Solid, sturdy, good looking and super-fast morning coffee!!!

This hot water dispenser only took about two minutes to unbox and setup, is well put together, feels sturdy with suction cups underneath to help ensure a safe grip to the surface where it sits, looks great on my countertop AND.... it makes my morning coffee in half the time! If fact, I'm enjoying my morning coffee while I write this review! I decided to purchase this because I enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning and prefer using a French press. In the past, I've used an electric kettle which would take about five minutes to boil and was extremely loud while it brought the water to a boil. Now, instead of boiling the water first, I simply add the ground coffee to the French press and place it under the spout. Then I unlock the hot water dispenser, set the amount to "0" and press the "Start/Stop" button. The "0" setting means it runs until you press the "Start/Stop" button again. As soon as it begins filling, I set a timer for 5 minutes. While it's filling, I use a spoon to give it a little stir and then wait for it to fill, which only takes about two minutes. Once my 5 minute timer goes off, I push down the filter and pour a delicious, steaming hot cup of coffee. This is easy to setup, easy to use, easy on the eyes and should be an easy choice if you're looking for a quick and convenient hot water dispenser.

Only picked it up today, so no long term use at the moment, I will comment further if anything goes wrong. For now, looks and works great. Exactly what we need for hot drinks, without having to boil a kettle, therefore saving money in energy. Very pleased with my purchase thus far.

Works as Intended

I purchased this product because I am an avid tea drinker and don't have the patience for kettles on a stove. This water dispenser dispenses hot water extremely quickly (truly 5-8 secs) and at whatever temperature I need. It was easy to set up and looks great on my counter. It can handle different mug sizes. The water tank it large enough that I don't have to refill after each dispensing. Unfortunately, one CON for me is that it cannot fit my travel mugs. I typically have to use a regular mug and pour the water into my travel mugs.

Facts you need to know before you buying this: - It took 1 minute and 12 seconds to pump out 8oz of 100C/212F hot water. - The temperature of the first half oz of the water coming out from the machine may not reach the temperature that you selected. - The water tank is relatively small. 2.17L = 73.37oz. Roughly about 7 to 8 cups (8oz). - Need to change the water filter every 150 liter Although there are some disadvantages that I listed above, I still love this machine!! This machine gives me hot water almost instantly without waiting after refilling the water tank. The other key feature that I like is that I can change the water temperature instantly.

Boils water in nder 10 seconds

This product is great. It can fill a 12 oz cup of boiling hot water in under 10 seconds. It is also incredibly quiet, unlike a standard kettle. I have been looking for a product like this for ages. 95% of the time I only require one cup of water at a time so this is very efficient

• PROs: I've been searching for a hot water dispenser that would quickly heat an INDIVIDUAL SERVING of water to the proper tea-brewing temperature of 212 degrees (as opposed to heating an entire pot of water), and this fits the bill beautifully. With this model, you can select exactly how many ounces to dispense (4 oz., 8 oz., 12 oz. or 16 oz.), which is wonderful, as it only takes seconds to heat the water. Also, there is a choice of several various temperatures, up to 212 degrees boiling, which is exactly what I wanted. With other types of dispensers, you wind up having to boil an entire pot and then reheat previously boiled water, which can alter the taste, as well as being a waste of energy. It holds a good amount of water, approximately 2.17 liters (which is about 73 ounces or nine 8-ounce cups in U.S.A.), and it gives you a signal when it is beginning to get low on water. It's easy to add more water using a measuring cup, and it comes with a replaceable water filter. It has a relatively small footprint and doesn't take up too much space on my small countertop. • CONS: When refilling, it takes a little while for the water to go through the filter, but that's not really a problem. I just try to remember to add a little water from time to time to keep it full. It does come out boiling hot, but I'll admit, because I like my tea super hot, sometimes I do stick it in the microwave for 10 seconds afterwards just to make sure it stays boiling hot. • THE UPSHOT: I LOVE IT! I've been using it several times a day for about a month, and so far, no problems. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I can wholeheartedly recommend the NutriChef Instant Hot Water Dispenser to my fellow tea drinkers.

Boils Water Very Quick

I bought this to put in my office, since I'm an avid tea drinker. This is so much nicer than a tea kettle, as it's almost instantaneous in terms of heating the water up. Yes, it makes a little noise - but it's not overwhelmingly loud.

Easy to use and accurate

The amount and temperature of the water dispensed are accurate. The unit is easy to set up. The buttons and display are intuitive. I don't see what could be improved.

I was immediately contacted back for a reimbursement and another trail at their product. Works great! Similar to the Kurig style of heating.

A must have for a tea drinker

This thing is awesome. You chose how hot you want your water & how much you want. It spits out the hot water in seconds. I use this for tea & making hit water for my needed diet food. I would recommend this to anyone who loves tea & hates the microwave water.
