This is right at my technical limit to pull apart the door and get the locking mechanism in and out of the door without breaking anything, pull the locking mechanism apart, replace the actuator, put it back together, reinstall it in the door, and clip everything back to it without anything breaking or becoming defunct. At nearly halfway through I got stuck trying to disconnect the locking mechanism from the door handle mechanism inside the door as it was extremely difficult to do so through the narrow passage inside the door. If you see the third pic - the metal piece coming up to the white plastic piece was stuck inside the lip and I had to carefully, yet forcefully push it through using a hook and pick tool to get the lip out of the way. If you're a seasoned mechanic, this job is probably a walk in the park. If, however, you're new to this kind of stuff, you tube is your friend. I can't post the links I used as the automated screener doesn't allow links outside Amazon, but I had to use three different videos and watch each one closely multiple times before it made sense. 3 hour job total with the videos. If I had to do it again knowing what I'm doing (kinda), I could probably do it in under an hour. A seasoned mechanic could probably do this in under half an hour.

Replacing 2 actuators in my Honda Pilot got all my doors working again. The only issue is that when locking the doors with the remote, the horn doesn’t sound anymore. Not sure if that is an actuator issue or something else. No biggie though. Remote locks/unlocks doors now so that is what is important.

The right front passenger side lock actuator failed on my 2003 Honda Pilot. Getting at this part is a bit of a task, but can be done with a bit of patience. This part is a perfect replacement for the OEM unit. Total replacement time was around 2 hours... well add 30 minutes to that for the time it took me to open the door panel back up to retrieve the flashlight I had left inside the door! Fit and function are perfect and the door lock now functions, good as new.

I received this item early, which was awesome. I was so tired of hearing the grinding noise from my passenger door lock. I have a 2009 Honda Odyssey and this part was a perfect replacement item. I had it installed at a local repair shop. It took them about an hour and twenty minutes to get the job done. I was surprised by the good quality of the part. It was heavy-duty and I was very happy I ordered it online and not at my local auto-parts store. I saved $30.

Perfect! Installing isn’t too difficult, but a pain if you don’t know what your doing. All my 3 doors actuators went out, driverside, driver passenger side and the back passenger door. Work like a charm! Save myself 50 bucks each for an oem one. Why go to the dealer when you can do it yourself! Save money and expand your learning.

For a do it yourself it was easy to follow instructions from you tube and install this replacement part. It works fine. I installed it about a month ago. Time will tell if this part lasts a long time, but so far so good. Plus it’s way cheaper than oem or the big chain auto parts store.

So far so good. Installed about a week ago. Good alternative to Honda parts. Fit perfectly in door lock. Had a little trouble getting door lock back together but that's a Honda issue not actuator issue. Great buy for an older vehicle. Will take a little time to install.

was an easy install and the product is made better then the factory one that came with the car

Is not easy to install if you don’t have little experience and my recommendation take picture to all of it make sure put it back correctly. Is hard one three Screw attaché to it is really hard and my friend he is Mechanical open to me with special tools .

My 2004 accord coupe, passenger side lock was not working. So I ordered the actuator installed it and BAM it works. Easy to intall, 5 screws lift door panel up 2 more screws, move window track out of the way and you have access. Takes about 40 minutes. Saved me $250.
