Excellent keyboard! It replaced my Logitech. A popup design with stand/notch would've been more elegant and thinner. Using it with iPad Pro and iPad Air 2. Cons: heavier than I expected, and it's hard to remove the iPad from it. Otherwise I feel very happy with this purchase. Great tactile feedback, the colors are dope, best functionality of any iPad keyboard I owned. Programming demands hardcore typing because it requires access to full keyboard functions; this is the first iPad keyboard I've used for hard programming work without feeling limited or frustrated.

Works great!!

I purchased this keyboard for the iPad 2018 and I absolutely love it!! Having been an iPad user for some time there have been many keyboard purchases by me , this one is by far my favorite! With various other keyboard cases there was an issue with it being top heavy once the keyboard snaps into the case, with this one you will not have that problem. This keyboard is snug fitting and very lightweight. You also have the option of turning the lights off, choosing between various colors and brightness. I find that the layout of the keyboard and the feel of the keys is perfect for my needs. I am actually surprised of the quality of the keyboard considering the price. Another thing I would like to mention is the excellent customer support from Yekbee. Initially there was a lighting issue on the keyboard, once Yekbee was made aware of the programming error they immediately fixed it and shipped me out a new keyboard as well as offering a refund. I have received numerous follow up emails and phone calls to make sure that I was satisfied. This company truly cares about the quality of their products and the customers who purchase them. In this day and age I find that to be a rarity and I am throughly impressed!

Really well designed product

I've reviewed many products, but when it comes to BT keyboards, most, non-Apple will have some delay after the keyboard goes to sleep or times out. I'm happy to find that this does not delay like so many others. The overall design of the keyboard is well thought out and documented. Lots of useful keyboard functions that extend it's use and the keys are very responsive. My only wish is that it were a bit lighter. However, according to weight of other competing case / keyboards for the iPad 9.7 it's appears among the lighter of those. While listening to music, the keyboard backlight turns on at random (or maybe when the song changes). Not sure why, but instead, if I leave the backlight on the dimmest setting (to help save battery life), it's fine. Again, overall, this is the best keyboard / case I've seen and for the price. Great case and keyboard

This keyboard case is fantastic. It is well built and protects my iPad very well. The keyboard layout makes emailing and texting super easy, and the various shortcut keys make app management a breeze. Setup was a snap. As soon as turning the keyboard on, my iPad immediately found it and linked up. The package contained 4 slim self-adhesive rubber doodads that can be inserted into the corners of the case's top in the event that the iPad fits loosely. Mine fit very tight...so tight in fact that it was very difficult to remove it from the case. Since I generally don't need a keyboard for most of my iPad uses, I simply set the iPad into the bottom of the frame and type away. I highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a cost-effective, protective, keyboard type case. I also recommend installing a tempered glass screen protector on your iPad for additional protection and avoiding those troublesome and ugly fingerprints.

excellent product; excellent service

This is my second purchase of this product as the first was stolen after a year of use. Both times I have found the folks at Yekbee willing and able to help with my questions. I highly recomment their products and service. They are receptive to feedback about how to improve any features. I had a small difficulty with the backlighting and it was immediately addressed. This keyboard turns your ipad into a mini laptop, very easy to used and sturdy.

Nice keyboard for my iPad!

All good here. I chose rose gold to match my rose-gold lPad Air. Battery life and durability seem fine, although I haven’t had it long enough to make a firm judgment.

Quality and design seem great. Keep in mind this doesnt give you a mouse function on a tablet.

The company seems committed to customer satisfaction. The fit, the design and the function all seem top notch. The lid that actually holds the tablet seems a slight bit tincy quality plastic, well good for protection and look, but the feel is a little off from what i expected on the lid and hinge part only, not keyboard itself. Speaking of which the feel of the keys to me seems very nice and high quality not cheap for the price of this item...for the price of a well made, cool colors and well functioning accessory you cant expect much more on the lid really for the price..id probably pay a decently higher price for one if it had like a stronger feeling hinge and almost grip coated feeling plastic on the lid part, but really once the tablet is placed in it, it all seems strong and well made. I did not keep mine, because it occured to me that its not exactly like the use of a laptop in that its still a tablet and this keyboard doesnt just magically give you use of a mouse while using the keyboard, so i found myself w a new ipad i need to flip around on alot to learn using it and having it in the case on the keyboard made it a cumbersome process to use the ipad, unless specifically just continuously typing in an email or word project etc. But then again i have been working on so many things from a tablet previous to this ome that I'm really used to typing from the screen, but of course for actual long hours at a screen or professional puntctuated documents like creating a resume or writing and article or something, a keyboard gets mandatory. I happen to be on extremely tight busget and right now just need a protective case at least until i learn it. if funds werent an issue, i might kept and used it as way to travel light and keep it protected and keyboard ready, but really simce this one doesnt fold over like just a tablet, makes it a little not what i need most, is to be able to pick up and hold it like a tablet and do functions on the tablet. I'm gonna try bluetoothing a seperate keyboard all together with a case that uses a stand to hold it up and type that way when i need to.

Turns Your’ iPad into an apple laptop!

I’m using it as I write this, connecting, AND using it is easy, & hassle free... the ONLY complaint I have is the fact that the keyboard light sporadically turns itself on sometimes (when You have it set to OFF), but holding in the color+light keys till it blinks USUALLY makes it stop. I am completely satisfied with everything else, the battery life is great, the keyboard (AND case) are made of quality HARD plastic, once You snap Your’ iPAD into it though, it is REALLY hard to get it out (which doesn’t affect Me because I use the slot that’s covered for a SIM card for mobile data), so if You want to change micro SD cards, it will be a hassle, I’d say just get a HUGE card, & leave it in there. I ordered a REALLY pretty neon blue color, but when it came it’s grape purplish... not a big deal as I like the color, but if they do this OFTEN, I can see customers being unhappy with say ordering a green one, & getting baby vomit brown. If You want to protect Your’ iPAD, & EVER type on it, this is a MUST have (because the others that’re available are flimsy JUNK, and fall apart after limited use... I sent back the 1st keyboard I purchased, & it was made of cardboard covered in thin plastic “fake” leather, & no doubt would have fallen apart quickly [as some reviews complained about as well]) So all things considered I’, QUITE satisfied all around, but I SHOULD be annoyed with the keyboard light, & wrong color being sent.

If you’re debating on whether not to buy this.. And the debate and buy it now! Seriously. This keyboard case is top-of-the-line for the price. I’ve had it a little over one month and have only had to charge it once! Takes about three hours or so to charge. Pairing and the device with my iPad was simple, took about 30 seconds. I’ve read Other reviews saying they had pairing options or problems with keys not working, so far I have had neither problem. Before I purchased I did inquire about their warrantee and it is a one year or 30 day moneyback guarantee. The case is a little on the heavy side, but you get used to it. I do like that the keyboard is actual case also, some are just keyboards with no backing. To sum it up for you - I don’t think you’re going to find a better deal for this price/quality.

I have only had this keyboard for 4-5 days and plan to update you on this! So far so good! I have had nothing but headaches with the Logitech slimcomb for my ipad gen 5-6. I purchased it with my ipad last year. The 1st one only lasted a bit over the warranty period and I credit Logitech with honoring the product outside of warranty NEITHER of them lasted very long with the product! if you go to Logitech’s website and read the forums you will see this has been a HUGE problem for Logitech’s Slim Combo! Had I did the research I would have just looked elsewhere. I just figured Logitech has become a household name now a days that I couldn’t have gone wrong. BOY WAS I WRONG THERE!!! Skip to YEKBEE! HOLY COW! Right out of the box this keyboard is cool! This keyboard gave me NO PROBLEMS right out of the box! Connectivity second or 2 and it was connected! Lag time? Next to nothing! I’m typing this review on it now! I wanted a backlite board and did get used to the Logitech there so thats one reason I picked this keyboard. The fact that this has 10 different color options just adds to the wow factor. It’s cool to play with I have to admit that. The most important thing to me when looking for a keyboard was accuracy of the type as I manage 3-4 different websites and am constantly editing on the go! One big thing I have to tip my hat to Yekbee on this is they provide some real instructions on the keyboard not to mention short cuts as well as a blueprint of the keyboard with descriptions of the key’s. Like the Logitech it does have a sleep mode that saves battery life so thats a big plus. Another big plus is the fact that they have a battery life key and charge status lights on this. 3 lights for full charge and when it gets to 1 the light changes color and flashes. Thats a below 30% status and it at least gives you a heads up to say charge me! As far as how long between charges goes, I don’t have a good feel for that yet. I did have it one time shortly after I got the keyboard running where the lights changed colors and started flashing, however I thing that I didn’t have the keyboard fully charged. So far I’m on 2-3 days without charging the keyboard and I still have 3 lights on the charge status. All in all I’m extremely pleased with this purchase especially when you through in the fact this is less then half the cost of the Logitech at Best Buy! I will update this review if the battery life changes from my stand point. If there is ANY thing negative I could say about this keyboard it would only be I like the feel of the Logitech keys with the somewhat rubbery feel of the keys. I liked that because your fingers seemed to stay on the keys without slipping. This keyboard is a standard feel. Again very easy to adjust to and thats only if I want to get super picky in looking for something to complain about! If your on the fence about this keyboard, don’t be and just get it! You will be glad you did especially if you have had problems with the Logitech keyboards!
