Growth Versatility, Easy Use, Well Thought Out Engineering

There is a lot to like about this system. We have raised 5 daughters who are now having children of their own, so we got this for the latest grandchild. It is so refreshing to see a system that can grow with the child. Seems that we were always having to buy new seats and strollers as our girls grew out of the infant stage into toddler and beyond. Evenflo has done a remarkable job of incorporating "growth versatility" into this unit, which really makes this a bargain since it kind of functions as a "one and done", in which you won't have to keep building on future purchases. It is easy to open and close, with a foot operated quick release pedal, and is fairly intuitive in its use. The wheels are large enough to easily navigate over rough surfaces and the dual front wheels facilitate ease in steering. One thing in particular that we especially like is being able position a child in the forward or rear facing positions. Many systems only allow the toddler to be facing forward. We like that an infant can be facing mom as she walks the stroller, which I think is comforting to new born babies, and those up to a year old, to be able to see mom as they are wheeled about. There are a lot of protective features built into this stroller. Very good sun protection, when needed with dual hood extensions from both the stroller back and the removable seat, when you place the infant seat to the rear facing orientation. There is plenty of padding throughout and the safety belts are easy to engage and disengage. We found the mounting in a car to be a bit easier than other systems like this, which in the past seemed to require an engineering degree to figure out how to attach a semi-permanent seat base, when securing it with the vehicle's permanent seat belts, or you had to be a contortionist to be able to maneuver yourself into position to interface the seat base with the vehicle seat belts. Once the semi-permanent base is locked into the vehicle seat belt system, mounting the car seat is quick and easy with a single push button release on the front of the car seat. For storage and baby needs, there are adequate areas for the infant to use with two cup holders and a snack tray area between them. The tray is easily removable with a quick release tab on each side for both hands to easily lift off and away, for storage, which can be placed into the open mesh compartment at the bottom of the stroller. And topside at the stroller handle there are 3 tray sections for adult use for cell phones, keys, or other items desired to be within easy reach. Another minor feature which should not be overlooked is the flow through ventilation mesh at the top of the seatback of the stroller, which allows breeze to circulate at the infant's head level. In some situations, this might be a welcome feature to the infant, since that seat area could become a bit uncomfortable on a hot day, when you have the sun shade extended. Without the mesh at head level, there might be more heat trapped, creating discomfort. And of course, the overriding positive feature, as mentioned before, is that the car seat can grow with the infant, beyond toddler stage, until the child is large enough to sit in the car with just the car seat belts engaged. Very nice unit from Evenflo, from our many years of experiences, in raising 5 daughters.

Must have for every parent!

I love travel systems! They make it so easy to take baby everywhere. The car seat itself is really sturdy and connects well to the base. It clicks in and out very easy which makes going from the car to the stroller a breeze. The stroller is study and has plenty of space to put a diaper bag as well. Lastly, the color is beautiful. Obviously this is not as important as safety or quality but I just wanted to make that note. And the fabric is easy to clean with a wet towel.

Easy to Assemble, Lightweight, Very Sturdy

The Evenflo Vive Travel System with Embrace Infant Car Seat is very easy to assemble. All you have to do is click the wheels on the stroller. It is also very easy to install in the car, although I had to read the car owners manual to find the anchor points in the back seat. Once I found the anchor points it was very simple to click the restraining belt for the base to the seat cushion. It’s lightweight and easy to get in and out of the vehicle. The stroller collapses and folds flat for easy storage. The seat cushion is easily removed and it’s machine washable. We expect this will serve us well when transporting our beloved grand babies. A solid 5 star product.

New Baby Coming Soon!

An exciting time when a new baby is on the way. This stroller /car seat set is a great gift or for grandparents like us for when the baby comes to visit. I really love the ease of transfer from car to stroller. I also love that with an extra base the child can be transferred from car to car. When the child outgrows the infant car seat (more than 35 lbs.) the stroller can still be used for years. Easy to clean and I love the color, perfect for a girl or a boy. It was also very easy to assemble. The stroller does fold almost flat, but it does take up a little bit of real estate in the trunk or back area of the car. The amount storage with a pocket on the back and basket underneath along with cup/bottle holders on top and in front of the child are much appreciated. It is very simple to open even with just one hand. It also has a big canopy for sunny days or rain sprinkles. I am impressed with this product and the price was right. We realize we will need to purchase another car seat as the child grows but that has been the case since our children were born 25+ years ago.

Love that this set can grow with my grandchild

This set is very attractive. AND, it seems to be very sturdy. This will last long enough for several hand downs over the years. very easy to open and close, and the dual front wheels make it very easy to steer. It stows pretty flat, so great for airline trips. Really nice that it can be used for rear facing for infants and then change to forward facing as child grows. Evenflo makes a great product.

Well engineered travel combo

I’m impressed with this car seat/stroller combination. Although the price point is conservative, it’s very adequate. Car seat: this is for a newborn to toddler with the weight limit being up to 35 pounds. It’s well built and I like the color scheme and design. Stroller: it’s a great value. This stroller has all the necessities without a lot of glamour. The ride is smooth despite the plastic wheels. Much of that will depend on the terrain. The wheels were also easy to assemble by just popping them into place. I like the ample amount of storage underneath the seat. Overall, it’s a functional stroller/car seat combination at an affordable cost.

Easy to use

This Evenflo Vive Travel System is easy to use. The stroller/car seat combo is great for newborns and infants. The neutral color is good for either gender. I like that the car seat goes from car to stroller easily and then as baby grows the stroller turns into a toddler stroller. We will be able to use this for years to come. The stroller has ample storage and even a pocket that snaps closed for security. Well made and portable.

great modular system

The car seat and stroller travel system is good for infant to about 1 yr old. The car seat base mounts very easily in the back seat with the seatbelt loops in the bottom and fastened. Then the car seat just fastens to the base also very easily and clicks to lock. easily removed with unlock press and lifts up. Then the car seat can be placed onto the stroller to easily carry around. The stroller can be operated one hand release. The car seat handle also rotates to form a third leg support when on the ground or on a seat in the restaurant. The pulldown cover gives privacy and security for the child while blocking lights to protect the child from too much sunshine to the eyes. The wheels are strong and has shock absorption system for a comfortable ride. The stroller also has ample storage for the milk, diapers, wipes, extra blankets, etc. The seats are very comfortable with lots of padding. The seat belts for the baby are also padded to offer protection and comfort for the little prince/princess. It also can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth to wipe away any accidents. The whole travel system is incredibly light weight and folds down to take less room in the trunk. It's a great companion for the baby and parents. Evenflo knows how to make quality baby products. I'd highly recommend this car seat system.

Evenflo stays state of the art....

We used Evenflo products back 3 decades ago so now that there are grand-kids we were glad to hear Evenflo is still going strong! This combination car-seat/stroller accomplishes MULTIPLE parent-infant necessities in one box! The rear-facing cat seat is not only cutting edge modern, it will accommodate small fry from 5 to 35 pounds - (back in the day we used 2 or 3 car seats as baby grew through those sizes!) The stroller is sturdy, but uncomplicated - it's light, but folds up into a small profile to fit car floor-boards, den corners, etc.

Easy to use and versatile

Absolutely top-notch quality. Beautifully made. Everything fits together perfectly and works flawlessly. Extremely attractive. Includes the car seat, which easily detaches from the stroller base, and also easily installs into your car. Made to be useful for your child from babyhood right up to 35 pounds, which means for a few years. The stroller is easy to push, control, and steer, and the brakes are completely dependable and easy to engage. For what you get, this is extremely reasonably priced. Frankly, I can’t recommend this stroller highly enough.
