smaller and this one wouldn’t fit otherwise I would have bought 2!

Great safe for EDC gun and more at a fraction of the cost.

This is a nice product at the fraction of the cost of other tabletop gun safes. I was looking for something that I could store my EDC in when I get home so my kids can't get to it and this was a good choice. After getting the code setup and the fingerprint scanner setup it works great. Other products like this would cost $250 or more. This one is not quite as aesthetic as other gun safes like The Gun Box or Vaultek, but I'm perfectly fine with how it looks for this price. Plus people don't go into the room where it is in the nightstand anyways. This holds my EDC gun, holster, wallet, knife, and spare magazine. Works great. I like how fast the lid opens to be able to access my gun so quickly. Another feature that is nice is that you can silence it so it makes no noise. If your looking for a great EDC safe for your nightstand this is it. Hope to buy a couple more too. Thinking about buying one for family members to keep their EDC carry in. Bottom line great product at a great price.

Sturdy gun box. Using it for quick / semi quick access. Fingerprint reader is so so and I find it faster to use the 6 digit pin to enter. It’s hydraulic assisted opening is awesome

Best Bang for your Buck!

I love this! Not like, LOVE! The thickness of the metal is far better than most boxes I’ve seen. Predrilled holes so you can mount to a floor, desk, wall pretty much anywhere. The touchpad is a little sensitive but 9 out of 10 times opens right up no issue. Thank goodness there is a mute function because the audible beep from the buttons is so loud you would alert any intruder by entering the codes. It comes with the foam pad, but to be honest I don’t like it and replaced it with a thin piece of felt so I could use my magnet to hold things up as it’s mounted on the wall. Perfect size and slim fits nice and concealed. And the price!?? You can not beat it! The instructions are very clear and very easy. The keys are actual solid cut keys not just the little safe keys, I like that because I won’t lose these. If I had to nit pick I would say the noise from the mechanical latch is a little loud, but again that’s if I wanna nitpick. Overall very happy with this product, shipping was next day and everything is perfect! Ordering a second one for the first floor of the house!

Sturdy and reliable.

Very sturdy and heavy. Programming is very simple and fast. The lid opens quietly and the piston is very strong. The fingerprint scanner works well. It is picky about finger location but you can register the same finger multiple times using different points to allow a more reliable function.

quick access

Good fun safe for the money. Took me several tries to set it. Re-read the instructions several times but eventually got it working to my satisfaction.
